Hey Sean, when Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse comes out and you do a Spider-Man movie ranking, will you be including Morbius in your Spider-Man ranking?
You said Rian Johnson doesn't seem interested in celebrating Star Wars, I'll explain why I personally disagree, which if you disagree with me that's cool :) This is why I think TLJ is a love letter to Star Wars fans, now the man issues people have is with Luke Skywalker because he cut himself off from the force, which Obi Wan also does in the show both characters are dealing with trauma both are struggling with personal demons, one tormented about his friend who is like a brother, the other with a nephew who he made a promise to his Sister and Brother inlaw to take care of..Not only did he fail but it was at a cost of his students as well, he was unable to deal with the guilt so he went into hiding. Now one of the other issues was Luke wanting to kill his nephew which isn't true, he didn't want to kill his nephew he saw that he had already turned and for a brief moment he thought he could stop what his nephew was going to do but stop himself, now some will say that's out of character but Luke did just that in Return of the Jedi, going from saving his father to wanting to save his Sister from his Father, Luke says " I will not fight you" to vader so vader tries to find Lukes weakness ,Vade says "So you have a twin sister your feelings have now betrayed her to, Obi Wan was wise to hide her from me now his failure is complete if you will not turn to the darkside then perhaps she" Before Vader can even finish.. Luke went from not wanting to fight his Dad, to being in rage wanting to destroy his Dad, and he takes his Dad down, now his Father is unarmed and for a brief moment he thinks of killing him to keep his Sister safe..But then sees that he will be no different then his Dad so he resists, honestly a similar story in TLJ that does not feel out of character. Now there is the scene where Luke throws his Fathers lightsaber, I can see why this scene upset some people, but this is a broken down Luke, Luke did toss his lightsaber in return the Jedi, at the time I figured he threw it because last time he had that Lightsaber was before he knew his Dad fell to the darkside and murder children with it, but it seems he toss it in away I'm not the Luke Skywalker your looking for, I have no issues with it but see why some may, also Luke milking a Alien Cow is not odd at all as that is what farmers do and what he needs to do to live off the Land, Now the scene with R2 and Luke and Yoda and Luke is pure classic Star Wars, also the love letter to Star Wars fans imo is in connection with A New Hope Leia sent Obi Wan a hologram message across the galaxy for help, but it is Luke who receives his Sister's message first, and in TLJ it is that very message that gives him hope once again when R2 reminds him of hope, now he returns the favor in his Sister most desperate time as all hope seems lost, Luke sends a hologram of himself across the galaxy to unit a spark of hope once more, and learns from Yoda's teaching from Empire Strikes Back that the Jedi should be about defense not to attack, Leia sends Luke a hologram across the galaxy in a New hope that started Luke on his journey, and R2 reminded him of that moment and Luke return the favor a beautiful moment, and Just like Obi Wan Luke got to go out the way he wanted, and just as Luke's Journey begin with looking into the Binary Sun with hope and a purpose his journey ends the same way. I could keep going lol but this is why I love TLJ and to why I think it's a love letter to Star Wars fans May the Force be with you.
Personally, I don't mind what characters and stories I see, I just want to see more alien species and a more colorful galaxy rather than just sand, trees, water, etc., give us new elements and diverse environments!
I agree. I feel Disney has been too focused on being diversed between humans, that bringing in aliens has been thrown to the side; but it’s not like we ever had too many aliens among the main cast in any of the other Star Wars movies made by Lucas either. I guess we just relate to humans more given that we all are humans. I do agree though about the planets too. I feel like we haven’t gotten to see as many cool wacky alien planets you would expect to see in a far off universe. Most planets we get to see are just biomes we’d see on earth. Obviously it’s hard to make alien planets for late 70s early 80s OT, and the PT and CW shows are decent about doing that. But it feels so lacking in recent Star Wars. We’ve had to many desert planets. Jakku, that place in ROS, tatooine, more tatooine, tatooine for the 3rd show in a row. Why always tatooine! 🤦♂️
@@starwarsfan729 ? I do not follow. If you're calling my opinion trash, then don't, because I have the exact same opinion as all of you. Sequels are glorified expensive fanfics, the rest are good. All I want is something new. Done. Your turn.
Revenge of the Sith will always be the greatest to me. It literally brings together the entire of the Star Wars universe. Showing Palpatines rise to power, with his manipulation of Anakin and how that plays out with the Jedi.
Movies: 1- Revenge of the sith 2- Empire strikes back 3- Return of the jedi 4- A new hope 5- Attack of the clones 6- The Phantom Menace 7- The force awakens 8- Rogue One 9- Solo 10- The last Jedi 11- Rise of Skywalker Shows: 1- The mandalorian 2- Obi wan Kenobi 3- Book of boba fett
As a massive fan of Star Wars here is my personal opinion: 1. Revenge of the Sith 2. Empire Strikes Back 3. The Mandalorian 4. Rogue One 5. Return of the Jedi 6. New Hope 7. Obi-Wan Kenobi 8. The Force Awakens 9. Solo 10. The Book of Bobba Fett 11. Phantom Menace 12. Attack of the Clones 13. The Last Jedi 14. Rise of Skywalker
@@AlejoConejo-vb8ln I love the fact that Rogue One is your favorite film in the franchise, it is a really underrated movie. While I don't have it at #1 it is still in the Top 3 for me
Revenge of the Sith is number 1 for me. Growing up with the prequels, getting to see them in theater obviously skews my rankings but I think the anakin vs OB1 is the best love action lightsaber fight we have seen to date. The choreography was excellent and a great portrayal, as you said they know each other so well and each other fighting style, amazing fight.
Nah I’m with Sean me and my buddies were laughing in the theatres at how bad it was. We didn’t walk out like some people if I remember correctly cause we are true fans. None the less revenge of the south was hard to sit thru with a straight face and I haven’t watch it since.
Great ranking, here’s mine 1: revenge of the sith 2: return of the Jedi 3: empire strikes back 4: a new hope 5: rouge one 6: force awakens 7: mandolorian 8: solo 9: attack of the clones 10: phantom menace 11: kenobi 12: book of boba fett 13: rise of skywalker 14: last Jedi
Some of the best Star Wars content is animated. The clone wars, rebels, bad batch are pretty epic. They flush out the story and bridge gaps better than some of the live films. Stories about Darrh Maul, mandalorian the planet, the inquisitors, order 66, Ashoka content etc.
Definetely. The main animated Star Wars series put the live action ones to shame. The story and characters are fabulous, quite unlike the live action ones. The freedom with the world designs, the character designs, the action sequences, the sets is really incomparable. It really hurts to see how clumsy The Mandalorian, TBOBF, Obi-Wan and even Andor feel now.
Awesome video! Here’s my ranking. 14. The last Jedi 13. Rise of Skywalker 12. The book of Boba fett 11. Attack of the Clones 10. Solo 9. Kenobi 8. The Force Awakens 7. Mando 6. Phantom menace 5. Rogue one 4. A new hope 3. Return of the Jedi 2. Empire strikes back 1. Revenge of the sith

