I bought ax55 from asus. And router actually good for gaming because of low latency in multiplayer games. I get like 5ms in counter strike 1.6. And ax55 can play 4k even through 2.4ghz network with 20mhz width. 4k tv is in the room with like 15 other wifi networks, 15 meters from router. Yes ax 58u is more powerful but what does this power change if ax55 does everything the same way. Cheap 4 core processor router. But was twice the price of tp-link ax3000. I want ax11000 rapture but it is 4 times the price of ax55 in russia. 7000 vs 30000 rubles. And tp-link was the first choice but had noticible slower working speed. Like videos in youtube had longer uploading time and asus firmware is old but works fine. And asus routers are normal not super fast. And asus range could be better. I guess you can dream of a better router from asus like axe16000.

I got the AX58 and its 100x better than my shitty old router I had for awhile. Wish I didnt wait forever to upgrade
you didnt list the cpu specs, the ax58u has a tri-core 1.5 ghz and ax55 has quadcore 1.5ghz
