Great vid! What as the issue you were having? I just got my Wendigo yesterday, Redcat is currently running an awesome sale so I couldnt pass it up! But, the torque twist is pretty bad on it, and steering seems to be all over the place. When turning lock to lock, it will pull the chassis down at full lock in both directions. Is this the issue you were having? Also noticed steering doesnt like to return to center without some opposite direction correction.
So just a question, what made you choose the Windego over the Camo X4? I'm on the fence, that's why I'm asking. Thanks for the videos by the way
Not sure why I didn’t get one. I just love the way the Redcat WENDIGO looked. Unfortunately RC store I deal with doesn’t carry many Axial Rigs. Since the company had its issues in China.
What beadlocks are you running? Did you need spacers to run them. Any link for the club rc servo relocator? Link for the aluminum link ends?

I'm glad you like it now. Redcats are like that. They are close from the factory, but need just a little wrench time to be great.

You shouldn't have to out of the box you should be able to drive it and spend your money how you want to not have to buy this and that just to run it !

I'm having troubles calibrating my Wendigo Stock electronics, I got no brake, forward low torque it's jumpy, and have to go full throttle for reverse. Did you calibrated your manually, or did you use that controller card that you showed us...and if you did use it, where can I get one...also having trouble going from lipo too nimh battery...thank you Anthony 🙏

This is off topic just thought I'd put it out there! I just bought a Injora jeep body no top it was advertised to fit a Redcat Gen 8 . But it doesn't even come close it's to narrow.it could be made to fit with some fab work but it wouldn't look scale . Just wondering if anyone one else has this issue 😬

I love the front bumper, missed where it came from or if you customized it yourself, either way, very cool.
Was the forward mount for the purpose of crawling? Or making it better for crawling? I’m in between the camo4 or the wendigo
Can you please explain in more detail what/how you've changed the steerin/linkage and how you have the two arms stacked? I purchased one and am struggling to find support and I like the links and what you've done, but not sure where to get the right parts.
I just broke the servo and lower link on mine. Hit a tree....oops!

I just ordered m4 metal tie rod ends for my Wendigo too. My steering tie rod also came off the plastic tie rod ends they come with. What else do I need to get for the m4 metal tie rod ends? Thanks.

so did the mod change your steering geometry? does it turn further now with the servo re positioned? is it just the Gen 8 steering servo mount from Club 5 Racing? what was the length of the link you used to get the steering geometry right? just curious since you did not mention these things or provide links.
No the C hubs need to be redone hopefully they’ll be some mods for that soon
Just pieces put together? I would like to know the length of the link. Redcat does not put these details in the manual. I can measure it, but come on man, give me a break.
