The SCV's attack is classified as "ranged," even though it is shorter than most melee attacks at just 10 px (cf. 32 px for probe or drone, 25 px for ultra, 15 px for zergling, zealot, or DT, 10 px for SCV or spider mine, 3 px for scourge or infested terran, 2 px for broodling). FWIW, doing a "moving attack" with an SCV is not strictly impossible, but it is only marginally useful. It actually works the same way for SCVs as it does for drones and probes, but because their range is so short, it's harder to perform and only minimally effective. SCVs do attack with a lower cooldown than drones and probes to make up for this disadvantage, but that never comes into play in micro battles.
I'm more of a SC2/GSL viewer but man, this is one of if not the best Bo7 series I have ever seen. Trading blows, trading wins, with no one gaining a clear lead over the other until the very last moments of the final game. Plus it's in the semi finals where the stakes are almost as high as it could get. This series is truly a spectacle.
this is an uphill battle for both players from start to finish... this is one of those few moments in ASL where you don't really know who's going to win... both players really pull out every tricks up their sleeves, every ounce of micro, every squeeze of their mineral and gas... kudos to both!!! I really enjoy watching them... this is PvZ on the highest level game played...

A back-and-forth nail-biter all the way to the 7th match. with both players giving absolutely everything at their disposal. I think this is my personal favourite series of all time.
Epic match but it's crazy how late this came out. The finals are already done! I was sick of waiting (especially because I was a paying patron supporter), so I watched it from StarCastTV instead. I love Tastosis though and I hope they can get it together for next season
Practice patience. Don’t support them excepting something in return, but be grateful when the video is uploaded. Also english cast is barely enjoyable with tasteless saying random shit and repeating himself over artosis trying to actually explain what’s technically happening. May as well put some music and mute the video.

Not entirely sure how the public's reaction is affecting the players themselves... In the case with the hidden factory - do the players hear the noise the public is making? In my mind it may turn out to be a tell when there is something hidden and you're about to discover as a player...
Those firebats have impressive indirect effects late-game. Did you notice near the very end, that firebat peel off to chase away the critical defiler? Gained like 10 seconds to lay extra punishment on that final expansion.
Btw, I'm pretty sure glaives have a pattern of what direction they bounce based off the angle of attack or something.. I can't find it now but there was a thread on tl at one point.

You can see him scout the little blocked ramp, wait, then go back and his screen hesitates on the proxy location for a bit. I love Starcraft but let's not pretend players can't hear the crowd. "Noise cancelling headphones" work up to a point, but a crowd produces vibrations you can just feel, even a deaf person could "hear" a crowd. Anyways, great series.

If he had maybe the damage could have been less. Can anyone explain the possible rationale behind Soulkey's decision there?
I'm just a few minutes in but as a competitive person, I appreciate Soulkey telling Royal 7 minutes into it, listen, you haven't given me a reason to worry, buddy. I like both these guys and was not expecting that!
