Snake I consider to be a fluctuator (name still WIP) in terms of hype, partially because unlike pretty much every other zoner in the game, he can’t do most of his spam for free and his nikita is pretty overblown in terms of edgeguarding,since you can avoid it by simply attacking it, especially with multihit attacks. Even ganondorf can up b through it if positioned right.

As someone who play ARMS, even in the game that is all about range she is probably the lamest. Every other character has an archetype apart from zoner but Min Min is a true zoner, which is probably why she represents ARMS for Smash.

I don't understand why Sonic is lame. So C. Falcon is hype because he is really fast and poses when he fights, and Sonic... man, that is biaised.
@@Jamy007123 I think that people prefer Falcon over Sonic because Falcon is more flexible than Sonic. What I mean by that is that the Falcons combo are very different than each other when the ones for Sonic always kinda starts by the same thing and it can be pretty much annoying for some people.
@@sevenx5895 I understand that, but I also know that most of this opinions come from online experiences compared to pro's gameplay (which I don't find very fair). I think every character is lame or hype depending not on their moveset, but on the way you play them. Most people think that a proyectile character is automatically lame, but every now and then you see a Megaman or Young Link doing something absolutely nuts. Lame or hype is something subjective, I have suffered the online Ness myself, but Poppt1's Ness is everything but lame
@@Jamy007123 agreed. If you go online, you may find some people who are pretty hype when they play a character, but most of the time, you'll find some pretty lame players.
Here's an example: look at most Game & Watch players online against the Game & Watch of Maister, or the Pikachu of ESAM against most of the Pikachu's players online. Most online players will play lame because they know it'll work for them.
Also, I said that every character can be hype, but every character can be lame as heck too.

Also, I have to congratulate Little Z for this video. I don't agree with most opinions, but I have to admit that it is a very brave video to upload. When I saw the clickbait, with Megaman as a lame character, I thought "there he goes again". I'm a Megaman fan (especially Megaman X and Battle Network), I know Megaman could have had any moveset Nintendo wanted him to have (maybe Capcom had something to say about it, I don't know), but they went for the original Megaman. Everyone's loss IMO. I also thought they wouldn't recognize how lame Steve can be, as I suposse many of his subscribers would have grown with Minecraft. But hey, I was surprised in the good sense, so yeah, pretty brave of him.

i feel like pac man is one of the more debatable characters in this situation. on one hand, there's the pac man who will juggle you with godlike boss galagas and clever aerials, but on the other hand, there's a pac man who sits on the edge of the stage spamming projectiles.

I did dislike, but for a different reason, and here's why (saying this as constructive criticism, not just to be hateful)
The idea isn't that creative or fun. Characters being classified as "lame" or "hype" is something that's been done to death already, so this isn't anything new. And for the most part their takes on the characters being lame or hype wasn't all that interesting either, just what you'd expect (zoners=lame, rushdown=hype). It isn't all that interesting.
Zach tends to have more creative ideas than this, like with you lose you cosplay or smash charades. New takes on old concepts that result in fun videos. This one just feels like it's saying things the smash community has already been saying for forever. Of course their commentary still makes the vid somewhat enjoyable, but the overall idea simply seems pretty easy.
That's just my two cents though, I didn't hate the video, it's just not the usual standard of quality for the channel.
