1. Safety
As per the data released by GNCAP, the Maruti S-Presso scored a cast test rating of zero stars. The build quality of the vehicle is not very great and the car will not be a safe vehicle in case of a crash, thus high injuries to the occupants inside the cabin.
2. Poor Driving Dynamics and Highspeed Stability
The Maruti S-Presso is a light-weight vehicle and does not have sorted driving dynamics. High-speed stability remains poor and there is too much body roll making it a better urban vehicle than a highway mile muncher.
3. Missing Features
Many essential features like rear power windows, day/night IRVM, and rear defogger are missing from the package. These features are a must-have in today's era and the brand should have offered these in the higher trims of the Maruti S-Presso.
4. Suspension Setup
The suspension of the S-Presso is not very well-tuned and the vehicle does tend to suffer int he ride-handling balance. The ride is bumpy and the stiffer suspension takes on the overall comfort levels inside the cabin

I have been using this MARUTHI SPRRSSO CAR more than two years, i am satisfied driving this car in city and high way driving too good. Best car in this budget segment and more reliable and best milege in city 19kmpl and highway 23kmpl than other brands. Value for money. Star rating only tested 60km speed, but fact is nobody drive in highways 60km. Drive safe speed and obey traffic rules respect other lives

I can proudly say that I was the first user of spresso and I bought it on 2021. Still using the same and I can categorically say, I am a very satisfied owner till date. Less maintenance , driving comfort, good on roads which are crammed, better mileage and low insurance amount

I had so many cars but I was really surprised with the comfort and performance of Spresso. I bought it for my Dad but now Im using it all the time. Narrow roads, bad roads, highway, u can drive anywhere without getting tired. My friend even drove from Himachal to Ladak in Spresso. Maruti should update Spresso with some more features.
I cant believe people still buy Alto, i10 etc. Beauty of an engine, can see the tip of the bonnet. Sitting position is awesome. Ground clearance is great. Maintenance Nil. Mileage great.

Sorry, ur evaluation of Spresso is totally wrong. In fact, its total nonsense. As a user, i stopped using cars costing 3Lks more after using this. Its the best car for city. I hv also travelled consistently in Highways at speeds of 120kmph. No issues. Best driving position, best ground clearance, best visibility, good mileage, trouble free ownership,VXI plus AMT is the easiest car to drive . V hv even gone in rough mountain terrain using it. Dont repeat things like a parrot based on somebody's talk.u hv not used it, i can easily make that out. U wont hv credibility. In fact, its based on such assumptions that people r still buying Alto instead of Spresso because they r in the same price range. For a typical family of 4, Spresso is the best car in that price range.
Absolutely true. That too having Spresso as the image for the video. Guy has no idea what he is talking. I bought Spresso for my wife. I started using it as my daily car! Best car till Tata Punch. I dont know on what basis he can find a better car in that price range.

Pl remove Spresso from your list because everything seems right except Spresso. I can tell you because I have one and 3 of my friends in Kerala have it. V r all so happy with this car. I have used it in city, highway, everywhere, even in 4x4 territory. Most underrated car. I dont feel like driving any other car in Bangalore traffic. So easy to drive. No maintenance. Can go fast, can go slow. It can do everything.

Im using spresso last two years... Whatever u mentioned build quality (very poor plastics interior) and steering stiffness is right... But riding quality for middle class family is great.... Mileage very pleasing which having 24 in highways and 20 in city with AC... But price is slighly high for this range...FYI.

Although after a lot of analysis I went for the Ignis manual, the S-presso is a very practical city car, ideally suited for congested areas. The AMT variant is a breeze to drive and very unique among small hatchbacks, with its vertical panels, high seating position, clear bonnet visibility and good ground clearance. It does not have great highway manners but is very fuel efficient and purely as a city commuter, an excellent car.
XUV 300 is the best car in sub 4 meter SUV segment. I had the test drive for both cars Nexon and XUV 300 at the same day with 10 minutes gap. Nexon has blind spot in the right A pillar, it has a big cabin noise, and a lot of body roll. Even clutch is also harder than XUV 300. But in XUV 300 is far better in all the above. No cabin noice, very less almost no body roll, very easy light clutch. Very fun to drive. More safer then Nexon because of all wheal disc brake and 6 air bags. The 17" allay wheel gives you more stable and confident drive. Besides XUV is heavier than Nexon. XUV300 is the best in this segment. Go for XUV 300. It has fun to drive strong punchy diesel engine. After a test drive with Nexon,Kia Seltos I purchased XUV 300W8(O) Deisal on 2021. I am really very happy. I don't know about petrol XUV 300. But deisal one is a fantastic car. I am getting 22km/l in the highway and 16 in city. XUV 300 Diseal is really fun to drive car. Super power 300Nm torque.

I have vxi plus AGS bought on 15 th July 2020 so far covered more than one lakh kilometres (101376)km. The average fuel economy is tank to tank is 23.56 km/litre. S.presso is a underrated car but in reality a superb car.

Good video 👍👍👍. I appreciate the reviewer's honesty and courage to take on well known big brands that come out with flimsy cars. It is well known that in India most cars would do badly in terms of safety. Our people are more worried about mileage and image than safety. Someone has written in the comments that Celerio is tested for safety at 60 kmph, and that is ~high speed on highways😂. People regularly drive at 80 kmph or more on highways. Add another 80 kmph for the opposite vehicle (though there is median in most highways), so the car should ideally be tested at 160 kmph or more. Almost all cars would fail. He has also written drive safely, avoid accidents! Nobody wants to get involved in accidents; by its very definition accident is something that is beyond our control. Our best bet is to drive at a reasonably slow speed like 70-80 kmph on highways, drive safe cars, and importantly, avoid driving after sunset.
Celerio is a very good car for the price.

Spresso Soper car... nalla power..automatic also super.. i bought ags top end.. this on dec 2023..drove 4.5k kms so far..
Only concern is mileage is not 22 or 24.. only 18 km...
On highway for long drive at avg 90kmph to 110kmph.. max speed i touched 160kmph..
Ivrm should be upgraded..stock ivrm is very bad and pain in eye on night drive..(i upgrate ivrm with old dzise model)
No light on boot..boot space good..
Safefy features and many automatic features on ags is mind blowing..not expected much features in spress.. it was really good..
Ovrm could have automatic folding option..
Back seat comfort is okay.. front seat so much space for leg.. i am 5.9 i can stretch my leg full..
Touch screen and info syatem is little slow sometime..
Over all this is compact car with better performance and easy to drive anywhere..
MG Comet - is purpose oriented 2 vehicle, it solves the Low budget, Low running cost, compact car parking and Good Automatic Knob system and best for city drive, I have completed 4k kilometers in 3 months

MG comet is purpose desined as second car. May not suite all, but practically solves issues in city. Hycross is good despite of low milage. Instead of spending 10L + Intrest on loan for hybrid, can save a lot for those who drive short and want a reliable and road presence car. Meredian far better than Fortuner in terms of features and handling.
