As long as any lane can win on any given day it will never die. Don't get caught up in the hype. The hype will die before the racing. Build It, Race It!
I don't think it's going to completely die out it just cooled off so fast and I can remember bodies and parts coming out every week ..new tires new wings. It's still a few Crews around but not like it was a lot of guys I was racing with went back to crawling or monster truck racing or some other part of rc ..but I think u right at the end of the day appreciate u checking me out
I hope it comes back with more upgraded parts from a variety of different vendors. I'm in Buffalo NY and it's never took off. No hobby shops carry any DR components except Traxxs. It's very limited too. I'm into more advanced upgrades but nowhere to really test what ive put together 😢
Crazy Dad always late to the party. But always last to leave. Whats crackin my friend. Man i love NP Drag racing. Woo gear head sice day i was born.👍always before i even play. Very. Nice. I had a 66 Chevelle in high school did a fram off resto.built a 427 for it. Muncie 4 speed. Man thank you for the nice video. Wooo😊
It's starting to come back around but not like it was but I don't believe it going to completely go away..it's was a great time man appreciate u stopping by
Sweet set up bro I'm might make my jato into a dragster. Actually, I purchased it with that idea 💡 I wanted a nitro dragster seen lots of video people racing jato's
I'm trying in my little area in SE Iowa. I bought a LOSI 22S. A buddy built a Drag Slash. Another buddy picked up a DR10. I just bought a used DR10 yesterday. Our's are more RTR type... not high dollar... just trying to have fun with friends...
@@TimMcVey that's what it's really about at the end of the day..great thing is it's coming back to that so u will see more drag racing on the channel thanks for stopping by
@@allaspectsrc4178 sold my DR10, started with a new kit instead... so it's win/win. I got my money back out of the used car, got another friend into it... bought a brand new DR10 kit, andf now can built it out how I wanted it to begin with... We're up to 5 cars now. I'm pushing it... ;)
It's easy to make them fast, but it costs more than the cars. I have four built, and just did a rustler build to make 5. The electronics are where you sink the most cost. You can run stock RTR class, and have fun, but once you see the fast ones it's hard not to get the bug.
I started with a drag slash and started building a maverick chassis in the first year but when the season was about to start RCHRA here in Georgia started with all the price increase then rules changing every other race and it was crazy me and my son set out last year because of it I understand there is money tied up in this but why does it have to cost me damn near $400 to race 4 cars we are there to have fun and make memories and meet new people why does it have to cost a week worth of groceries?
@@saga420nbk most of them are and LA has some fast guys u should find them on Facebook...try rc drag talk on here or Facebook they pretty much do all the drag racing in LA
Awesome drag car. 💯 Very cool ! To bad there are little nitro drag races. But than again, no drag racing here at all. Think that's great fun. Thanks for sharing bro👊
O s'''' look who I found on RUclips what's good bro I'm thinking about getting my slash out tomorrow... You got sum cars nice 👊🏾 I subscribed and gave u a 👍🏾
Yeah I know unfortunately I can't solder worth shit ..I had planned to re do the electronics but I really don't run the car too much these days ..maybe I'll have my guy do it at some point🤷🏿♂️
I don’t think that no prep drag racing died off. I kind of feel like the people that were doing no prep drag racing back then in 2020-2022 they graduated to using prep on their tires now the people who do drag race they are running 1.5- 1.7 and they’re going 80-90 mph not only that it’s also hard to find people who are interested in the hobby so I don’t think no prep drag race and died off, I just kind of feel like we’re going in the wrong places to find people that are interested in the hobby.

I believe that is true ..guys that don't run after market chassis..
Yeah its over to many guys throwing stupid money to make an rc car go less than 50 yards ive been involved in the hobby fer 40 years its just a fad
