How do you take care of the untreated leather on your bag? Do you spray it or leave it as it is? I love the look of monogram but i dont want to ruin the vachetta leather :(
I’ve actually never sprayed my bags with anything. I’ve heard and seen so many people use baby wipes or apple guard. But all my bags have a natural patina. But after the incident with my Alma bb I’m SUPER carefully when I handle the fresh vachetta. I make sure my lotion sinks into my hands for a solid 7-10 min before handling. It’s a little time consuming but after it patinas properly then it becomes a lot less fuss. (Sorry for the long reply lol just wanted to be thorough with my answer 💕)
The alma bb monogram is Kendall Jenner's favorite bag. She wears it all the time. It's such a beautiful bag, I think it looks better than the dammier version.
Dye it black, i got my new alma monogram but I was so scared of water damage I dyed the vachetta all black with leather dye so now I can bring it out when it rains
Love your video. I recently got the boite chapeau but would you say it patinas just like the regular vachetta or would it remain clear/clean? I was thinking dark leather trim/patina wouldn’t look too appealing over time on this model 🤦🏽♀️
I feel like the SUPER dark patina doesn't look that appealing on any model haha In my experience with my boîte chapeau I've only had it for almost a full year and the color is still not even that honey golden. It's around the same shade as my alma bb that I've had for over 3 years now! But then again I don't wear any of my bags every single day straight!

Her bags are all in pristine condition, and she doesn't do anything really on them. But she explained how she lift water spots that were not too intense.
