I don't know the German language very well, but when watching and listening to these two performing this song you don't need to know a word of German. Their eyes and their voices tells the whole story and this is, by far, the most emotional performance of this song I've come across so far. So beautiful.
I can hardly speak a word of German but I learnt the entire soundtrack so I can sing along. I am crying so hard right now...this is perfect
It does not matter if you do not speak German. Just watch and listen to a beautiful performance. Beautiful scene. Beautiful ladies performing it. Beautiful voices. Just BEAUTIFUL!

This is so touching and emotional; I cried right through this. The best 'For Good' ever. They sang everything perfectly even through the tears. What great singers. I love this.
These two are amazing. At portraying the affection and caring that Elphaba and Glinda hold for each other. God I cried at the way Glinda said Elphie after she presumably melted ;_;

That's no bad thing. I think that a lot of people are touched by this. It does not matter who you are or what you do in life there is something in Wicked that reaches out and pulls you in and it becomes special for you. And this bit is just beautiful. It's art and art should move you, especially art that is beautiful like this. And such a great performance by two so very talented ladies.
This is a great pairing. They sound great. This is so touching, their body language the way they sing and their facial expressions are great and help a lot in this song. I learned the song in English and German so now I can sing along.
Ok this whole video is entirely beautiful, but I can't help but notice how PERFECT each of these ladies FIT their costumes. _No,_ I'm _not_ talking about body size.
I mean... I love how Willemijn has such elegant, angular features, and how Jana has really pretty and soft features. They just FIT their characters so damn well, visually, musically, and through acting. An incredible pair of women, a talent combination which is rare to come by.
Edit: OK THIS MADE ME CRY MORE THAN ANYTHING I'VE EVER SEEN PERFORMED IN ENGLISH. THESE LADIES ARE MY FAVOURITES IN THEIR RESPECTIVE ROLES NOW OMFG. ALSO THEY ARE JUST SO TALENTED THAT I DON'T EVEN NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE LINES TO LITERALLY BE SOBBING RN. IN FUTURE IF FOR GOOD ISNT LIKE THIS EVERY SINGLE TIME THEN I DONT WANT IT.
Just so very, very beatiful. Beautiful singing and such beautiful acting.They really do look like two people making up after being at war with each other while saying goodbye forever and I love you forever. So much talent! They bring this to LIFE! Just so very wonderful! You cannot not love this. I would not believe anyone who ever said that they did not love this. Utterly, utterly beautiful!
And don't you just want to be where Glinda is to teĺl Elphie that you are in love with her and to beg her not to go? I bet that anyone who is a fan of Wicked would fall to their knees in front of Elphie, grab her hands and beg her not to go if this was real. How many out there who were around before Wicked remember watching the Wizard of Oz and now think it weird that they would love to kiss the witch? No one mourns the wicked? Everyone who has ever read the book mourns the loss of Elphie at the end like they would the loss of a real person and at the end of the musical until you know that she is alive you mourn for her. She has become my favourite fictional character and I love how very beautifully people like this so very talented lady bring her to life. Willemijn you are a Goddess!

Also: Let's just acknowledge that this is a German production of an American Broadway musical based on a book which was influenced by a movie but is really a fanfiction of a 19th century children's book that is idiosyncratically 19th-century-American in pretty much any way imaginable.....I can't even begin to fathom how distant the average German viewer is from the origins of this story. That's kind of fascinating.
I don't speak German but I'm a Wicked fan so I have a good idea of what they're singing!
