1-1 COACHING INFORMATION: GENERAL INFO, STRUCTURE, PRICING
Hey everyone! In addition to creating deep dive RUclips videos relating to personal growth/spirituality, I am also a coach.
For those who are interested in applying aspects of what I talk about in my videos/writings into your life, my coaching program offers a safe, intimate, and highly structured container designed to develop capabilities uniquely tailored to you that will enable you to live a more empowered, free, authentic, blissful, and purposeful existence.
Know that what I offer is NOT therapy. My coaching is not healing-focused, it is primarily growth-focused (of course “healing” can happen as a byproduct of our work together), therefore it is mandatory that you are in a state of sound mind that allows you to fully devote your consciousness to the required 6-8 hours of work per week that includes our 1-1 calls, readings, practices, and community calls.
As the coach, my job is to help you foster developmental capacities that will serve you in the long-term, enabling you to live the life of your deepest calling. Your soulcalling.
Together, we will get crystal clear on what is authentic, real, and true to you.
Together, we will cut through the bullshit, your limiting beliefs, patterns of avoidance, denial, and repression holding you back from your potential.
Together, we will create an actionable roadmap towards reaching your goals, equipping you with practices, tools, strategies, and resources to help you live at your edge, leading you towards the life you are seeking.
My coaching is for people who:
    1. have a deep desire to become the most you can become for yourself, for others, and for the world.
    2. want to develop a potent sense of purpose, meaning, and direction in your life.
    3. are seeking long-term structural transformation, rather than a quick fix.
    4. desire to discover, become, and embody your most authentic self
    5. are open-minded and non-ideological
    6. are a life-long learner
    7. seek growth in a simple, calm, fun, and lighthearted way (you don't take yourself too seriously, this is fun!)
    Details about my coaching:
    1. 60 minute, 1 on 1 call once every 2 weeks (hosted on Zoom)
    2. Access to my phone number, can message me anytime (same day response)
    3. exercises specifically designed to foster your unique developmental path
    4. requires approximately 5-7 hours per week of your time (calls, exercises, etc.)
    5. Bonus resources included (my book list, contemplation worksheets, etc.)
Note: My coaching is a significant financial investment. You must be willing and ready to invest in yourself if you want to work with me.
    Pricing:
    3 months (7 sessions) $777 USD
    6 months (13 sessions): $1,222 USD
We will discuss the rest in the call. Look forward to seeing you there!

    Wyeth

I've been a Ken Wilber fan for nearly 30 years. I have two precautions for vertical development models. 1. It's when the chips are down that you really know where you're at functionally. Understanding 2nd tier doesn't mean you're at 2nd tier.
    2. Greed, vanity, and envy will be right beside you all the way up the spiral.

Meditation toward "higher attainment" is a recipe for ego inflation. It's the shadow of the Magician archetype. Ken was not immune to inflation either. A Magician Inflation warning should accompany any ascending path practice. Prayer is less susceptible to ego inflation than meditation, imo.

    • @Frederer59
      @Frederer59 Месяц назад

Having had a deeply frightening adverse reaction during a meditation retreat 40 years ago, I'm certain that prayer is better than meditation. Prayer starts at the heart Chakra (4) and goes upward. Meditation can too easily take us down into the dungeon of the subhuman brain. There's nothing to be learned there. Given a choice between Jung and Bach, I'll take Bach. Glory to God, whose power working within us can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine. Glory to God from generation to generation through Christ our Lord. Amen.

@@Frederer59 Denial is denial is denial. The lower chakras are the receptacles of all of your fears. It's where they reside and subconsciously control your life. Avoiding that part of your psyche will inhibit any heart/ wisdom/ crown development. Avoidance of fear is not the same as freedom of fear. Bringing the light of truth to them is very uncomfortable and can be very frightening, but perserverance pays off eventually.