Force Awakens 6. The Mandalorian 5. Return of the Jedi 4. A New Hope 3. Rogue One 2. Empire Strikes Back 1. Revenge of the Sith
@@sawyercarmack6712 Certainly without “Duel of the Fates” the ending wouldn’t have been as epic, but even then the idea of Palpatine slowly manipulating everything behind the scenes is an interesting story, and Qui Gon Jinn was perfectly casted with Liam Neeson

@@ruslanrautiola7791 Truth be told though, I do think that if The Last Jedi was a Spin-off Movie, I think it would've been better. But because it's Episode VIII, it's at the bottom for me. To sum it up, as a Movie on it's own, It's pretty good. But as a Star Wars Movie. It's pretty bad.
My list would be: 14. Rise of Skywalker 13. The Last Jedi 12. The Force Awakens 11. Book of Boba Fett 10. Solo 9. Phantom Menace 8. Attack of the Clones 7. Obi-Wan Kenobi 6. The Mandalorian 5. Your list is almost the same as mine. I go back and forth on whether Last Jedi or Rise of Skywalker is worse. But honestly Empire, Original 1977, and Mando are the only ones I really dig
@@ryanbollinger1759 imo only Mando and Rogue One have been great. I gave ROS a 2/10, TLJ a 2/10, Force Awakens a 5.5/10, Boba Fett a 5/10, Obi a 5.5/10, and Solo a 6/10. If we count Visions, I personally gave that an 9/10. This is all just imo ofc but I respect yours

@@NinthShinigami the prequels and jedi were all of us 2000s boys favorites when we were little. Getting older you come to appreciate 4-5 way more and see their genuinely great movies on their own. I believe that you’re spot on with The Phantom Menace. Anakin and Obi-Wan should have been closer in age and have a more Charles/Erik dynamic like in X-Men: First Class. Maybe Obi-Wan should have discovered Anakin and helped him start to unlock his powers. Maybe he should insist on training Anakin against Qui-Gon’s wishes, giving him another layer of responsibility. I don’t think you have to get rid of Jar Jar and the Gungans, just make them a fierce race of Lizard warriors similar to the Wookies and they could be badass. Don’t let Jar Jar be a complete idiot, just someone who grows into becoming a great warrior.

