Even though it says not to use in the dishwasher, it is top shelf safe in the dishwasher. No issues....love my Hydrapeak!

What happens when you turn a Stanley upside down when the straw is in? I've heard that if you put a straw cap on both, the Stanley leaks more around the straw than the hydropeak

Why didn’t you do the spill test on the Stanley? 😢 didn’t show how they differ in that aspect

I'm drinking from my hydra peak as we speak 😂 it is more affordable and the same quality to me.

I think it depends where you got it my home town home goods was 16.99 but they marked it down to 14 due to small mark still better then spending over 40

Thank you for your review.. any tumbler will lead with the straw in
Side. Take the straw out and test if it still leaks.

Man! I was hoping you would test the hot and cold duration... I am debating which one to get. I see stanley at lowes for $35 and the hydropeak at homedepot for $25.
I have the lowe's brand "kobalt". alot cheaper around $15 but no handle. It does keep my coffee/tea hot for long.

I’ve never used a Stanley but when I used a flask for ice water, I loved Hydrapeak. You don’t even need ice if your drink is already cold, my cup kept water without ice very cold for over 12 hours when I’d go to bed. I’d replace the water every morning after a few sips but it keeps it cold! I just got the Hydrapeak thermos too and it kept my food hot longer than any other thermos brand I’ve used! Love Hydrapeak!

Does the hydropeak fit in the cup holder as well as the Stanley?? That is my main concern.

Why didn’t you do the spill test on the Stanley as well?

I should have! Ugh it would have been a HUGE clean up... the top isn't sealed and just has a gap opened... I've lost more drinks in my Stanley than I can count!

I was going to ask this smae question.I have both cups and personally I like the Hydrapeak better. Yes if flipped over it can leak but only from 1 opening the Stanley leaks from 2 and is quite messy. I wash mine by hand so It doesnt bother me about the non dishwasher safe. Hydrapeak is handsdown better in my opinion.

The Stanley leaks from all sides. My daughters got knocked over at work and it spilled out

Agreed!! Have you looked into the Simple Modern tumbler on Amazon? Ive tried them all and this is my favorite for the sole reason it doesn't spill