I enjoyed your summary. it made me want to read the books now. While gaining some awareness of the stages might be a feature of late post modern, early integral, i very much doubt, that transcendence of ego, can be done at will. Given so much of our experience is unconscious, biologically, it has to be, other wise it would overwhelm the resources that our mind possesses. Something all on this path need to factor is spiritual bypassing, the tendency to reach beyond collaboration and relating to get to more cosmic worldviews. I think that mastering relationships is the key to move beyond dependence / attachment. We tend to try to skip that work because of our childhood trauma. But that trauma is part of this journey, and post traumatic growth is a thing.

Take some 5-MeO and you'll more than likely transcend ego at will. Well, up until the point of consumption. After that you just dissolve into infinity. It's short lived relative to time, but it leaves a massive imprint!
Spiritual bypassing is also huge. When spirituality disconnects us from what really matters.

My issue with this model is that it is too simplistic on the aspect of social evolution. For example, no borders and no division only makes sense if everyone, or at least most people, are in the same spiritual page. Otherwise you mix people and create conflicts that probably lower the evolution. Part of the raise in social conflicts these last years is precisely this rush to make people think some way without actually everyone understanding it the same way.

  • @balazsfoldes4700
    @balazsfoldes4700 3 месяца назад +4

I'd say a big reason the world is coming apart at the seams right now is we tried to go from a modern society underpinned by a traditional framework to a post-modern society, and social constructionist thinking says there is no actual objective truth. Post modernity is inherently self-destructive and unstable because younger people (who have not moved up the developmental "ladder") and the society regresses to the self-protective stage, because people get stuck at that level. If your societal standard isn't "Here are the rules and here's what you have to do", instead, "the rules don't matter, and anyone imposing any rule on you is a backwards thinking bigot", people at the self protecting stage will go: "Okay, I'll just bend society's rules to my advantage, then".
When I moved into the post-modern stage, it was very confusing and disorienting, it wasn't very pleasant. I felt like there was no stable ground under my feet, and to me, it looks like the same is happening in society. Trust is breaking down.
So while it's fair to say liberals are more developped than conservatives on a personal level, it's also fair to say conservatives build more functional societies (because society is a very complex system that needs a lot of cooperation to maintain, and having very harsh, strict rules that regulate every aspect of it makes it's operation more smooth - at the expense of personal freedom). It's also important to keep in mind that societal rules contain a lot of information about human nature and the world itself, so dismissing them as "backwards thinking" isn't always helpful.
It's why I think having a healthy balance of liberal and conservative people in a society is important, because it's mimicking the integral level on a societal scale. We need to integrate our different level of thinking into a coherent personality, and we need to integrate our lower liberal and conservative people into a coherent society.

    • @lordrudolph1037

I think that to integrate society each person must do the work. A big part of the work is self awareness. With self awareness beliefs shift. Beliefs like liberals are more developed on a personal level than conservatives, etc. is not only inaccurate, but divisive even if it was true. Creating some mental map of hierarchical categories isn’t that helpful overall, especially when the analysis is inaccurate, which it usually is. I would argue that a big problem today is post modernists think they’re smarter and more evolved that everyone else, and you’re right, this is self destructive. To make things worse, they lack the humility to consider they might be wrong. All the while there are those who see liberals exemplifying the Dunning Kruger effect - they know enough information to think they’re right, but not enough information to know they’re wrong.
Wilber was a genius at a meta book report that includes charts, etc. but he’s been horrible at accurately classifying individual people and groups of people in them. Einstein was a genius at discovering ways to language the nature of our universe, i.e., E =mc squared, yet he died while still trying to work out the grand unification theory using only gravity and electromagnetism. He purposely left out the strong and weak nuclear forces, which he helped find, because his emotions didn’t allow him to. My point is, just because someone discovers something doesn’t mean they know how to use it or apply it, or really understand it fully.
If liberals were more developed, then where is the “include” in the transcend and include model? Point out to me when a group of liberals looked at someone wearing a maga hat and collectively smiled, had warm empathy feelings, and gave a friendly wave of inclusion. And if they were more developed, why wouldn’t they be better at developing “functional “societies” as you say? It’s a rhetorical question by the way. I’m pointing out that that reasoning isn’t reasonable. You’re basically saying that liberals are more developed personally, but as a group it’s self destructive and not as good at creating functional societies. What?
Self awareness brother. And humility. I agree that these are more important things to think about.

