Hey i just got onshapes free verion to learn with, thinking of upgrading once i got my business affairs in order. Can anyone tell me if i can actually use the exported DXF files for laser cutting etc. Or are they somehow copyrighted or limited? Thank you. Loving the experience so far.
Hello - DXF output is fully supported in all plans for Sheet Metal Laser/Waterjet output for example and for Drawings. Let us know if you'd like more info about our plans and the differences between them.
Seems that you must move away and then back to the point to start the arc - not efficient. Did you not state that "shift a" would work also? So, at the end of the line segment, could I just "shift a" and get the arc? I will try that. Overall these videos are very helpful coming from Fusion 360.
I was struggling with an example to work on until I run into this video. Such a great help!!
I used Inventor for many years and never quite got this feature. Not sure why. In Onshape, its now quite easy. More videos please, TTT
Awww yeah thanks JCR!
Nice tip. Are the drawing exercises at 01:21 available to everyone and if yes how could I access them?
