Man, that single swing arm and two pipes, I am in love. Bikes don't get any better than that.

Gorgeous bike...looking at getting the same one in Malaysia. How do you find riding around in the tropic with safety gear on? I notices you're riding around in a t-shirt! I pan to do a few road trips so I'll be wearing a jacket and pants!!

If doing a longer journey, I'll wear armoured jeans, gloves and a jacket and it's fine when moving but you can't avoid getting sweaty if moving slowly...
The bike itself doesn't give off enough heat to be a problem although it is noticeable if stuck at traffic lights etc.
      Good luck with it!

@pg.travels good to hear...thanks! I was going to buy a scooter which would have been the practical option but I'm managed to convince myself Ducati is the way to go!! Might ride up to Thailand and pay you a visit!!

I'm looking to get one on my next visit to Chiangmai in January 25.
I see quite a few advertised for around 90000 baht but all are well overdue for belt replacement and I have been wondering what that was going to cost so thanks for that.
How's it working out ? Did you lower the gearing ?
I'm going to keep mine at the in-laws pace until we move out there permanently once we sell our business in Oz.

I didn't bother doing the sprocket change in the end. It's ok as it is once you get used to it.
The 90k -110k ones are usually 795's which are slightly smaller, double sided swing arm but exactly the same engine. Great value imo.
Once you find a good mechanic, maintenance is nothing to worry about really. The parts are never that much and labour is next to nothing so it's a great place to own an otherwise expensive bike!
      Thanks for watching 👍
