I get it's his opinion, but come on, season 4 practically killed the show. It wasn't only because of Madison's original death and Nick dying, it was just terribly written after that. Legit once they got rid of Madison, that's when everyone gave up on the show lol
Respect your opinion but man, I hated pretty much everything after Season 3. 6 was fine but you had so much stupid stuff with our group not just killing the Vultures and letting them destroy the stadium, marker lady...., random annoying kids who disappear later, trucker villain not really a villain, painting trees, helping documentaries, the nuclear fallout where you could take your mask off anytime you want and be fine and Strand being a villain for really no reason at all, kid stealing Padre loser siblings who are pathetic, and Troy lying about killing Alicia just got annoying and they didn't do anything with him and killed him again....oh and I can't forget the beer balloon and wrestling walkers and catapulting walkers. Man this show was a disaster after 3 lol
I'm glad you showed lots of visuals from those older seasons, here. I totally forgot how much more varied that locations and settings of this show used to be! They explored a lot of cool places. The last two or three seasons, though, everything looked the same, probably due to the budget. Its such a shame.
Man when the first showrunner left as well as the actor who played Nick Clark left. Ftwd was bad after Season 4. Also, certain characters would disappear randomly as well lmao😂
Overall I'd give the show an 8/10, the only season I genuinely hated was Season 5, and the second half of Season 4. I also definitely enjoy Seasons 7+8 more than 4+5, yes there were plenty of frustrating story and character things (especially in 7) but the pacing, visuals and camerawork were a million times better in 7+8 than that boring stiff gray slog that was Season 5. I felt the dialogue was better in those last two seasons as well than in 4+5, in Season 5 it felt like every character spoke the same way and tried to work in the word "help" as many times as possible in every conversation. My ranking: 3 > 6 > 2 > 1 > 8 > 7 > 4 > 5
1) Season 3 - 5/5 2) Season 1 - 4.5/5 3) Season 2 - 4/5 Large-ish Gap 4) Season 6 3.5/5 - Only good thing from the geniuses Ian and Andrew Huge Gap 5) Season 7 2/5 6) Season 4 2/5 - Hard one to rank because the first half is sort of alright but the back half is like not even TV. 7) Season 8 1/5 8) Season 5 1/5 This show was a literal chore to get through post-season 3. Very sad that they never let the show get good again and recover before killing it. They had 4 seasons in which to fire Ian and Andrew and try and fix it but it was literally way too far gone by the ending. The real Fear ended many years ago. Whatever this variation was finally ended without ever getting good. I have never in the history of television seen a show that was so good get so destroyed. Season 3 was legitimately some peak television from every standpoint, the acting and writing to the filmmaking and gorgeous cinematography. How that show then became quite literally the worst tv series ever made is insane. It went from great to the worst. Can't think of anything else that had SUCH a plummet. Insane what AMC did to this show. I will forever mourn the Fear that we could have had. We will never know what really was going to happen to those characters and what stories we would have had. So upsetting. Bruh season 4 above any of the original 3 seasons, especially Season 3 is legit deranged imo. God, Morgan, Ian and Andrew and Scott Gimple are the worst things to ever happen to this show. Doubt Ian and Andrew are getting to work in writing ever again.
.... However, to the credit of Fear TWD at least they didn't have that woman living on the rubbish dump with people dressing like robots. And the villains stayed villains. As opposed to sadistic maniacs who turn out to be "Heyyyyyy, I've got a beard now, I'm a nice guy really"
Season 7 has great visuals with the nuclear explosion, I love seing all of those scenes of them in the toxic wasteland, and I liked the scene where that old guy walking through that big horde (completely forgot his name), but other than that, the season is just a mess
Season 3 was hands down my favorite season. Nick and Troy were my favorite characters in the entire TWD universe. I was definitely gutted by the deaths. I expected Troy and Nick to go off on some diabolical adventure 😪.
1. S3 2. S2 3. S1 These three seasons were the peak of The walking dead universe in my opinion. Season 3 was fenomenal, the finale was fantastic. Then comes the decline in quality.... I barely watched episodes, I skipped 10 seconds always to skip boring dialogues. Season 6 was kinda good. 4. S6 5. S4 6. S8 7. S7 8. S5
My ranking is 3 > 2 > 6 > 1 > 4 > 8 > 7 > 5 I really like season 2 because it all feels very realistic. 4 and especially 5 are wayyy too happy for me. There's no sense of moral ambiguity, just good and bad and morgans group is all pure good lol 3 is a masterpiece imo, absolutely love it!
