I REMEMBER THIS (abt the tails) the normal slowbro/slowpokes tails are sweet, because they eat sweet food. Meanwhile the galarian slowbros/slowpokes tails are spicy because they eat some sort of seeds from a tree
My idea is just "Slowbro is a Shellder Evo that just got registered as a Slowpoke Evo because the scientists are still classifying off morphology and not geneaology."
Maybe it could be considered an alternate form of Shellder. In a world where fish can turn into sea serpents or octopus, Shellder becoming a different kind of shellfish isn't that crazy.
I wanna see a game were they make this shellder obtainable by having shellder use bite on a slowpoke making him evolved into a water/dark type with a signature ability wich makes all bite move have the absorb effect

I just figured it was actually a shellder evolution that only evolves via slowpoke’s sap, that was just classified as a slowpoke evolution

The shellders turn into Tabans, Taban was a beta Pokémon it was just the thing that was biting slowbro’s tail but without slowbro
If you look at the original sprites, there was a sprite that resembled the shell on slowbros tail. It was a separate pokemon that was removed.
Either way it's a good way to recycle a beta design of a Pokémon.
