@@SpeedRacer1125 I don't think so, the monster is a much more complex character in the original novel than in most movies, I mean, he has full conversations with Frankenstein about being lonely and being in love and such

Next time I get caught by my coworkers for stealing coffee filters from the breakroom, I'm going to drop my left arm on the floor and say "Euuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu"

The monster in the “Curse of Frankenstein” 1957 starring Christopher Lee, looks a lot different. The monster portrayed here is from the Boris Karloff “Frankenstein”
I love this! Fun fact: Bill Hader also played a "Frankenstein Monster" in the SNL quick sketch movie parody, 'Firelight'. I do not know which came first, but just thought it would be cool to mention.
I'm sure both Bill and Jason are perfectly capable of the classic "Frankenstein" and "Dracula" voices, so for both of them to just do it in their own natural voices makes this all the funnier.
You know. Realistically Dracula is probably a much bigger problem than Frankenstein. I mean, big green just wants to be left alone and live a normal life. Bat man is the one who hunts people.
"I almost forgot about that spinal injury I had when I was 4 years old." You would think House would've immediately known about that judging from the bolts. Come on, House.
OMG I think Bill Hader as Frankenstein was the very first SNL video I had seen in my life!!!! 🥳🤯🤯🤯Almost forgot it if it didn’t jump on my recommendation page. Good one.

Seriously, Dude, get that fire away from me.
I like ur profile pic
I like how you said Frankenstein’s monster instead of Frankenstein
"Seriously dude, get that fire away from me" Cracked me up, when he gave him the look.
Absolutely, ha ha!
He says it so passive aggressively
Feels like it was improv'd
Isn’t in the original novel that Frankenstein’s monster hated or was scared of fire?
@@SpeedRacer1125 I don't think so, the monster is a much more complex character in the original novel than in most movies, I mean, he has full conversations with Frankenstein about being lonely and being in love and such
This is the only skit I've heard Bill Hader use his normal voice and he's playing a monster lol
Plot twist he is a monster
That isn’t his normal voice, he sounds like he’s doing an impression of Jason Sudeikis right now
@@ozu2647 um, no, that's what Bill hader sounds like.
Doc It just has a more sarcastic tone than his normal voice has, like hes leaning into the “blaaaaah” sounds
@@ozu2647 bro, that's how Bill hader sounds. Watch Barry and you'll see.
Jason sudekis as dracula just casually buffing his nails helped this. Between that and hader just being himself as the monster. Perfect
This is weirdly accurate since the monster was actually pretty well spoken.
Except they called the monster "Frankenstein".
The monster was also yellow, long haired, and 8 ft tall.
@LostSilhouette That did not happen in the book. It happens in a lot of other stories that incorporates the character.
@LostSilhouette That is 100% where it came from. One of the books the Monster read was Paradise Lost.
I know 😂
This reminds me so much of Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
Tis but a scratch
She turned me into a newt!
Except that it's Frankenstein based and it's american.
One of the mob people was definitely channeling Mr. Gumby.
It is truly reminiscent of it. Also a touch of Young Frankenstein.
Lol 😂 I love the way Dracula said “he said what?!” On 1:17 absolutely hilarious
House saying "wrong house" sounds hilarious
La Bella Damir sndudkshsjsisd
Do you watch DR house
I didn't even realize that was him until I saw your comment
Oh my god same I didn’t know it was him until I saw ur comment
ROADHOUSE
that too
How about, "The Curse of Bill Hader," everything he appears in seems to wind up in my save folder after I watch it.
Pozzy Thump the guy really elevated the comedy...it’s startling without him
“Now its a racial thing”
*NOTICEABLY UNCOMFORTABLE LAUGHTER*
It would be even more uncomfortable if it was this week (mid June 2020)!
It wasn’t uncomfortable
It was okay though because nobody with green skin was offended.
Can we just give props to the snl set designers? They always impress me!!!
The costumes are always fantastic, also.
that's their freaking job!
"Oh great thanks a lot I almost forgot that spinal injury was I four years old thanks for bringing back those rosey memories" 😆
Reminds me of that time I was bit by a wolf.
That "hey dude, get that fire away from me" sounded improvised and real at first
it prolly was

Definitely has a Monty Python or Mel Brooks feel to it.
Yeah i was thinking about holly grail and that scene with witch
YESSS I KNEW I WASN'T THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT THAT!!
Looney Tunes
Looney toons, Mel Brooks, Disney, Python, Tomska. So many feelings and senses.
If it was Mel Brooks there would be a hundred terrible puns.
"hey dude, get that fire away from me" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I think that was actually Bill Hader telling the actor to don't have a burning torch next to him for hazardous reasons. Not for funny dialogue.
I read that when he said that lol
@@somerandomchannel382 Yes I think that too. That was a bit abrupt and to be fair the fire was too close to him.
@@ammarabraham Frankenstein hates fire.

They did bring skin color into it
No, it’s the square head.
And just what race has naturally green skin lol ?
"Get that fire away from me" Subtle! 😂
This seems like a very British sketch concept, I wonder if Hugh Laurie pitched it.
I'd be shocked if he DIDN'T. 😂
Hader reminds me of Bugs Bunny in this skit.
You mean when he tells the crowd they took a wrong turn at Albuquerque?

the delivery in that one was amazing. freaking loved it
"WRONG HOUSE!"... screamed Dr. House!
I’m not sure if Hugh was trying to hide his accent or not but Bill’s “normal” voice surprised me too
Watching Hugh Laurie perform reminds me when he did his Bit of Fry and Laurie.
I love Bill Hader & Jason Sudeikis
Frankenstein created The Monster. Frankenstein was NOT the monster!