I’d recommend everyone to rewatch fear and tell me how you feel watching s316 and s401 right after. S2 gets a lot of hate but is my personal favorite season of fear, the character development, locations and gore are top notch and I slept on it my first watch. Binge the first 3 seasons and the characters and story’s make sense you can see Madison and nicks relationship crumbling. One of my favorite scenes is Nick and Troy high talking to the Walkers and Nick says “I can’t go back with her” really laid the ground work for what could’ve been a great story arc. AMC really cared more about crossover gimmicks than seeing a story through. Dave Erikson and the fans really got disrespected with what they made fear.
Great list, here's mine: 1. Season 6 (simply amazing, every episode worthy and a great watch) 2. Season 3 (most people favorite) 3. Season 1 (thrilling start) 4. Season 4 (great first half, boring 2nd half) 5. Season 2 (not a fan of this one, but thanks to the awful writting of the seasons below, this is above) 6. Season 7 (liked few episodes, but this went nowhere, great first and last episodes tho) 7. Season 8 (Worst writting and cringy acting, goes nowhere, no point, goes back and forth, brings back Troy for no good reason, disappointing end to the show, but is not the worst as its shorter and it finally ends, liked eps 4 and 6, 4 is my 2nd favorite episode after 6x01) 8. Season 5 (was is and forever will be the worst season, it literally could've been one or two episodes)
Love this list! Season 6 was easily my favorite season too, but Season 5 is probably my least favorite. It's the only season of any TWD show I actually HATED. If I had to rank every season from worst to best... 8: Season 5 3/10 7: Season 7 6/10 6: Season 4 6.5/10 5: Season 8 7.5/10 4: Season 2 8/10 3: Season 3 8.5/10 2: Season 1 9/10 1: Season 6 9.5/10
Ive only watched 3 seasons Season 2 is my absolute favorite 2>1>3 Season 2 reminds me of TellTale's Video Game, tWd Because Kenny and Lee wanted to get a boat, season 2 plays out what I imagined season 1 video game would've been like. Also Im Mexican so my biasness is THRU the roof Seeing MEXICO, albeit being Tijuana/Rosarito which I would argue is just San Diego Jr and vice versa was STILL SUPER COOL I speak spanish so seeing and hearing the details of mexico/Mexican people interacting with zombies and american tourists who were trapped was super cool Season 1 Los Angeles, agaij super fvcking cool because I feel like the west coast is left out too much in Walking Dead Series and overall Zombie Media . Would be great to see Zombies in Tucson/Arizona San Francisco/Bay Area maybe Seattle/Washington with the rainfall being an environmental difficulty Etc etc
I want you to expand on why Virginia is the best villain of this series, cause I wanna disagree with you but I legit don't remember much of her other than her death scene because season 5 was SO BORING to me. I legit think that with what I remember, the assassin guy on the first episode of season 6 was way better, and he only lasted 1 episode 🤣
The show got better at season 4 for me, it stayed strong with 5 and even 6. However season 7 had two extremes. I loved the nuclear radiation, gas masks, apocalyptic look. TWD NEVER went that far. The wasteland look with a red/gold tint I loved it but I didn't care about the new people at all. I hate the division of Strand and the rest of the group. I hated that they killed Nick in the same episode they introduced Morgan. Nick was the heart of Fear, but I'm glad Alicia stuck around at least.
My favorite season is season 2 for sure The boat thing was something I enjoyed Season 1 was good Season 3 was alright, hated how Travis was k!lled off He was becoming one of my favorites, finally getting a good and strong character development just for him to be forgotten and reminded about in the same time was dreadful Im still watching the end of season 3 right now
I liked season 7 alot, had tonnes of actions and that everyone was fighting over the towerr becayse of the radiation, but i agree that the character motivations was odd at times.
Season 7 was so bad, I watched like 4 episodes and never went back to this series. I loved seasons 1-4, might go back and finish off the final 2 seasons one day but if I don't it's fine.
I believe that they brought Madison back to Fear because they didn't want people rioting or stop watch the show just like they did previously with the death of Glenn in TWD..... The main Walking Dead series also have a lot of boring fillers with characters not really doing anything as well plus a couple of light-hearted episodes just like Fear so it's pretty much the same thing to me😂 lol....FUN FACT: The actress Colby Minifie who play Virginia in the series also on "The Boys" as the character Ashley Barrett. In my opinion I think Fear The Walking Dead is entertaining and a awesome show. The actress Alycia Debnam-Carey who plays Alicia had other projects that she was really committed to around season 7 with filming. I have a couple of close friends who are actors and actresses and had previously worked in the entertainment industry to know when one project had stopped shooting for season then they work on another just to get more income. You may have some some schedule conflict with your main primary project that you are committed to for years. But at the end of the day the actors and producer find some way to shoot around it....BTW when the character Travis got shit in the neck he sacrifice himself by falling off the plane because he was going die and turn.
