Wow how amazing do their voices sound together? Eden does a good Glinda but she is definitely a better Elphaba!! But Willemijn WOW! She sings brilliant in German and absolutely AMAZING in English!! Both of them together just gave me the happiest mood EVER!!
@thenewmmc3 for some reason I hope so too but broadway is far far far away from where i come from. willemijn is now playing the elphaba in her native language which you might know is dutch.
you were speachless when you made the comment, you'll probably faint when i tell you that Willemeijn is replacing Jackie Burns in February. she starts 2/12/13 and will play Elphaba for 15 weeks.

Ben Schaeffer Willemijn didn't play Glinda, only Elphaba in 4 countries... She did sing Glinda songs on private performances like 'Popular', She did great, I think she would be a good Glinda, but never as good as she plays Elphie. She IS Elphie! 😊💚😍
Not true, actually. I encountered a language barrier during my trip to the Netherlands. many older people and people who live in smaller towns don't necessarily speak English, as they really have no reason to. In fact, I had a situation with my American credit card and a store's new machine. The first woman spoke to me in Dutch, realized I wasn't saying anything, so in Dutch asked me where I was from. Then her manager came to talk to me, and only spoke Dutch as well.

It's kind of surreal to hear Willemijn singing in English, haha. Obviously she's amazing no matter what language she sings in.