Return of the Jedi is my favorite. Satisfying conclusion aswell as some of those most iconic moments in all of film. Amazing final battle in space and on the Death Star and the return to the light of vader at the end is perfect.
Great list Sean! And thank you for giving Rogue 1 and Revenge of the Sith the respect they deserve! Even though I would put both over Return of the Jedi…
Yeah Return of the Jedi is a bit overrated in my opinion. When you really dissect the film it has a ton of flaws and a lot of stupid scenes. The movie could of been so much better but I still like it for what it is.

Personally rise of skywalker made me respect the last jedi. I actually loved the stuff with Luke, Rey, and Kylo Ren in the last jedi and it had interesting ideas, from Rey being a nobody to Kylo Ren being the supreme leader. But because fans got so angry they desperately tried to retcon last jedi by having Rey be related to Palpatine, Palpatine being resurrected for absolutely no reason, and they even had to please the Reylo fans. Rise of skywalker is basically stuff they took from Reddit and shit
Agreed. It's sad because the original episode 9 sounded dope and I'll never understand why they did not go with Colin Trevorrows script like it's 1,000 times better then Rise of Skywalker. Rise of Skywalker in the end pleased no one cause it undos TLJ and it makes things sour for OT and PT fans.
I agree. I get the issues people have with TLJ, but I personally love the movie for doing something deeper and different. I used to love TROS, but it got worse for me over time, and it makes me appreciate TLJ so much more.
This, this, this. TLJ at least had some really cool elements and I LOVED what it did with Kylo Ren, but TRoS just kinda sucked ass all-round, from a storytelling standpoint at least

I agree so much that Disney have to move away from this obsession with old characters and the Skywalker timeline, move on, go 1000s of years in the past or future and create new characters, new stories, new wonderful lore. I think you are so right about what's missing is passion. Lucas didn't hit the mark with everything but you can see the passion in his films and the inspiration from mythology and other things. It's just sad now that they rely so heavily on nostalgia, when did Hollywood become so lazy and lacking passion? What happened to wanting to make something truly memorable and special?

