Hi dude, I've got the exact same car as you and can see you may be starting to fall out of love with the 350z. The roof is an easy fix and if you are willing to send me your 5th bow motor I can change the brushes for you to get your roof working again. Far cheaper than a replacement motor! But before assuming it is the motor at fault please check the straps inside the roof to see if they are all still fine and not torn as that can stop the roof from fully opening. As someone who owns a '97 model KA, produced in 2008, this video makes me want a Street KA (although with a hard top, not a soft top). The practicality of the KA is insane due to how small it is, and the Street KA just looks absolutely adorable. Definitely something I'll be looking into in a couple of years. Still need 2 or 3 years no claims discount before I can afford to insure a convertible with a 1.6l engine though lol
I’ve got the street ka convertible and it’s a lovely little car and I found it a great buy if wanted to complain I’d say the visibility is bad out the back lol and the drinks holders are on the doors so no McDonald’s cups or costa coffee etc I’m afraid and have a torch handy as the inside light is rubbish but minor bugs really I’ve had cars that were far far worse I’d definitely expect some problems if I was to pay under a grand tho and £500 I’d of been happy if the roof worked let alone the engine 😂 but I find that under a grand you can get nice cars if you are lucky or know what you’re doing but don’t be surprised if you develop problems you can still have problems over a grand but me personally I’ve found that the cars seem to be a lot nicer and don’t need as much money spending on them I’m not a mechanic tho and just use common sense and luck - I look the car over and check the history and all that but it’s not hard to get one over on someone getting a second hand car or just basic wear and tear you can’t tell if something is about to go wrong with a ten minute check all the time

Pour 2.4 gallons of Ambrosia custard into the petrol tank, and then sprinkle Hundreds and Thousands into the air intake with filter removed, not only will it sort your issue out, you’ll gain an extra 18bhp and have rainbow coloured exhaust fumes
Access in the 350Z's engine bay is very poor, the loom is right in the way of the coils. After having already pulled them all out to change the plugs, and put them back again, I couldn't be bothered to do it all over again. So unplugging was the simplest way to get a quick answer.
I just bought a streetka for £850 in red the only thing I can find wrong with it is the heater control valve as the heaters always warm but £11 fixed that ! It’s bloody fantastic 65k years mot new tyres clutch and battery and serviced with receipt to prove … I’ll sell it to you for £1200 if you like 🤣🤣

My missus had one of these a good 10 years ago. I used to borrow it and embarrass my mates in their Zetec S Fiestas. Fun little car, bit fragile though, always having some issue or another.

The 350z came in Base, Enthusiast, Performance, Touring and Track, followed by a Nismo. Then the Roadster (not convertible as you say) came in Enthusiast and Touring. :)
little bit of advice, if your going to buy a sub £1000 car NEVER go to a little car dealer, you'll always get rough cars that are over priced, find a private seller with a car they've looked after who actually know the car Be prepared to go see 5 or 6 cars to find a nice one, the first car that the dealer refunded you was probably because they looked at it and found it was too dangerously rotten in the front suspension so scrapped it
Chloe’s ,or her parents, front door is extremely well kept and shiny and i liked that.It reminded me of a christmas advert. Its just missing some snow and a nice wreath!
I'm afraid I'm going to have to bust that myth. It's a V6 created by Nissan, which Nissan never really used. So Renault took it during their partnership and used it in a few models. After that Nissan decided it would be good in their cars.

FYI, you shouldn't unplug the coil packs, you should just lift them out/ lift away from the spark plug

Have you checked the MAF sensor on the 350z? Could just need a clean or replacement to solve the misfiring issue
But don't touch it. Just use contact cleaner on it

It was a part-ex that they sold 'privately' from their home, but still with the warranty etc.
It was a blessing as I could just get a refund.
