Splash proof and you can add lenses.
I always wear my sunglasses while taking a shower or bath 😅
I can't imagine you can, or it'll have to be a very limited rx. You'll also probably have to receive your lenses exclusively from RayBan or Meta, I'd doubt many opticals will touch it, not without a waiver.
I had the first gen, main thing I want is waterproofing.
@@1meen1nope, you can take them to LensCrafters too. It's on the product page.
Does anyone know why they're still not available in the Netherlands?
The fact that you cant cover the light that lets people know you are recording is amazing!
It can and will be modded out one day
@@Matanumi for the average Joe that won't be a thing and that's the beauty. It will prevent most people from doing so.
How is that amazing? It's an anti-feature that completely ruins the product for me.
@@MCLVideo so u can't record people without them knowing it. Duh
@@maxjames00077And how is that a good thing? Completely defeats the purpose of a product like this.
Meta and MediaTek is set to revolutionize the AR smart glasses industry. MediaTek will co-develop custom silicon with Meta, specifically designed for AR use cases and the glasses
Why is it "cool" that I can't record or take a pic without an indicator light, but Zuck can listen to and record my device anytime he wants without my permission?
If someone thinks this sounds like a good thing, then they have a seriously warped view of what is "cool."
It's cool for everyone else in the world who isn't you.
creep
You gave permission the moment you agreed to the T&C which includes the words "Meta owns you and your data, exclusively"... 😅
@ it's only a "creep" if you're not into them lmaooooo
@@soberanisfam1323 what
These are going to be the ones that put em on the map when they can translate signs for travelers
Give me 5 minute clips and we got a deal
yall crushed the black on this
All I want to know is does it give radiation
Just bought a pair with prescription for the music ability and especially hands free calling, though i look absolutely mental to others talking without headphones or earbuds. Had an elderly lady ask me the other day if i was ok, and needed help lol
What's the maximum time you can record a single video?
60 secs... Until someone figures how to make it longer lol
1:40 5 cameras or 5 microphones? HaHa obviously there isn't a camera in the nose piece...
Meta is not happy to spy on all your activities that the same people publish on their platform; now want to spy on what you see. Stay away of META
Worst part is everyone seems to be so damn happy and excited about it. Screw privacy and and safety.
@@luisdireito people are idiots, specially new generation, crystal generations as I called
I just bought these today and I hope they are pretty dope. At least when I tested them out in the store I was amazed
How is the music? I have the Bose glasses that came out a few years ago and there’s no bass at all
@@rawb_ent music is OK- in a pinch it works fine.
I prefer my Sony in ear buds though- these LOVE to take over when they turn on
Pls tell me u can record for longer than 60 seconds at a time. Nope. I don’t get why it’s so short. Should be at least 5 minutes
Screen record your livestream maybe..? 😅
I get it though, the upskirt potential is disgusting
Thanks very much for the new tech gadget sharing. the functions are pretty awesome. However, the frame design is just too bulky for me. I hope they will improve it over time and make it much slimmer. Are there any phone notifications shown inside the glasses or can we read messages through viewing the glasses?
I think the lenses have no display. These are just sunglasses with headphones, ai assistant and a camera.
Uh, looking forward to the first hacks where people make photos with your meta glasses without you knowing (without triggering the LEDs, which most likely are just software triggered anyways), and then meta getting into trouble when such a hack and the photos that have been made are leaked :)
What an exciting dystopian future meta wants to bring us to.
It's totally software controlled in the driver for the camera.
You forgetting the new POV content that will show up on porn sites 😂
@@cronx1337yup, that's what I'm gonna use them for.
Google tried and gave up a decade ago for the same reason 🙃
@@krishna81m true but a lot has changed, especially technology-wise.
60sec of recording is the only thing i dislike about it
And what does Meta do with all the data collected?
Also I’m concerned about only have 15 second clips. Why not longer?
hey do you want to give mark zukerberg and his company of kindness and positive your eyes?
I hope Apple will do something like this some day in relatively near future. I am not gonna use glasses made by Meta, but those are really cool and I need those.
Apple will have them in 3 years and claim its new and innovative starting at $1,300
Your train of thought, is so tiny that u can't buy something because its not apple 😂 damn , are u getting paid by them
Theater movie piracy is gonna be nuts 😂
Cool glasses. Wont buy anything from Meta though.
The limit of maximum 60 seconds of video at a time, made me turn them back the very next day. I had very high expectations I guess.
Your loss- these can record quickly one after another just fine
The next generation of glassholes. The problem was never the tech, but what was being done with it. Smaller, lighter, still a privacy issue. And really creepy.
You should have been this concerned when camera phones first came out. They already have miniature cameras that scumbags use so if anything at least now you will behave yourself knowing people could be recording you
@@mantoniom55 Camera phones are easily visible and the subject has a chance to object. If someone wants to take a selfie in public or do a quick wide-angle, that is fine. These are covert recording devices with massive potential for abuse. Google Glass sank without trace for those very reasons. Are you ready to be lumped in with the creeps recording children outside schools?
@@mantoniom55 So you are totally fine with scumbags using covert cameras to record in public? Your word not mine, by the way.
Yes, I do it myself.@@onenote6619
Can't wait to have Meta as my ears and eyes gathering and selling all my most personal data

That was enough for me to not want these anymore 😅
Doesn't show any samples of video, photo or audio volume levels 😢
Only buying if someone figures out how to disable that stupid LED indicator light.
Since the videos are capped at 60sec does live streaming give you the option to record longer and ability to download it later?
Seems like a good upgrade but I still don’t see the point of those. Who are they for? At first I thought porn but at 60 Seconds a clip you’d have to go pretty fast 😅
lol your name checks out
Yeah it should record 1 hour coz that's how long I last ...