Attack of the Clones (3/10) 15. The Rise of Skywalker (3/10) I’d really like for Star Wars to do more new things, whether you like The Last Jedi or not, I think we can both say that movie brought a very bold take to Star Wars, whether that take was good or not is up for debate. The Mandalorian is easily my favorite Star Wars show (besides maybe Clone Wars) because it brought in a new character and a new story. I don’t want to see another show that does stuff that other shows did much better (ie Boba Fett, Kenobi). I have stuff I love in TLJ and stuff I hate in TLJ but I appreciate that Rian Johnson brought a new take and I think he’s doing much better stuff outside of Star Wars now.
So glad to see the comments in this video giving the appropriate ranking or rating for Revenge of the Sith. I’m just so tired of hearing it’s the best Star Wars movie and a “10/10 movie masterpiece”. Is it a good movie? Yeah sure. But let’s be honest it’s a 7/10 movie (8/10 at most) that’s just being appreciated so much because of two cool scenes. Like yeah, Obi Wan vs Anakin and Order 66 are great but it’s still very flawed. It still has cringy dialogue and romance, boring politics, the special effects look kind of dumb, Vader screaming NOOOO. And don’t even get me started on Hayden Christiansen. Everyone on Social Media is claiming this dude was the “perfect pick” for Anakin Skywalker and that no one could’ve played it better than him. Guys. Are you dumb? If he’s truly that good why did he get hate in the first place? Why are people still memeing on his lines? If he was so good he would’ve get loved for his performance from the very beginning and people wouldn’t have memed on his lines because they’re dumb lines or they’re badly performed. I’m glad he got to get back to a role he liked and he wasn’t horrendous no, but saying no one else could’ve played him is very out of line and childish to say. It very much gives me vibes of a kid walking out of a theatre and every time he liked it he says “that was definitely my favorite movie of all time mommy!”
Eh, I think I would give ROTS a good 85% it’s my personal favourite but it’s definitely not perfect. It has a lot flaws but almost every movie has some flaws, even Empire. But I can see why people blindly praise this movie like it’s Jesus or something
Great video Sean! My Ranking; 14. Rise of Skywalker 13. Boba Fett 12. Last Jedi 11. Kenobi 10. Attack of the Clones 9. Solo 8. Mandolorian 7. Return of the Jedi 6. Phantom Menace 5. Rogue one 4. Empire strikes back 3. Force Awakens 2. Revenge of the Sith 1. New hope
Grading all the films A New Hope 8/10 Empire Strikes Back 9/10 Return of the Jedi 9/10 Phantom Menace 6/10 Attack of The Clones 7.5/10 Revenge of the Sith 9.5/10 Force Awakens 8/10 The Last Jedi 5/10 Rise of Skywalker 1.5/10 Mandalorian 7.5/10 Rogue One 7/10 Solo 3/10 Obi Wan Kenobi 5.5/10 Book of Boba Fett 3.5/10
So glad you understand how underrated ROTS and Rogue One are! Here’s my list: 14. The Last Jedi - Is this the worst film on here? No. But it is the worst Star Wars film, and it gets nothing done. No progress is made except for the destruction of Luke’s character and arc of the original trilogy. 13. Phantom Menace - Is it boring? Yes. But does it at least do something with its runtime? Yes. And props to Lucas for trying something different. 12. Solo - It’s definitely better and more even overall than some of the other films on this list…but it’s just so monotone and mediocre. And it also just redoes Han’s arc in ANH. I’m also not a fan of the lead’s portrayal of Han. 11. Attack of the Clones - The writing is far worse in this film than any other on the list, but there are a few entertaining sequences in here, so there’s that. And the highs are much higher than, say, Solo. 10. Boba Fett - The plot is just so sloppily constructed, and they do a terrible job of justifying his new character. But the Mando episodes are fun, if out of place. 9. The Rise of Skywalker - This is an abysmal conclusion to the grand Skywalker saga, but hey, it’s pretty fun. Right when you notice the bad writing and awful plot, there’s another action scene to hold your attention. 8. Obi Wan: I was so excited for this one, but just couldn’t help but feel like they really dropped the ball. They should have focused way more on Obi Wan and Vader. 7. The Force Awakens - From FN-2187’s interesting and fresh character, to the mystery of Rey’s origins, this film did a great job starting off a new trilogy. It may just be a rehash of ANH, but it’s fun. 6. A New Hope - It’s a classic film. There’s no way around it. It’s pretty slowly in the beginning, but once they get on the Death Star, it’s a lot of fun, and just a good tale of Good vs Evil 5. ROTS - After watching the Clone Wars finale, I really understand the gravity of Order 66 better, and this film really packs an emotional punch. Hayden Christensen is still not great as Anakin, but the tragedy of the situation itself is enough to keep me caring. 4. Rogue One - A great tale of survival and dying for what you believe in, this film works because it’s a departure from everything else in the SW universe. The characters are cool, and the action is raw and exciting without lightsabers. 3. The Empire Strikes Back - I love this film. It’s a fantastic sequel, but it can drag a little bit in the second act. 2. Return of the Jedi - I have always had a soft spot for this movie. Luke and Vader’s dynamic is so great and climatic in this, and the results are very satisfying. 1. The Mandalorian - It may not have the gravitas of the originals, but this show is consistently entertaining, and Mando’s character is written incredibly well, as we see a man’s life changed by, simply, a small bounty. There are so many fantastic moments on this show, and it does a great job of expanding the universe’s lore, so for me, it’s #1.
I love this franchise!!!!! It feels weird saying that though, because despite it being true, for me, and I think the same for others; there are alot of these movies and shows I genuinely dislike or even hate. But I still love it and here’s my list(including cannon animated shows): 17. Rise of skywalker 16. The last Jedi 15. Boba Fett 14. Force Awakens 13. Kenobi 12. Bad Batch 11. Solo 10. Rebels 9. Attack of the clones 8. Mandolarian 7. Phantom Menace 6. Clone wars 5. Rogue 1 4. A New Hope 3. Revenge of the Sith 2. Return of the Jedi 1. Empire Strikes Back
Having not seen Mando season 3, Ahsoka, Boba Fett, or Andor season 2 (to future proof this list), here’s my list: 1. Empire Strikes Back 2. A New Hope 3. Return of the Jedi (personal favorite) 4. Andor (could go higher if it ends well) 5. Mando (seasons 1 and 2) 6. Rogue One 7. Revenge of the Sith 8. The Last Jedi(more fascinatingthan good) 9. The Force Awakens (good setup for nothing) 10. Solo (give us the Lord and Miller cut!) 11. Kenobi (forgot this existed) 12. The Phantom Menace 13. Attack of the Clones 14. Rise of Skywalker
