    I made your recipe tahini with only extra virgin olive oil and I did it well but in a milkshake machine as I do t have one like you - yet but I will get one.
    I have just eaten some with whole meal pitta and cucumber and onion and tomato and feta cheese.
    It was a pleasing snack but to be quite frank - I think this tahini is best as a drizzle over some meat or accompanying dish - I tried it and can give it friends in a container but for me I am much more satisfied with hummus and so next time I prepare a dish that will be my definite choice.
    The tahini is very pungent or rather - intense in some way and nice but just not so nice alone without something else with it and also - I prefer hummus basically and chickpeas.
    I subscribed to your channel and will search for hummus recipes and I will also make my own whole meal pitta as well to experiment.
    Ty for uploading.

    I am not a foodie at all. I recently found out about the benefits of garbonzobeans, so ordered a 25 lb bag. Someone said I should make hummus: I just need Tahini. I've never made before, so I just received my Sesame seeds from Amazon; I thought it was going to last me a very long time, because it says 566 servings!

    Tahini NEVER has oil added to it. The deeper the toasting, the less bitter it will be. Use hulled sesame seeds. You will need a high power blender.

    The moment you blend or crush a fiber food... it is useless in nutritive content. No roughage, just a paste with a taste!

      Then don't crush it. 😁

      What does you teeth do then? I understand, it might break the chains inside the seed, but not all of them probably.

    • @zaizen4359
      @zaizen4359 5 месяцев назад +2

      What a statement to make!! Yes, I’m sure the vitamins and minerals just poof out of existence because you’ve crushed it.
      I suppose we’ll have to eat our kale with the help of a stick to get it into our stomachs because we can’t use our teeth to crush and grind it.
      Have you seen what fully chewed food looks like? It’s much like what a blender does. The roughage doesn’t disappear just because you blend it. It just becomes easier for the body to process. Gentle roughage.