I applaud @balazsfoldes' comment! My understanding of Ken Wilber is that integration lags the zeitgeist or whatever, by two stages, because what was rejected by the new becomes disarmed of its threats and has room to become rehabilitated and operate in harmony with the other stages. Sadly, humans have progressed faster so it appears as if there are several previous stages which seem (or are, I'm not sure) very threatening. We could well, with the Hegelian historians, call this the reaction. As I type this the 2024 American election looms and I was totaling up the numbers. I think 10% of modernists could be counted as part of the reaction, perhaps against late stage capitalism, perhaps wanting whatever stage thinking, wrongly that it is human evolution. Although this excellent presentation by Sterling makes sense to very widely read people, those with more common narrow advanced degrees might rely on older progressions emphasizing technical advance, such as AI. I think there may be a sense where this Gebserian/Wilberian schema seems inevitable, but perhaps only in terms of ALREADY BEING VERY WELL INTEGRATED AND LOGICAL. I suspect (not being very advanced) one must trust that, in the aggregate, human affairs tend toward integration with the highest-functioning society. It may turn out that this, as well as hosting more integral people, retains well-integrated conservatives and traditionalists, whose beliefs are reserved for their private personal development.

All great points. I’d like to add that I find it very interesting that Marxism was essentially an attempt to deconstruct the previous tiers, in order to make way for the post-modern, but in doing so, communists find themselves again and again having to resort to rudimentary means to achieve their objective. The Soviet Union, for example, was incredibly nationalist, and racist, along with modern day North Korea and China. They deconstructed morality, religion, and social class, and brought these concepts into the post-modern, but race, gender, and nationality were largely left in second tier. That is why in the West the last 50 years there has been this obsession over deconstructing race, gender, and nationalism, within the confines of a neo-liberal post-modern world order. What’s also interesting is that any nation or group of people can leverage the strengths of lower tier stages, such as the organization and mass united action that can be achieved by a highly nationalist country, like China for example, against the fragmented and chaotic individualism in the West. Israel is also a very unique example of a country that is aligned with the West, and outwardly supportive of post-modernism for everyone else, but promote militantly racist and nationalistic policies for themselves. I think the answer is population reduction while simultaneously preserving the technologies that allow humans the free time to ponder higher tier concepts. The more people work from home, and have the intellectual space to think about these things, the faster people can move up the ladder. Reduction in the competition over resources will also help ease the burden on the individual. Right now, it seems the strategy is to use mass immigration to the west for one last massive push in productive capacity, until AI and automation can take the reins and decrease scarcity to the point where most human beings can escape poverty. It’s a delicate dance, but I think we can avoid annihilation until then. The only question is what happens when an endeavoring nationalistic country attempts to use drones or AI to their advantage, at the expense of everyone else? That must be prevented, and will likely be the cause of the next major global conflagration.

32:00 the growth of humans comes in a form of language, the key to our unconscious mapping through our senses. This change the growth is understanding currently the filler words justifications which was example before the 32: 00 mark was the use of the word need. Need is an obligation. Part of the upgrading of our programming is adding action replacing just a singular obligation purpose. Instead of the predicting and being disappointed during the process and at the end. We then adjust the language add an hypothesis, slow down adding reasoning, and take things observe all and with our senses integrating the processes. In other words checking out the adjectives that are commonly used as justification to go a directions will be requiring a new rhetoric and therefore new integrations.

