They're missing a bathroom. Would you want to fly around space with two other guys and no bathroom? Or alone for that matter? That would really change the meaning of "bed-logging".
This "ship is useless without bathroom" stuff it's stupid and useless argument.. mechanics don't even exist and I'm sure you have not played it like Sims and used the bathroom mid jump..
@@danny1988221 It's dangerous to use the bathroom mid-jump. You should always go before you jump in case of accidents. Also, how I play is none of your business.
Yeah, the Cutlass Blue used to be really good fun to fly back in 3.22.1, sadly since 3.23 and the introduction of Master Modes CIG have brought it down to the same specs as the cutty black, as a result it shares the same speed, boost, pitch/roll 'etc'. It's not even interceptor tuned, so now you're paying significantly more money for what is essentially a Cutlass Black with a better cockpit, flashing lights, a very short-ranged quantum dampener and less cargo space. I'm hoping this is just a temporary oversight and that they'll eventually tweak it further to make it a little faster, otherwise they'll need to remove the part in the official description where it says the Cutlass Blue has "a more aggressive engine".
Great videos and production. Been a backer for awhile but there’s just so many darned ships now. Nice to have refreshers on all of them. Subbed ! Cheers man
I think the plan for distortions is to have them effect only the QD so it’s harder for players to escape when MM is introduced. Yogi mentioned it recently. Thanks for the review! Never actually been in a blue
I hated the Cutlass design and was vocal about it. But the Blue just ticked some weird box with me. Paint scheme, bubble gum lights, round blacked out cockpit (still hoping for), not sure what it was. The commercial had huge success in marketing it to me. Bought it right away. Held onto my convictions about the Black though. The Blue became my goto ship for combat, cause it never is just straight forward combat, and I always end up being the guy who picks up the slack in the area we lack in. Its like being the only one in the friend group who has a truck. And brought said truck to a group outing. I found myself spawning it all the time for everything. Which then incentivized me to get a Black just a couple years ago. Basically a bigger truck, for more passengers and cargo space. The Black has since grown on me. I feel like a betrayed my beliefs though. The Cutlass Black is my highest recommendation for the best value starter ship in the verse. But the Blue just makes me feel like a manly man. Two oversized aircraft engines, strapped to frame of a heavy duty truck made form basic hardened tubing, overlaid in extra thick armor plating for the apocalypse, coated in cool blue and hand brushed stainless steel, accented by the flash of lights that makes one question what was that I just seen go by? Topped off with extra missiles in case you just feel like, what the heck. And MORE POWER, AAARRHHH AAARRHhh AAarrhhh. Don't forget those cryo chambers in the back, so your buddies can hang on to that intoxication and get the full effect of the hangover in the morning, cause you technically didn't let them sleep it off on the journey home. As a bonus, it comes with reinforced transparent security packaging tape, that helps maintain the guise of the official law enforcement look. Works with the lights too.
I like the blue because I like the cockpit much more. It feels a bit more like a space ship than a B-17. I wish they'd reorg the interior though. I don't think we need that many prisoner pods. I'd like to see it become a SWAT van as necessary, with one on half of the prisoner pods removed and replaced with jump seats.
Depending on how they handle armour i think the Blue can be quite tanky but have more areas NOT covered by armour. The main drawback to me of the Blue is the engine SOUND. It's chinese water torture sound whine that just kills the ship for me. Also, if it's utility point in the back for the tractor beam can have the Steel's turret then it would be REALLY interesting.
I like the idea of focused directional version of that. Not to OP, but still there when needed, and skilled enough for it. I also believe the SRV should have short range version of it.
This ship feels tacky to me because of the red and blue lights. I’d rather that be an optional paint so I can feel more like a vigilante and less like a cop
That external cockpit shot gives definite Alien vibes.
Thought so too. Very Dropshipy. lol
Love the look of the Drake ships. It makes more sense for frontier use. It makes the universe feel more lived in and less Star Trek.

It’s Drake, you just pee on the floor
Isn’t that the reason there are the two airlocks? 😂

No struts in the cockpit means it has a better view than other Cutlasses. Plus the 1300 top speed is great.

Hi mate! Love your videos, such a cool concept. Can You make one about Caterpillar?
Absolutely. And thank you!

The Cutlass Series is the best. These are excellent ships.

those cells have just been put there as placeholder, on the last PTU patch before going live.
"used for law inforcement" .. yeah, about that ... :D
I rate it a "meh". Quantum dampener is good. But it should also have the electromagnetic pulse weapon.

Needs a rework, so much wasted space