I will say this about season 7: Unlike some of the other boring seasons the TWDU like TWD7, 8, World Beyond, Fear 4 and 5, this season is never boring. I think that separating characters from Morgan’s all life is precious ideals and letting them be on their own along with the stupid actions, motives, and overall writing leads to so many scenes coming off as stupid and comical rather then serious. There is always something stupid to laugh at.
I still have so many questions!!! Where the hell is Tobias from season 1? Where did Taka go after the dam exploded? (Taka the native American) Where did the Biker gang go at the end of season 3? Is the trading station in Mexico still there ?! Where did the truckers go? What happened to the rabbi? WHY IS NO ONE ASKING THESE QUESTIONS ?!!
Too many hacks, too many shills, too many apologists at AMC banking off their bad writing is how they still have their jobs. I'm looking at you, Scott Gimple! Chief Content Officer, my ass!
i liked that you did not just say that season 5 is awful and bad you said that it had great writing but was a little boring thats just how i see it to its not unwatcheble and awful its really good in a episodes it just suffers from being a bit boring in some episodes but when you binge watch it the pacing problem gets a bit better
Right until the very end of the very end, I still thought Travis might show up. Things i disliked... 1 Let's consider Daniel. He got dementia so bad that he even forgot he had dementia.😐 🤓 😐 2 The season where Victor was throwing people off the top of the tower. OK but WHAT IN SEVEN HELLS IS THAT RIDICULOUS HAT HE KEEPS WEARING. Victor, you look a be11end mate. 3 is too long to describe but basically Troy and Madison sinking in the quicksand/water then miraculously escaping. 4 Madison's vendetta against Troy. He saved her life and she still killed him. I can't remember what he did to enrage her so much but is it worse than stealing people's kids. Oh, did he kill Alisha? How does she know this?
WAIT !. You ACTUALLY picked season 4 over season 3 LOL !?. Anyway, this is my rating: 1. Season 6. 2. Season 3. 3. Season 1. 4. Season 2. 5. Season 8. 6. Season 4. 7. Season 7. 8. Season 5. P.S: This show is WAY OVERHATED !!.
I love your takes. You are a lot more charitable than most people are for my favorite seasons. I agree with season 4 being hella underrated and season 5 being boring. The writing for 7 & 8 was awful but at least it ending pretty nicely and we got to to see characters return. I would have to disagree and say 3 is the best though because it’s the most consistently good and the most fun to rewatch. That to me is what makes a show especially twd so good. S6 is fine to me but not as fun to rewatch.
My List 1. Season 3 Troy Otto Is the GOAT 2. Season 1 Love the beginning of the apocalypse 3. Season 2 The Last Third of the Season is debatably the best part of the show 4. Season 6 Had the best Villain and huge potential in Teddy but wasted him ultimately as he should have been Season 7 Main Villain. 5. Season 4 I hate everything about the Stadium but having Morgan and John made it better 6. Season 5. TRASH Both Season 7 and 8 are Utter Horse shit and don't even deserved to be ranked. Just pure cancer of television and I want the minutes of my life back that I wasted watching these two seasons.
Virginia was a garbage villain. Having June cap her in he head was long over due cause anyone else could have easily done that and be done with her. She had zero charisma or power and the power she held over our characters annoyed me and made zero sense. I actually preferred the last half of Season 6 cause Teddy was the best villain in the series and had potential to be up there with The Governor and Negan but ofcourse the stupid show writers don't know what the fuck they are doing and completely waste John Glover as an actor and villain which he always kills it in when given a Villain role. Good Job Fear Good Job you had the Joker of the Walking Dead and completely wasted it.
I liked most of season 7. To me, Strand was Kefka from FF6 and the season overall matched that pretty well. It was ridiculous and over the top and laughable and the fact that these hack writers/directors hit nuclear fallout on the dartboard was quite a last ditch effort before the rushed nothing turd of S8. At least they didn't bring back 3 "dead" characters in S7.
