I don’t get why people who are digital owners think physical is so bad; if you own a physical copy it’ll work for a good 15+ years as my ps2 games still work and by then whatever you paid for it it’s been worth it after it stops working. I understand digital is convenient but there’s pros and cons to both
Even things like COD and FIFA are worth buying physically, usually cheaper than the digital price and by the time you’re bored they will still have trade in value. MW2 still trades in for £25 a year after release
If some helpful individual edit all digital game store fronts so that any instance of the words buy or purchase were correctly replaced with the word RENT then everyone would immediately what they're getting into before they part with their cash.
Id started collecting 360 games this year while they were in that "inexpensive sweet spot" but ive noticed CEX seem to have less stock for 360 games recently.
I've been collecting physical PS3 since 2020 and currently have 1153 titles. Getting tougher to find stuff in CEX now as not many stores get those games traded in it seems. Vinted has been pretty good to pick some stuff up though.
Surely if the games have been there for years and people haven't bought them, then that's not a big deal. People should be reviewing the store between now and 2024 for games they want digitally and just buy them. I think the movie and tv industry is way worse than this. There's loads of TV shows n movies which you can't get on digital or find easily on a dvd/blu.
Yet there are some games you may own on 360 but can’t download anymore from download history, 2 of note are Earthworm Jim HD and Magic The Gathering Dual of the Planeswalker
Whilst having physical media is great, the amount of games getting day 1 patches is growing massively. These may be small fixes or game breaking bugs. So, we'll always need that digital front to make sure a game is running as it should. On the other hand, some developers are moving to digital only, such as Remedy with Alan Wake 2. I would love to own that game physically, so hopefully they'll change their mind.
They will. I could almost bet money it will drop. Doesn't make sense why they would make digital only. Resident evil tried that and didn't work out 2 well. Hated those episodes. Don't nobody wanna wait.
@@solbadguy9439 at least I think they did hang on let me check. Yes they did they discontinued the backwards compatibility program toward the end of 2021
I will be keeping an eye out for the Capcom Digital Collection and Dreamcast Collection (noticed Space Channel 5 part 2 on your list...with the likeness of Michael Jackson could make it difficult to move it over ) XBOX 360 did release a lot of Live Arcade games physically on disc so might be worth looking into - and GOTY editions with DLC on disc might become more sought after.
I just bought alot of 360 games off ebay and some Original Xbox games like Prince of Persia Warrior Within, and The Two Thrones, Jaws Unleashed and found afew at thrift store which are Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End, and Jeopardy for 360
Im glad it is shutting down, here in America black ops 2 digital is $49.99 😅 like, seriously? This is an old game, this is why digital should never exist because the price hardly goes down and physical is cheaper than digital
From what I heard physical copies are no different than digital. You pop the disc in and it’s forced you to download the game online or you can’t play it. Thought?
Slightly unrelated but still the same in principle. I've been collecting anime on Blu-Ray. Some of them aren't on any streaming platform and it's possible that useless they decide to pickup the distribution rights they could be lost media. Even if they do pickup the rights, it might only be for a couple of years and then that film you 'purchased' isn't there anymore.
What you think about updates for disc version? Most of them doesn’t work without. Maybe in the future the updates are not available anymore for downloads from the server.
Colonial marines is totally crap I put my thoughts about it on twitter when it first came out and got asked to remove it by a developer 😂 What happened to being able to review a game for yourself 🤔
@@anthonygotham not what I'm saying...if I buy a game digital or physical I should still be able to play it but because of the issues with characters in the game anyone who had a digital copy no longer has it , it's just go from my console
@@BaNg72983 It's weird. You should be able to play the game or its content. For instance, Friday the 13th is being taken off Steam in December because of a licensing problem. But we can still get the content even after the game is gone from Steam.

TVM gets aroused by CEX credit
He's a CeX addict.
Physical forever

That PS2 being gone is the end of an era 😢
Because games nowadays aren’t all that its cracked out to be, in simple words

I already have my regrets about the 3ds store. Let’s make sure I won’t regret missing out on this one
Id started collecting 360 games this year while they were in that "inexpensive sweet spot" but ive noticed CEX seem to have less stock for 360 games recently.
Totally agree. CEX near me used to have hundreds and hundreds of games, they’ve probably got about 100 now!

PS5 games are actually more digital than anything, when you're installing the game, and disconnect, you'll notice it stops installing.

I see recently at CEX Xbox 360 games are going up, almost nothing is below £6

This is Microsoft basically slowly killing the Xbox 360

I’m not collecting for any particular console, I’m doing game series, ie resident evil, silent hill, Pokemon etc
So monetary gain
First, keep the videos going bro, love the content
I always buy the disc visions of games

Emulators are good these days, for digital backups only of course...
@TVM do u have a full list of games that will be leaving the 360 store next july?
plus how many of them are discs?
Which Kane and lynch were you looking for?
If the server goes dead can u still play cod campaign
Only game i called about was Alan wake cause u couldn't get it on PlayStation but now that has all changed.

I all thses games on rare replay collection and also own golden eye it included rare replay collection
Example - if you got a digital copy of wwe 2k15 on xbox you can no longer play it because of licensing issues .
What is "licensing issues" ?
@@anthonygotham think it was for the playable terminator character and few others . I contacted xbox and that's what they told me
@DrGreenThumb176 So, the licensing issue is bad on fighting games and not on other games like fps

Why bother collecting stuff. You will die one day and leave it all behind 😂
True but you can also sell it in 15 years and get a huge return on it and enjoy your old age.