My ranking of the Star Wars movies from best to worst (IMO). 1. The Empire strikes back (5/5) 2. A New Hope (4/5) 3. Return of the Jedi (4/5) 4. Revenge of the Sith (3.5/5) 5. Rogue One (3.5/5) 6. The Force awakens (3/5) 7. Solo (3/5) 8. The Last Jedi (2.5/5) 9. The phantom menace (2.5/5) 10. The clone wars (2/5) 11. Attack of the clones (2/5) 12. The Rise of Skywalker (1.5/5)
For me it’s: 1) Revenge of the Sith 2) Return of the Jedi 3) A New Hope 4) Empire Strikes Back 5) Mandalorian 6) Rogue 1 7) The Force Awakens 8) The Phantom Menace 9) Obi-Wan Kenobi 10) A Solo Story 11) Attack of the Clones 12) Book of Boba Fett 13) The Last Jedi 14) Rise of Skywalker
1. Empire 2. New Hope 3. Rogue One 4. Mandalorian 5. Last Jedi 6. Return 7. Revenge of the Sith 8. Solo 9. Force Awakens 10. Phantom Menace 11. Attack of the Clones 12. Christmas special 13. Rise of Skywalker Didn't watch Boba Fett Haven't finished Kenobi Haven't watched Clone Wars
It's a little hard for me to rank the shows with the movies sometimes, but right now mine would be 1. Revenge of the Sith 2. The Mandalorian 3. The Empire Strikes Back 4. Return of the Jedi 5. Kenobi 6. Rogue One 7. The Last Jedi 8. A New Hope 9. The Book of Boba Fett 10. The Rise of Skywalker 11. Solo 12. The Phantom Menace 13. The Force Awakens 14. Attack of the Clones
Cool list but I'm just curious on why Mando is so high. I like the show too but I never saw someone rank it so high before and it seems like a lot of fans are kinda starting to become negative towards the show now so it's interesting to see someone have the show in their second spot
@@mimikyumasterplushshow9621 I think the plot lines with Luke, Rey, Kylo Ren, and Snoke are all incredible. If it wasn't for the other plot lines it would probably be higher, and I think ANH is consistently really good all throughout but the highs of TLJ are better than ANH imo
What Sean said about Star Wars relying on old characters to impress is why I love bad batch and rogue one, both focused on unique new characters which I loved!!
My ranking 1. Return of the Jedi 2. A new hope 3. The empire strikes back 4. The rise of skywalker 5. Revenge of the sith 6. The force awakens 7. Kenobi 8. Rogue one 9. The mandolorian 10. The book of boba fett 11. Solo 12. The phantom menace 13. The last Jedi 14. Attack of the clones
This guy LITERALLY has the best taste in movies and tv shows, altho i do think he might get a little nostalgic biased, but his takes are also VERY VERY GOOD, and this is definitely the only channel i go to if i wanna see a new movie or show
Disagree with Solo and TFA being above Kenobi and the prequels. Those were cheap cash grabs, whereas the prequels were Lucas returning to complete his magnum opus, complete with deep and complex performances from Hayden Christensen and Ian McDiarmid.
@FgH Hayden’s performances as Anakin and Vader, Ian McDiarmid’s performance as Sidious, the opera house scene, the opening of the film, Jedi Council vs Sidious, and Anakin’s humanity being turned against him because of his desire to save the woman he loves. And that’s just the stuff from before Order 66. And there’s a lot of great stuff in Episode II as well, which in my opinion is tied with III for best Star Wars movie due to how they don’t shy away from showing us what a person with Anakin’s upbringing would actually be like, and how that perfectly leads into his compelling romance with Padmé and the beginnings of his descent into darkness.
@@gabehoyer5410 I don’t disagree with that notion. But unlike with the Disney Trilogy, I felt like with Kenobi there was a genuine effort to tell a story about how a broken character regains his humanity.
@FgH The thing about Hayden's performance is how it brilliantly conveys the character exactly as George Lucas wrote him. I get that not everyone may like how the character was written, which is perfectly fine, but the best performances, at least in my opinion, are the ones that truly bring to life the characters in accordance with the vision of the filmmakers. As for the argument of the politics appearing too much in the trilogy, the longest senate meeting scene is 2 minutes and 28 seconds, and the reason those scenes are in there is to show us how the Republic became the Empire, which ties into the trilogy's larger theme of how good becomes evil. It only covers the politics in the most universal concepts, not going into the nitty gritty details. As for what I loved of Episode II, there's the stuff most people loved, like Detective Obi-Wan and the final act, but as important as action and spectacle is when it comes to Star Wars, it means nothing if you don't care about the characters or story, which is where in my opinion the best part of the film comes in: The romance between Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala. It gives us a greater insight into both of these characters and who they really are, beautifully shows us the conflict between their personal desires for each other and their loyalties to the greater good of the Jedi and the Republic, and best of all, is presented in an earnest and sincere manner, rather than the cliche Hollywood fool-proof manners that are predominantly seen in other cinematic romances. And I say this as someone who doesn't usually like love stories in films. I understand that all of this is definitely an unpopular opinion, but that's just my thoughts on all of it.
My Ranking For The Star Wars Movies 1.Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith 2.Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back 3.Episode IV: A New Hope 4.Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi 5.Episode 1: The Phantom Menace 6.Star Wars: Rogue One 7.Solo 8.Episode II: Attack Of The Clones 9.Star Wars: The Force Awakens 10.Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker 11.Star Wars: The Last Jedi
@@brrrrrrrrrt3406 I’m sorry, but I am. My opinion is as valid as anyone’s. I grew up with the Star Wars movies and have watched them all numerous times. It’s like Sean says: “My list isn’t the right list, it’s just my list” same goes for mine
@@yogurtsandwich5009 sure ain’t right list. Last Jedi is horribly written and you say the throne room scene is cool just look at how it’s choreographed. Random ground smacking, getting hurt when not even touched, and people get right back up after being killed. It’s a horrible movie it’s horribly written and horribly choreographed.
My list: 14) Episode IX 13) Book of Boba Fett 12) Last Jedi 11)Obi wan Kenobi 10) Attack of the Clone 9) phantom menace 8) Solo 7) force awakens 6) New hope 5) Rogue One 4) Return of the Jedi 3) The mandalorian 2) Empire Strikes 1) Revange of the Sith
Somewhat of a hot take: 1. Empire Strikes Back 2. Star Wars 3. Rogue One 4. The Last Jedi (I love it. That's final.) 5. The Force Awakens 6. The Mandalorian 7. Return of the Jedi 8. Solo 9. The Book of Boba Fett 10. Obi-Wan Kenobi 11. Revenge of the Sith 12. The Rise of Skywalker 13. Attack of the Clones 14. The Phantom Menace

