There is a theory that in the brood there is always born a crafty one xenomorph - just in case of matriarch death, six would be propably first to be a next queen if theory is right that every xenomorph can become a queen.
I really liked playing as the alien in this game. The fact that they took the time to write at least some kind of story for it, give it some kind of personality, along with even little details they didn't have to do like seeing your own tail when you turn around were pretty cool.
I just pray that Fox and Warner Brothers can overcome their differences come to an agreement to add Aliens versus Predator 2 to Steam. That was one of my childhood games and I haven't been able to play it for like 17 years
I did all three on the highest difficulty, the Marine one on Nightmare literal fucking nightmare to do, if you want a tip aim for the limbs they let you line up headshots after you dismember.
My biggest tip for Marine is that melee and blocking is your best friend. Melee a xeno charging a heavy attack to intterrupt them and block their light swipes. The game feels far less claustrophobic when you get comfortable being close to xenos with just those two abilities
This game was awesome I even played it long after it’s prime. The fact that they didn’t make another one is a crime in its self. 6 was such an interesting xeno too. Ah good times 😁
And the two scientists were too distracted by what I’m calling Specimen five to notice Six going back into the body even though she was doing it right in front of them.
Aliens vs Predator is an amazing franchise that deserves a comeback. The story of the xenomorph subject six and the lore behind it deserves a full review. Can Xeno think? Do they socialize, what they do really? Imagine being the Xeno but you have the choice not to hunt anyone other than solving puzzles. There is so much potential in this series. I imagine a multi player with this approach where there are classes in the Predators, Aliens and Marines. The single player campaigns where amazing too. Those deserves a remake. This game deserves a full remake.
There’s something so satisfying about listening to the voice com go from “oh it’s just a silly xenomorph, nobody panic” to “OMFG THEY’RE GONNA MURDER ALL OF US GET US THE ARMY”
Everything from the crawling at multiple angles to stabbing light sources to the cloudy gray vision of everything either inanimate or dead is exactly like the game "The Darkness". I love it.
I LOVED this game as a kid. Why can't they make a sequel? Maybe get to play as a Queen xenomorph or have the marines NOT have scripted deaths and actually survive.
Stalking my unsuspecting victims as the Xeno was truly enjoyable. I would have liked to use the tail as a noose though. Being able to smash lights was a cool trick. Also being able to decoy victims through hissing was very useful. The Colonial Marine was pretty good but the Predator was dire.
I really loved this game. It was so fun to play. I even liked the multiplayer. It was so fun having a small 3 way faction fight. I'll never forget my first time playing as a Marine in multiplayer it was so tense, but super fun when people had mics laughing and having fun but being scared at the same time against player aliens and predators.
Six is perfect and clever girl she showed me deeper light inside her race Xenomorphs are not evil they are forced to fight against those trying to use as weapon and hunt them for sport
Not really. I mean the sentiment is great but that's not the case at all. Xenomorphs are the ultimate killing machines. And they aren't evil in the sense that they don't do anything out of malice, hate or anything of that sort. In the end they fight, kill and breed by instinct. They're animals, highly intelligent animals but animals none the less.

My favourite game to date. It was on the ps3 and the story was so good, three different campaigns. Marine, Alien and then predator. The multiplayer was insane with so many game modes. My favourite was infection where it starts off with one Alien or predator and they have to kill the Marines which make more. TDM was really good, getting hordes of Aliens climbing the ceiling or walls. They need to remaster this. 10/10
I feel like they could've just grabbed it quick and stuffed it into a container when it popped out of the guy's mouth. Probably would've saved them some trouble.
Yeah I'm pretty sure the chest burster variants are when they're most vulnerable and can't actually kill anything. Really didn't get why they panicked.

@@SadenIsWatchin They like snakes with razorsharp teeth. So... you´d get maimed pretty hard if one gets it´s teeth on you, plus chestbursters are quite fast for their size so it slipping away is to great of a risk

The tutorial being a test to see if the xenomorph will follow commands is incredibly smart, and perfect foreshadows the rest of the campaign about being a troublemaker
Playing the alien was the best. Like a true bug all surfaces were game. The Predator was way over powered but fun to kill. The Colonial Marines were fun too but don’t lose your motion tracker otherwise you’ll never see it coming.
I think it’s because humans are what create the normal xenomorphs. If they had more hosts like say animals then maybe they wouldn’t use humans. They probably couldn’t get animals on the planet so they had to use humans as the source to create. I think it was explained a bit more in one of the films but I forget which one.
Weyland Yutani wanted bioweapons that they believed they could break and control as a bioweapon. The Warrior and drone class Xeno's they get from human hosts had a higher level intelligence as evidenced by Six.
For use as a bioweapon it would almost make more sense to have gone with a "lower" lifeform like a canine that can be trained more reliably because while humans can they have a greater capacity to turn on their masters. No real point using a weapon that will tear apart a space stations staff if you then need to destroy it when the weapon stops obeying commands. As an actual weapon you'd be more effective smuggling in some eggs or implanted victims and waiting.
@@agentburningbutters3655 no the alien embryo creates a sac of some sort that feeds off it's host like a cancerous tumor and any attempt without the proper tools could cause the host to die. It literally takes the DNA of it's host and uses it to shape it's form.
So many little things got right. Take note of the motion tracker pings from the android soldier? they only go off when you're moving. All the rules apply at all times.

I loved playing as the Xeno but I was pissed off that it ended with Six becoming the queen. They could have kept the story going a little longer, give us a taste of being a Queen Xenomorph. To be honest, all the stories were a little short but I enjoyed what there was.

Not only loved the 3 team element, but infection or what ever where if you die you become a xeno was so fun. pred hunt was fire, and i probably made it like 5 hrs into horde with randoms. random youtube comment wont generate no steam but fuck please a remaster

I’m guessing they were electromagnetic locks or something as they are meant to come off now again, so when the power came off the magnetism did too and Six was strong enough to break free before emergency power reactivated them
This game was so much fun. They really remake this, i remember when i spend hours grinden in multiplayer just to get the praetorian skin. Not to forgot the story missions on nightmare mode.. marine was way to hard in that.

I think the scientists freaked out way too much here. As long as they keep the head restrained when it comes out, you should be fine.
