I felt the same! He got aggravated when he lost those vessels at the end and all i could say is well thats why you dont chase ultras around the map...i honestly think he wouldve won if he didnt get tunnel visioned on that. That was atleast 2 minutes worth of just following ultras lol

Each time I try to listen to them I keep hearing at the back of my head him making a "guy in chat" impression or complaining how all the races that players play as are terrible to play against.

To be fair, the vulture run by was not a big W for Artosis, he got 10 kills, 3 of which were drones i think. and 7 lings. thats about 325 mineral, right? And he lost 2 vultures just to get in, making a loss of about 225 minerals.

I assume you dont play competitive mode in any games? That is the appeal. Mobas, rts, mmos have very pasionate people that enjoy the challenge but also rage at the not so good outcome. It is a cycle. He will lose some he will win some.
Have to add, winning a "hard game" like this one would have been one of the most satisfying wins of the day because he conquered the challenge and beat the odds. That is the appeal of competitive games.

What exactly is the purpose of bringing all your science vessels to the zerg’s base without any support to let them get killed with scourge? I would think you would want to keep the costly vessels alive longer so that they can build up energy and keep irradiating. Doesn’t seem worth it to let a vessel die so you can cast an irradiate on an ultralisk, let alone letting 4 of them die the same way. Seems very strange.
His biggest weakness is getting tunnel vision. He lost an couple of vessels when zerg split his army and went separate ways. It was an obvious trap. All you need to do to take Artosis down is to piss him off and lure him into over committing.

I think the micro at the start could've been a tad cleaner. If he had saved 2 more SCVs even, that would've been 7 instead of a 5, 40% increase in your economy, probably would've been enough to topple him.

4 pool is still a real strategy in skilled play, just seen less often because it's really punishable if it fails. Especially on a big map like this. Zerg got lucky he was vs artosis and not a good terran player.
seems like it would have been better if he got a few defilers though, but yeah thats true. And he wouldn't be at the rank he is I think if he only did 4 pools
Yeah, this is the remaster. It's only like 10.00$ I think and honestly it's the best remaster I think I've ever played. It's so faithful to the old game and changes absolutely nothing but the textures.

That early unit control and science vessel counter to the muta's was actually a work of art man, that first irradiate was beautiful. The fact you held him on 2 base with just pure micro was amazing, I've never tried out science vessel/marine/medic in T v Z but I'm so keen to now!

The difference between a good player and an average player. The good player doesn't over do marines in a critical situation, scv and tech, whereas the average player, makes 2 bunkers, 1000 marines and die against sunken defense. The gg always makes me lift my buildings to the corner and the map and go for a shit while the other player spends 10 minutes killing my buildings.
Oh man.. this is exactly why I think Terrans needs to utilize mines more often against Zerg.. maybe that last run in would've been absolutely smashed if there were some of those lying around
I must admit that besides the guardians that zerg was very good even prepared with a queen and this terran player is not enough aware of his vessels and lost a lot of them in stupid ways.
I wish SC2 had the unit AI but the pace of brood war, when you get the mechanics down and play you get so many cool micro battles that don't destroy your macro too fast, that early vulture was so fun to watch, I never see anything like that on SC2 its just too fast

Wrong bunker placement due to wrong supply placement and lack of early factory then more vultures was needed overall all-in failed but killed enough SCV and structures to make equal start and Artosis don't know how to play Terran.
@@Necroneer Hi, I am sorry to say, I have too big lag on Korean server to play games. So far I am playing on Europe server with 1900 mmr cheesing every single game with cca 70% winrate. I crushed some very good players so I think I stand a good chance vs Artosis. As far as I know, Artosis has one AKA even on european server too so it might not be all lost. If I ever play him, I will let you know :)
the build is called 4drone and it often gets referred to impregnating someone before marriage due to the speed and the surprise aspect of the build by the bw community (ex-pro and amateur streamers) in korea. failing the build makes it almost impossible to recover but artosis panicked and lost so much lol
4 pool got nerfed really hard when they increased price of Spawning Pool by 33 percent. Artosis sometimes doesn't understand the other factions well enough and memes about it. I really like the FFA commentary though. It is neat to take a look at those old maps sometimes.
The game was actually very relaxed and easy for the zerg. And he played ok, basically refusing to get an easy kill with defilers. So much sault from Arty, it's hilarious.
that was not a classic build, usually when 4 pool fails zerg is dead, that was evil going for mutas right after. Also olmost had a heart attack from lack of marines being built after that first 6 ling attack
I absolutely hated that zerg. Ya know, I've been playing since '98 myself and I couldn't help but feel like once I saw gas going into those ultra and little to no muta, I would have work toward 7-8 wraith, couple less vessels and continue that m&m pumping grades nonstop. Snag a few lord's take back map control use the cloak snag few drones fly around stop some expansion. I could be wrong, but I felt the entire time this dude had another base in the bottom left sector for sure.