Season 8 had 12 episodes only because of budget cuts and it really shows. I think that'S the reason awful amount of scenes, mostly fights, are skipped. They even reused a scene from season 6 :D
This show has 3 horrible seasons 4,5,7 2 half decent seasons 2,8 1 alright season 1, and 2 good seasons 3,6. Over all even the worst season of walking dead prime is better than every season of this in my eyes, but it is still better than world beyond, but some of the best episodes of this show are uo there with twd prime
They ruined this show when they decided to bring over the walking dead guys to run this show because apparently they either are incapable of or just not willing to write for female characters. Instead of following up where the best season (3) left off they decide to bring over boring ass Morgan to lead the show and killed off Madison and diminished Alicia to a side character who somehow lost the ability to lead without his guidance? Madison was a complicated character who held her own against the men who got in her family’s way and clearly these new show runners were not interested in that. It’s what set the show apart from the original along with a brighter landscape because of the west coast location so they “improve” the show by replacing Madison with boring ass Morgan and eventually create a nuclear fallout to make it dark and difficult to see what was happening at times. Yup, that’s seriously brilliant work and should be used as an example of how to destroy a show.
Man Season 8 was some hot garbage. Lol Just the way the scenes flow and are executed makes no sense at all Find my self asking a million questions on how tf certain things are happening and why. Just lazy shit all around
I remember the last six episodes of Season 4, with that Martha character, being absolutely terrible. It would be near the bottom of my list. Seasons 1, 2 and 3 were definitely better than 4.
anything that has season 3 at the top and the first 3 seasons in the top 3 and has season 5 at the bottom is correct. Personally i would swap season 1 and 2 and season 7 and 8, but hey season 1-3 are great and season 4-8 are terrible so yh
First 3 seasons were on another level.
There was still some pretty awful writing but yeah seasons 1 & 3 were great
Dear fucking god seeing season 4 top 2 is worrying. Any of the seasons that are above the first 3 is worrying 😂
I get it's his opinion, but come on, season 4 practically killed the show. It wasn't only because of Madison's original death and Nick dying, it was just terribly written after that. Legit once they got rid of Madison, that's when everyone gave up on the show lol

I enjoyed the show! Are we getting a Fear The Walking Dead Characters ranking video??👀👀
My ranking:

2. Season 6
3. Season 2
4. Season 1
5. Season 4
6. Season 8

They killed Nick in season four, and the best character in the show also the villain was horrible
Were you smoking a crackpipe and blowing bubbles for jesus when you wrote this comment

6) Season 4 2/5 - Hard one to rank because the first half is sort of alright but the back half is like not even TV.

I gave up at the mid season of S4, my favorites were S1-S3, i just didn't like how the the focus was shifted from the Clarks to Morgan and friends.
.... However, to the credit of Fear TWD at least they didn't have that woman living on the rubbish dump with people dressing like robots.

8.) Season 8
7.) Season 4
6.) Season 1
5.) Season 5
4.) Season 2
3.) Season 6
2.) Season 3
1.) Season 7
Alright. Didn't expect you to shit on season 7 the way you did. I disagree with pretty much everything you said there
I’d disagree, the best villain overall is Troy, no disagreeing, he’s just too good in season 3. Then not far behind is Teddy, then Virginia
I still have so many questions!!!
Where the hell is Tobias from season 1?
Where did Taka go after the dam exploded? (Taka the native American)
Where did the Biker gang go at the end of season 3?
Is the trading station in Mexico still there ?!
Where did the truckers go?
What happened to the rabbi?
WHY IS NO ONE ASKING THESE QUESTIONS ?!!
yo are u ever planning on doing an episode ranking for twd season 11
He ranked all 177 episodes😂
@@dahannes6739 ik but like a video for just season 11
Episode 1124 blows all season finale of TWD away
how did these writers keep their jobs after their job, this last season was god awful
Too many hacks, too many shills, too many apologists at AMC banking off their bad writing is how they still have their jobs. I'm looking at you, Scott Gimple! Chief Content Officer, my ass!
I’m not sure how anything after seasons 1-3 are canon….. season 4-8 are a joke and a shell of its former glory smh
@@plaguedoctor5657 s6 imo was amazing, showed peak morgan but s4,5,7 and 8 should not ever been made
@@plaguedoctor5657former glory? Yikes.
The people who complain about TWD 7-11 need to watch the last 5 season of Fear...
Season 3 was almost better then the actual seasons of twd im still pissed they didn’t follow up on the dam cliffhanger
i liked that you did not just say that season 5 is awful and bad you said that it had great writing but was a little boring thats just how i see it to its not unwatcheble and awful its really good in a episodes it just suffers from being a bit boring in some episodes but when you binge watch it the pacing problem gets a bit better
Right until the very end of the very end, I still thought Travis might show up.