a bit of advice stay out of politics in conversations about consciousness. Conservatism focuses on the Process of Development. Your own words " You have to go through every stage and you cant skip." Liberalism places its focus on the end result. They care less about the process and want to get everybody to that end. At the inception of tier 2 you realize that those levers in society require each other. You realize that until this point you focused on either Process, or Vision. Intragal unites the lower tiers rather than thinking that you have evolved. You start to understand that each of these elements simply becomes more intrinsic. You cant eliminate any lower tier or you become flawed in the process of thinking. Creating that flaw in process will is how you lead to deconstructionism. You think that if you destroy something bad in the world then thats great. Yet process shows that if you remove something, something else fills its place.
So no matter how much a visionary screams about loftier goals, if they have no path to that goal its irrelevant. you can state " Everybody should have a million dollars its their Right" yet no matter how much you scream that unless you take action to make that happen. Mainly creating a sustainable resource to ensure that the million dollars is made and can be replicated to sustain the distribution. It wont happen. then you have to educate those that have never had a million dollars about what to do with a million dollars so that they are not just as bad if not worse off before you gave them that million on investments. Then you have to start implementing regulations because you know some might spend that million on drugs and guns. Oh no now you need to constuct another department to regulate the spending of those funds because people cant be trusted to do it correctly. Oh well you should most likely just retain the money and allow people to submit requests. Oh now you need another department to ensure that its accounted right, oh and another to ensure those are not being biased, at least 20 dei agents and ESG to ensure ANTI-X x= what ever cause you assume is worthy.
In summery from the example the rest of it doesnt matter if you can not create the base resources. Your percentages seem correct though realize that its people not Party.

Awesome video, you just earned a subscriber! I do think categorizing all progressives as post-modernity thinkers is an oversimplification. I'm saying that as someone who was a relentless climate activist in college. I definitely fit the mold of a traditional thinker who had a rigid world view, I was very intolerant to opposing views. As I've grown consciously, I've realized that conservatism vs progressivism is more about where one places their values rather than what level of consciousness one is at. Talk to an intelligent conservative, agree with them or not you'll come away thinking they are beyond a traditional or even modernist thinker. There are universal truths such as the physical laws that govern us. But societal issues are filled with so much nuance that don't fit into simple equations, the human mind is not capable of discerning an absolute truth. We can only hope to be objective with the limited information given to us through our life experiences and pursuits. We can strive to be objective by raising our level of consciousness.

the Hindu text ashtavakra gita talks about something like this
Advaita (Non-dualism): The Gita asserts that the individual self (Atman) and the ultimate reality (Brahman) are one and the same. It teaches that there is no real distinction between the self and the universe.
Self-Realization: It encourages immediate recognition of one's true self as pure consciousness, beyond body, mind, and ego. This realization leads to liberation from suffering.
Detachment and Freedom: The Gita emphasizes that liberation comes not through actions, but through detachment from worldly concerns and the realization of one’s own eternal, unaffected nature.
Illusion (Maya): The world is often described as illusory or transient. One must see beyond this illusion to understand the deeper truth.
Spontaneity and Simplicity: Ashtavakra advocates for a spontaneous, natural approach to life. There is no need for complex rituals or practices to attain wisdom-realization is instantaneous when one drops attachment and sees reality as it is.

These levels are good and I’m still learning the models. One observation is that higher levels are less useful or even dangerous without adequate development of expertise/knowledge and skills from lower levels.
Where does skepticism develop? Where do we grapple with and defeat the dishonesty or errors of others? “Choose love” is an example of the temptation to oversimplify. All these levels are useful and should be embraced when appropriate - eg ego is very useful when exercising, cosmic consciousness can lead to laziness.
Anyway don’t take this as negativity, rather the video is good enough to be worth critique 🫶🏻😄

