The significance in 2004 was the brief Kurt Warner period ended the following week against Arizona and the Eli Manning era began the following week. The 2006 Giants were a bigger disappointment starting 6-2 and then going 2-6 to lose to Philly in the playoffs. I just wonder what might have happened if Tiki didn't announce his retirement in the middle of the season. It was selfish and a huge distraction to the team. I remember everyone wanted Tom Coughlin fired after the year including me but 2007 came together and you know the rest.
