- Hey Everyone, so I have had alot of people ask me questions about the the ASVAB & PICAT, so I wanted to include some details regarding the tests. Feel free to message me if you have any questions or concerns!

To anyone worried about the picat/ASVAB Just breathe and take your time it's not that hard , I suck at math and passed all I did was study , if you study you will do fine I used the *Kaplin 2018-2019 asvab study guide* it broke down everything to do with the math portion, you got this!

Is the confirmation test the same questions as the PiCAT ?
Asha Danielle some of the questions were the same. There were also some that were generally the same but just structured differently. You should pass the confirmation with ease as long as you pass the picat without recieving any outside help.

Can you improve your score on the asvab conformation test from the PCAT. I got a 92 and would like to at least get a 95. I'm shooting to be a pilot in the navy and would appreciate anyone that can help. Thank you
Your picat score is your score I believe.
I took the ASVAB my line scores were not enough so my recruiter told me to just take the picat and do my verification
Are there alot of questions on electronics/mechanical comprehensio, taking the Picat tommorow and those areas are where i struggle

No i believe you can only take it once. Only option after that would be to take the asvab test
If you take the ASVAB at MEPS, do they still have you take the Verification Test?
I made a 38 on the Picat I got 1 month to study I score higher on math and mechanical some paragraph comprehension study study study U.S.M.C 2021 🤘🏽🇺🇸❤️

Reshaundra Dixon go to quizlet and search PiCAT/asvab study for a week.. you’ll pass both test
Just continue studying until you feel comfortable. Even if you dont do as well, you can always retake it again.

Is the picat and ASVAB same questions? One is timed and one isn’t ?
Pi-Cat is just Practice test in your recruiter office and the actual ASVAB is at MEPs and you finally picked your career. Depending on your Scores
I just took the picat verification test yesterday and I’m not happy with my score. I wanted to make at least a 75 and but made a 65 on both test. I’m wanting to retake it. Will I be retaking the picat at home and the verification test or just the verification portion of it
I would speak to your recruiter about it but I'm pretty sure you will have to take both the PICAT and verification test. Plus I believe you have to wait up to a few years to retake it..
You can only take the PICAT once. If you want to retest it will be the ASVAB.

Reshaundra Dixon yes it can be taken at a recruiters office but you can also take it from home on a personal computer.

How did you stay motivated to study?
Gail Guerra i can’t tell you how to stay motivated. That comes from within yourself. I would however recommend making a study schedule detailing the time and days of the week you are going to use to study.
@@MrCarter85 I didn't think about making a study scheduled. I'd just studied whenever I remember to. How did you start a scheduled? Did you have a calendar or did you put reminders on your phone? I really need help. I don't know where or how to start.
@@gailguerra1791 What I am doing right now is I am going to CVS to purchase one of those white boards that you can stick to your wall or fridge. Pertaining my current work schedule, I will write down on that board with a non-permanent marker the days and hours I plan to study for. You can find them at CVS in their "Stationary" department (where all of their useful home materials are located: pencils, stapler, computer ink, notebooks, etc). I am in the gathering of info stage right now. I believe Dollar General/Tree sells them as well. I don't recommend a phone because of the screen (that damages eyes over time) and radiation.
Gail Guerra yes i would highly recommend making a study schedule or setting reminders on your phone. Depending on how busy you are, that could be very helpful. If you dont think you will be disciplined enough to study then making a study schedule to follow by will definitely be helpful for you.
@@RizzlyricistGaming thank you for your advice. I got a planner and I didn't realize how much I do in a day. But I have put time an hour hour before bedtime to study

I studied for two days straight really hard and I just took the test last night and I scored a 51 so I need to take the conformation test now.

@@invadingspace8891 It had "cat asvab" on the top right but it wasnt timed and my recruiter told me it was the Picat , i go thursday to verify