Life is an ego trip, and with ego comes fear. Our level of awareness, our biases, our experiences, among other things, determine the way we respond to the fear that defends our ego. Some of those responses present as fight-or-flight responses that only seek to diminish fear in the short-term. For example, if a man chases you with a knife, you make a quick decision to either fight or run to eliminate the immediate threat. Some present as more sophisticated fight-or-fight responses that seek to conquer fears in the longer-term. For example, if you find yourself constantly getting chased by someone with a knife, you might learn some self-defense skills or get a better job to move to a better neighborhood. In essence, the short-term fight-or-fight responses lead to more sophisticated fight-or-fight responses. These responses are characterized by division and competition between individuals or groups, and they don't address the motivations that caused the man with the knife to chase you.
And then there are responses that present as empathy and compassion. In my mind these responses are almost always preferable. These responses consider the long-term and are characterized by unity and cooperation among individuals and groups. For example, instead of solely relying on a better job and a safer neighborhood to save you from the man with the knife, you make an attempt to understand and change the material conditions that caused the person to chase you with the knife.
It's my belief that the mutually assured destruction caused by the fight-or-fight responses leads to a need for empathetic, compassionate responses. In essence, mutually assured destruction leads to mutually assured empathy. Ignoring the catalysts that create the violent men with knives leads to lots of violent men with knives. That problem becomes insurmountable without empathy and compassion, and eventually we all become violent men with knives to protect our ego.
I should also add that it's important to point out that I didn't make any mention of our fear responses to non-human threats. Some of those threats are unavoidable. For example, if two back-to-back hurricanes destroy the southeast of the US, the best we can do is run in the short-term. To avoid homelessness and the accompanying crime that likely stems from those hurricanes, we must choose empathy and compassion to help the hurricane victims. But if we remain entrenched in human vs human battles, the human vs environment battles become even more problematic.

I can answer your first question.
There's this thing in the universe called duality. It's the yin yang. Expecting everyone to be peaceful happy and loving is quite damaging.
If everybody was peaceful happy and loving then nobody would be peaceful happy or loving because in order to be any one of those things there has to be an opposite end of the spectrum to compare it to and hold it higher than.

How do you justify putting divisive and separatist groups in "post-modern", a supposedly Community stage.

    • @dawidkasza4809
      @dawidkasza4809 3 месяца назад

Hunger is a very low level state but we all spend some of our day entirely prompted by it. Achieving the higher consciousness levels is like exercise, just because you get super ripped (sometimes with drugs- a clean parallel with drug induced ego death) doesn't mean you stay at that level and never go back, you are always being pulled back by entropy or time.
So perhaps these divisive and separatist groups of individuals simply want to pull back to the more representative state they usually experience (maybe mastery within a group) using the enlightenment they experience from these post-modern (post-median) experiences

So the key is understanding recognizing there is an ego but its desires (or other deep seeds) are not necessary?
Seems simple from where I'm sitting. Am I enlightened then? 😈That's it? Seems both lame and awesome.
I wasn't always like this... remembering the experiences that got me here are something special.
My last desire I held onto deeply was to help others and I now suppose that isn't necessary either. I do think I have a "simple" framework of enlightenment but it's going to rely on the understanding of gods and certain myths.
I think it's possible many ancient civilizations were enlightened for a period of time or at least behaved as if they were and the nature of it is it's easy to lose cause one cannot force transcendence. People will choose to just exist.

Power and the sense of superiority (resulting in sexism, racism) are infantile needs in individuals at lower stages. We should not approach fulfilling these needs with respect but set clear boundaries. From my perspective, these individuals are like small, boundary-less, egoistic children rooted in power. Since they, as members of a certain group, inherently possess more power from birth, they are unwilling to let it go. I see the insufficient setting of boundaries towards these groups more as a problem at the 'green' stage rather than the other way around. Starting from the 'green' stage onward, I see genuine understanding that people are in different stages, and a significant portion of them needs clear boundaries; otherwise, their egoism will quickly contribute to the decline of society. The speed of this decline and need for boudnaries appears differently in each social group, as each group is differently intensively threatened by the toxicity of lower layers. If the egos of individuals in lower stages are hurt due to the fear of losing power, I wouldn't be concerned. In my view, a more conscientious approach is to simply disregard their egos fearing the loss of power over others. This is because, historically, humanity has often done the exact opposite. Trust me, these kinds of people don't give a care about ego development; they believe they are fully developed and mature, and they don't question much the legitimacy of their power and superiority. Also its hard to change their brains in later age...