It’s interesting to see how much your rankings of Star Wars have changed throughout the years. Our list is pretty much the same, I’d just swap attack of the clones and solo around and also swap revenge of the sith and rouge once. As much as I can acknowledge the force awakens has many flaws, and was ultimately a movie that built up to nothing, I can still watch it on its own and find enjoyment.
My list: 1) Empire Strikes Back 2) A New Hope 3) Return of the Jedi 4) Revenge of the Sith 5) The Mandalorian 6) The Force Awakens 7) Rogue One 8) The Attack of the Clones 9) The Phantom Menace 10) Solo 11) Obi-Wan Kenobi 12) The Book of Boba Fett 13) The Last Jedi 14) The Rise of Skywalker I agree with everything you said about all of the films and shows (especially in Empire). Empire is my second favorite film of ALL TIME.
For me it’s 14. Attack of the Clones 13. The Phantom Menance 12. Solo 11. The Book of Boba Fett 10. The Last Jedi 9. Revenge of the Sith 8. Rogue One 7. The rise of Skywalker 6. Obi-wan Kenobi 5. The Force Awakens 4. A new Hope 3. The Mandalorian 2. Return of the Jedi 1. The empire strikes back
I like both Rogue one and Revenge of the sith, but for me Revenge of the sith is mostly carried by the clone wars series and before I watched that I never liked it and while it has risen it still depends too much on other Star Wars media too make it great. I still like it though and it has some of the best moments in it, but it also has some really bad moments like the palatine and mace fight. Rogue one while it was pretty good had a lot of characters I didn’t really know or care too much about and the movie didn’t fully make me fall in love with them. Like I never liked Andor or Bohdi really. The Vader fight scene however is amazing though
1. Revenge of the Sith (The first movie I’ve ever seen in my entire life) 2. The Empire Strikes Back 3. Attack of the Clones 4. Rouge One 5. Return of the Jedi 6. A New Hope 7. The Mandalorian 8. The Force Awakens 9. The Phantom Menace 10. The Rise of Skywalker 11. Solo 12. Obi-Wan Kenobi 13. The Book of Boba Fett 14. The Last Jedi
I agree with about this entire list, though I put Kenobi a lot higher. I’m probably a little biased about it though because Obi-wan is my favorite character, I love Ewan McGregor, and my favorite time period is the Empire’s Reign. I know it has a lot of flaws, but I take the best from each episode. And then episode 5 and 6 is peak Star Wars in my opinion
Personal List 14. The Last Jedi 13. The Rise of Skywalker 12. The Force Awakens 11. Kenobi (it had potential) 10. Book of Boba Fett 9. Solo 8. Attack of the Clones 7. The Phantom Menace 6. My favourite of the prequels is attack of the clones, my favourite of the originals is return of the Jedi and the Disney ones is force awakens, great vid and list Sean 🔥🔥🔥
1. Empire Strikes Back 2. Star Wars/A New Hope 3. Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV Series 4. Return of the Jedi 5. The Mandalorian Seasons 1 and 2 6. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story 7. The Force Awakens 8. The Bad Batch Season 1 9. Star Wars Visions Season 1 10. Revenge of the Sith (edit. Star Wars Rebels in between here) 11. The Phantom Menace 12. Attack of the Clones 13. Star Wars: The Clone Wars Movie 14. The Book of Boba Fett 15. Obi-Wan Kenobi 16. Rise of Skywalker 17. The Last Jedi
Just realized if I could rank Disney EA’s Battlefront 2 and Jedi: Fallen Order, BF2 would be above Boba Fett due to the underwhelming possible story, and Fallen Order would be above Force Awakens which is baffling to the quality of recent Star Wars films Also realized forgot Solo which is how much I’ve forgotten it. It’d be just below Battlefront 2’s story.
@@5xmasterx548 It’s all subject to change (ex. Forgetting to add Jedi: Fallen Order) but for me rn, the highs of Bad Batch (Tipoca City, Crosshairs, post prequel era worldbuilding) and Visions (Ronin, Village Bride, Ninth Jedi, the Elder) are more consistently high than in ROTS. Also the highs I have for ROTS (Order 66, fall of the Jedi Order, tragedy of Anakin) relies on The Clone Wars series for that added depth, especially the final four episodes. That’s why Clone Wars is higher for me than ROTJ.
Here’s my list: 14. Rise of Skywalker 13. Attack of the Clones 12. Phantom Menace 11. Book of Boba Fett 10. The Last Jedi 9. Solo 8. Obi-Wan Kenobi 7. The Force Awakens 6. Revenge of the Sith 5. Rouge One 4. The Mandalorian 3. Return of the Jedi 2. Star Wars 1. The Empire Strikes Back