Things i disliked...
1 Let's consider Daniel. He got dementia so bad that he even forgot he had dementia.😐 🤓 😐
2 The season where Victor was throwing people off the top of the tower.
How does she know this?
for session 6 the first ten were good because of the Virgina story but after it was just all the teddy stuff
WAIT !. You ACTUALLY picked season 4 over season 3 LOL !?.
Anyway, this is my rating:
1. Season 6.
2. Season 3.
3. Season 1.
4. Season 2.
5. Season 8.
6. Season 4.
7. Season 7.
My List
1. Season 3 Troy Otto Is the GOAT
2. Season 1 Love the beginning of the apocalypse
3. Season 2 The Last Third of the Season is debatably the best part of the show
4. Season 6 Had the best Villain and huge potential in Teddy but wasted him ultimately as he should have been Season 7 Main Villain.
5. Season 4 I hate everything about the Stadium but having Morgan and John made it better
6. Season 5. TRASH
Both Season 7 and 8 are Utter Horse shit and don't even deserved to be ranked. Just pure cancer of television and I want the minutes of my life back that I wasted watching these two seasons.
I love the actor for Teddy, hes so funny
@@tjdw5251 Yea John Glover is good
Rank season finale of both shows if you haven't already.
The moment Nick got shot I stopped watching the show
Yeah I was about stop it too
Virginia was a garbage villain. Having June cap her in he head was long over due cause anyone else could have easily done that and be done with her. She had zero charisma or power and the power she held over our characters annoyed me and made zero sense. I actually preferred the last half of Season 6 cause
Teddy was the best villain in the series and had potential to be up there with The Governor and Negan but ofcourse the stupid show writers don't know what the fuck they are doing and completely waste John Glover as an actor and villain which he always kills it in when given a Villain role. Good Job Fear Good Job you had the Joker of the Walking Dead and completely wasted it.
Never let Ian and Andrew cook again
wrecked what could've been peak TV from Dave Erickson, AMC sucks
Season 3 is the best for me
Bringing Troy back was a mistake he ended up being an awful Villain and just didn't feel the same at all
Season 6 is best.
Haven't watched this series. After hearing all this, I don't even want to....egads!😮
i agree with your top 3 and your bottom 2
I liked most of season 7. To me, Strand was Kefka from FF6 and the season overall matched that pretty well. It was ridiculous and over the top and laughable and the fact that these hack writers/directors hit nuclear fallout on the dartboard was quite a last ditch effort before the rushed nothing turd of S8. At least they didn't bring back 3 "dead" characters in S7.
season 6 was just far cry 5 lol
Virginia is your favorite villain, what about Teddy?
Season 8 had 12 episodes only because of budget cuts and it really shows. I think that'S the reason awful amount of scenes, mostly fights, are skipped. They even reused a scene from season 6 :D
Which scene from that season?
@@wickdaline8668 It was a minor scene of some people preparing food, reused in Strand's hotel. There is a video on youtube.
Season 7 was dreadful
You should do an updated ranking of all the seasons in the walking dead franchise now that this garbage ass boo boo show is over too
3,1,2. All that matters.
Season 2 > 3
How Fear managed to get 8 seasons baffles me!!!
Seasons 4 and 5 are literally the worst things I’ve ever watched. Especially the second half of season 4.
I hated s6 TBH, I just couldn't even start watching s7 because of it, Morgan ruined the show
Man Season 8 was some hot garbage. Lol Just the way the scenes flow and are executed makes no sense at all
Find my self asking a million questions on how tf certain things are happening and why. Just lazy shit all around
Season 8 was so so bad
1. Season 6
2. Season 4
3. Season 3
4. Season 8
5. Season 7
6. Season 1
7. Season 2
8. Season 5
I remember the last six episodes of Season 4, with that Martha character, being absolutely terrible. It would be near the bottom of my list. Seasons 1, 2 and 3 were definitely better than 4.
8. Season 5
7. Season 7
6. Season 8
5. Season 4
4. Season 6
3. Season 1
2. Season 2
1. Season 3
Accurate tbh
anything that has season 3 at the top and the first 3 seasons in the top 3 and has season 5 at the bottom is correct.
Personally i would swap season 1 and 2 and season 7 and 8, but hey season 1-3 are great and season 4-8 are terrible so yh
1. Season 1
2. Season 2
3. Season 3
4. Season 6
5. Season 7
6. Season 5
7. Season 8
