- I recently bought a 2004 Ford Street KA to run over the summer, but it is a car full of surprises. I expected a simple perfectly ok car to enjoy sunny days in, and then it turns out it is really good fun on a country road and costs pennys to run, nice with rising fuel costs.
Really a great design!
Got mine (stock blue) two years ago, I love this car.
Chassis is very good, fun and on small mountains roads.
Gearbox is quite a joy to play with, yet I would not have say no to a longer 4th and 5th ratio !
Keeping 2 and 3 as short as they are, for everyday fun, and giving more legroom for longer journey would have been heaven.
It makes me smile each time I'm behind the wheel, and is usually being smiled at too.
I cannot remember about any angry / jealous look or reaction from other drivers or pedestrians.
Ive just purchased one mate and only paid £400, amazing fun little car and i prefer driving it to my BMW I3 haha 😂 great video pal enjoy x
Great to see you like it. I was leading the design team at Ghia. We were amazed when Ford decided to build it. One day I’ll get one 😁

Absolutely stunning piece of design even though the original Ghia design was a bit more funky and less practical but sterling job from ford despite wee nigills!! Just bought one . Future classic?
I just bought a 2003 the only thing not good is water gets into foot well when it rains, but everything else works great especially as it 20 years old. Fun car!!

Off to look at a one-owner one later this week, I'll definitely buy it if it's as described. It looks new in the photos and has a full Fjord service history. Norwegian joke for you 😉