Last Jedi 12. Clone wars movie The shows 1. Clone wars 2. Mandalorian 3. Bad batch 4. Obi-wan kenobi 5. Rebels 6. Book of boba fett Honorable mention: resistance (haven’t watched)
Star Wars these days just frustrates me, I don’t like the Prequels, I don’t like the Sequels. The Originals are amazing. Now i just want them to do something different with Star Wars and move away from the Skywalker stuff and go like a hundred years in to the future
1. The Last Jedi 2: Revenge of the Sith 3: The Mandalorian 4: The Force Awakena 5: The Rise of Skywalker 6: Rogue One 7: Kenobi 8: Return of the Jedi 9: Attack of the Clones 10: The Empire Strikes Back 11: The Phantom Menace 12: A New Hope 13: Solo 14:The Book of Boba Fett
Funny I actually like Attack of the Clones best and even Halloween 3: Season of Witch from that franchise too. The sand quotes actually make sense because he grew up on Tatooine and literally grew up despising it....what part was unbelievable? Also the movie isn't solely focused on Padmes and Anakins relationship which improves the film in contrast. (If you dont like Natalie Portman, you have a problem). I'll always defend the prequels!!
My ranking, Sean finally put the Last Jedi at last, finally. 15. Last Jedi (ruined Star Wars) 14. Rise of Skywalker (trying to fix all the issues from Last Jedi, but still flawed) 13. Force Awakens (it downgrades because of the results of the other two) 12. Phantom Menace (Darth Maul save the movie) 11. Book of Boba Fett (basically Mando 2.5) 10. Attack of the Clones (the good part is introducing Anakin to the Dark Side, but it slower and some parts are cringed) 9. Solo (bad production, but still good film, if the box office never flop, and up for a sequel to Han) 8. Obi-wan Kenobi (The written wasn't the best, but the last two episodes were amazing) 7. A New Hope (Introduced to the characters and mythology, but the pacing is a bit slower than the top films) 6. Rogue One (Introduces to the rebels who help get the Death Star plans, love it, and also the Vader scenes steal the show) 5. The Clone Wars tv show (explaining Anakin's character and further explain one of the reasons taht he turns to Darth Vader, also Ahsoka and Clones in the show are amazing) 4. Mando (season 2 > season 1, but it really good show that doesn't tell a story about the rebellion or the jedi) 3. Empire Strikes Back (Most people say it the best, I enjoy the Hoth scenes, Yoda, and the lightsaber battle between Luke and Vader) 2. Revenge of the Sith (the darkest film, memes, and also shows how the Republic and Separatist collapse into the Empire) 1. Return of the Jedi (close the heroic arcs for the Rebellion, especially Luke, the best scenes in all of Star Wars is basically the battle of Endor, and the second duel between Luke and Vader, also conclude the arc of Anakin/Vader) Never seen Bad Batch, so it not includes in the list.

