@@aclonymous Smash Ultimate (and/or the Switch) can only support up to 8 controllers at a time... for some reason. it makes it really annoying for dual-JoyCon users, since each one counts as a controller. For your idea, they'd need a way to switch control between characters or a mod of both Smash Ultimate AND the Switch to support more than 8 controllers. I would totally love that though! MORE CHAOS!

sounds super good on paper but they did it as the member bonus. they bounce around so much that the likelihood of them landing in a hole goes up exponentially tbh. one of them (no spoilers) without the other even being able to make a move.
Cool idea, but I feel like the top right hole gets more "balls" than the others making every game feel the same. New idea, have both players use link and use the remote bomb to get the balls in. Kind of like how you'd use a the white cue ball in real pool. I think this would avoid the top right hole being used more so much.

I would absolutely love to see this again in the future, but with a couple new rules: - To make it even more like actual pool, no one should be allowed to move left or right on the ground and not jump unless it is their turn. This would better reflect the premise of hitting the cue ball in which you have to play it where it lies. - HOWEVER, if your opponent whiffs an attack just once, that should be considered what is known in pool as a scratch, in which the opponent can place the cue ball wherever they'd like. But for Smash, you'd be able to move wherever you'd like.
@@aaronstuart8490 well i just googled it and there are tons of rules they had to apply if they wanted to play correctly. But turns out you can play by pub-rules which means that you basically make your own rules
@@aaronstuart8490 in an actual game of pool, although you might think that the color with less balls is more advantageous, it’s just better to go with the color that is more spread out through the table, or the one with easier shots to be made. That way, you increase your chances of sweeping the table and winning
I feel that the stage going vertically instead of horizontally could work really well because then people may be more inclined to try for the sides, rather then continuing to be hitting things generally upwards. The only thing about that is I don’t know how the wind would interact with Puff being sent to the side (in terms of trying to set up and aim).
Because there are only 6 balls in this I think always alternating turns would be a little more exciting. The water moves are also extremely broken, so maybe banning those would be fair as well. Love the content guys, this is a great idea.
I think windboxes like FLUDD or Water Gun should be banned since they allow Jigglypuff to slide along the walls instead of bouncing, which isn't in the spirit of pool (and also makes it too easy).
I think it could be interessting if you werend allowed to walk around after you land. So you have to think more about where to drift after you hit the target. Also melee items could be interessting as well! Nice mod guys:3

If you guys try this again, try raising the launch rate or increasing Puff's percent to like 100% to make the physics more like pool in real life, bouncing all over the board (and maybe decrease the size of the holes to compensate)!

1:28 Just make the wooden part of the pool table one piece. Generally, making shapes all as one piece will reduce the stage weight by a little bit. That should make the stage 8 player
you guys should do this again but only use pits neutral B to hit the puffs and if the opponet hits the other person they get to jump and attack the puff that they want. you should also make it a rule where you should choose what hole the last puff is like how in 8ball you choose the hole you want it to go in and if it goes in any other hole other than the one you choose you lose
Imagine there was a spirit with the very specific property where launched characters have a hitbox on them For a sec I thought there were gonna be 8 people playing and hitting each other in the direction they go
I think setting Jigs to 100% and using Pac-Man side B as the "cue" Ball would make it even more realistic. That way you can only position yourself with side b and where you end you don't move

Wow this looks so cool to play, and very fun to watch! Well done! Kinda sad that one SD costs you the whole game though, why not start the game with more stocks so you can always keep playing? You could just say that it wastes your turn (like when you put in the white ball in actual pool) so you can't abuse it too much with moves that drags you in with the jiggs? Also maybe windboxes should be banned because these fludd plays looked insane lol
The lack of custom spawn locations is an atrocious oversight by Nintendo. One of the more skilled mod creators really needs to release a custom stage builder overhaul.
i had this weird dream that i can’t explain. it made zero sense and there was no structure, but Cfive and Vyq were there with me and my friend Nathan. but as i was waking up, i thought about the dream and was thinking: “damn we haven’t played smash with them in a while…they usually come to nathan’s right? when was the last time we played smash with Cfive and Vyq? and i couldn’t remember…bc it never happened. it took me a minute to regain my sense of reality.
I think another rule should be that your first hits should be to the left, so that you don't only play on the right side of the table and make shots on your first turn. Also, how it normally goes is you get the color of the first ball you HIT, not the first ball you make it go in.
I wonder if you could also put on 2.0x knock back while having the 362° mod on to create a closer pool experience (maybe with stamina on) 👀 This is seriously one of the coolest stage builder stages ever!
This was so nice, but what if when you knock all your color balls into the holes you have to knock your opponent into a hole you chose, like an 8 ball yk
Idk if anyone else suggested this but it might be a good idea if you set up stamina for this so that way the knock back could be the same from the same move if that makes sense
If you cant adjust knockback maybe put the jiggs in the center so the hole selection gets mixed up a bit more instead of just up b drag top right almost every time, love the concept though
I feel like the first attack should be a bomb or something. Because the jigglypuffs don't collide with each other and bounce, the first attack won't hit all 6. So if a bomb works you should get all 6 in slightly random positions Idk I don't play smash
Do this again but with higher % on the balls, then also play as Jiggs and use only Rollout to hit them! I'd be curious to see if the wind still holds you up even during the attack.
clubhouse games pool is the only video game my mom will play with me, so now I am going to try to propose this to her. I doubt she would be on board, but it's worth a shot.
I think it would be better if you are not allowed to hit the jiggs to the right on the first turn. Also I think in pool if you get two different balls in at the first turn you can choose which ones you want, so if you get both red and blue you dont need to worry about who went in first
Would be cool if you could add a permanent spike dash effect to the puffs so they could damage each other when they touched each other to add some ricochet
Did you play around with their starting percentages? If they had more damage they would go further and bounce more of the walls like actual pool balls. Not sure if that would make the game more or less fun, though
You can add one more jigg and make it a color you have to hit in last. If you hit it in before last you lose. Also, is there a spirit that makes people in knockback a comet? Use that for the balls
HEY!! You should try this again! There are really good ideas for the rules in the comment section!! *You must do your move from the exact spot you end your last turn. (If you walk or move your character to position yourself in a better spot counts as a shot) (jumping from your spot using multiple jumps in order to hit Puffs is allowed, but if you wiff, once you touch the ground you lose your turn) *Adding lunch speed, handicap, or maybe stamina, to make the Puffs movement more alike to pool's balls. *Etc!!
Next time you should ban each move that gets a jiggly into a pocket. Like if you get a score with an up air you can’t use up air again until the next game
It’s unfortunate that you can only have 6 Puffs, because having one on a third team as the 8-ball that has to be sunk last would be great.

Was going to say this as well. Also it makes it so you have to play in other parts of the board instead of just going for the top/top-right holes.
Maybe set them to 999HP stamina and use launch rate 2.0x?

I don’t think wind affects knockback, just fall speed AFTER the knockback

You should have some with a bow and some without to simulate stripes and solids, but with only 6 balls that may be unnecessary
