I know this is a cart pusher at Walmart but I just wanted to say I’ve been working as a loader “which is what we are called at lowes” for almost 3 years and this job can sometimes be overwhelming and frustrating we load stuff in customers vehicles if needed make sure the parking lot is clean and trash free we gather and push shopping carts and since we are a warehouse store we have to gather these carts that are blue too we sometimes get told to do stuff inside the store and the one thing that bugs me the most is being by myself while doing all that we don’t have a cart machine “would be nice to use one though” we are usually mostly busy on the weekends and it’s pretty chill for the week but I gotta say the lowes I work at they take care of us if we need help getting carts they will send backup to help you gather them they make sure you are staying hydrated in the heat take breaks in the air conditioning love the management team here
I did this for 3 days. On my second day, I was left outside for 3 hours to cover both entrances and the whole parking lot. It’s nice when you have help or got one person on either side. It was so stressful but the other cart pusher dude was nice and cool! But I got so much respect for cart pushers. It’s not easy especially when you’re alone and it’s busy.

In my store, it gets pretty busy and we don’t have a cart pusher machine so i have to push it all manually…I live in Canada so i have to do it in -20°C (-4°F) weather