@@thiagopena3258 considering he ranked both venom movies in the previous list - I don't see why not!
You said Rian Johnson doesn't seem interested in celebrating Star Wars, I'll explain why I personally disagree, which if you disagree with me that's cool :)
This is why I think TLJ is a love letter to Star Wars fans, now the man issues people have is with Luke Skywalker because he cut himself off from the force, which Obi Wan also does in the show both characters are dealing with trauma both are struggling with personal demons, one tormented about his friend who is like a brother, the other with a nephew who he made a promise to his Sister and Brother inlaw to take care of..Not only did he fail but it was at a cost of his students as well, he was unable to deal with the guilt so he went into hiding.
Did you just say diverse? How woke
@@chaserseven2886 *AHEHEM* ...Alien species.
I do not want to see your ranking lol

@@harrisonells8660I sense a Sequels fan with a bad taste.

@@RCC_1
I wouldn’t say Andor fits that bill, but the other live action shows… definitely.

Very good list you have!
Your list is almost the same as mine. I go back and forth on whether Last Jedi or Rise of Skywalker is worse. But honestly Empire, Original 1977, and Mando are the only ones I really dig

Agreed about the "good" parts of last jedi. Loved Kylo/ Rey dynamic in that movie.

I’d really like for Star Wars to do more new things, whether you like The Last Jedi or not, I think we can both say that movie brought a very bold take to Star Wars, whether that take was good or not is up for debate.
My list is pretty much the same all I would change is Revenge of the sith goes to 2nd and obiwan swaps with solo

So glad you understand how underrated ROTS and Rogue One are!
Here’s my list:
It’s pretty slowly in the beginning, but once they get on the Death Star, it’s a lot of fun, and just a good tale of Good vs Evil
But I still love it and here’s my list(including cannon animated shows):
17. Rise of skywalker

Kenobi was also a cheap cash grab
@@gabehoyer5410 kenobi is what you get when you give a toddler 200 million dollars yo make a show
@FgH Hayden’s performances as Anakin and Vader, Ian McDiarmid’s performance as Sidious, the opera house scene, the opening of the film, Jedi Council vs Sidious, and Anakin’s humanity being turned against him because of his desire to save the woman he loves.

Revenge of the Sith that low?
Hey it’s an opinion but I couldn’t disagree more
I respect your opinions and all, but you gotta do Rouge One dirty like that!
I mean everyone can have their own opinion.

I agree with about this entire list, though I put Kenobi a lot higher. I’m probably a little biased about it though because Obi-wan is my favorite character, I love Ewan McGregor, and my favorite time period is the Empire’s Reign.

Funny I actually like Attack of the Clones best and even Halloween 3: Season of Witch from that franchise too. 6. Rogue One (Introduces to the rebels who help get the Death Star plans, love it, and also the Vader scenes steal the show)
5. The Clone Wars tv show (explaining Anakin's character and further explain one of the reasons taht he turns to Darth Vader, also Ahsoka and Clones in the show are amazing)
4. Mando (season 2 > season 1, but it really good show that doesn't tell a story about the rebellion or the jedi)
3. Empire Strikes Back (Most people say it the best, I enjoy the Hoth scenes, Yoda, and the lightsaber battle between Luke and Vader)
2. Revenge of the Sith (the darkest film, memes, and also shows how the Republic and Separatist collapse into the Empire)
1. Return of the Jedi (close the heroic arcs for the Rebellion, especially Luke, the best scenes in all of Star Wars is basically the battle of Endor, and the second duel between Luke and Vader, also conclude the arc of Anakin/Vader)
Never seen Bad Batch, so it not includes in the list.
