Today's video is a comparison between my Louis Vuitton Alma BB in both Monogram and Damier Ebene. In this video, I will be comparing the two bags, sharing if I have any regrets, and my honest thoughts of the two. I will also reveal which I prefer out of the two bags.

I just bought a monogram bb for my lady and she noticed the zipper also...mainly because she had the luxury of already having the damier ebene to compare it to.we initially thought it was a flaw...now I feel better knowing that's how it's made.👌🏾
Whenever I purchase from LV next, it’s definitely going to be the Alma bb in Damier Ebene. So beautiful 😭😍

I just purchased the Alma BB in the Damien Ebene this past Saturday. I chose that because of the treated leather; I want to use my bag and felt it would be more hard wearing in the DE instead of the Monogram. It’s such a cute bag. I’m happy to have it.

Love my damier ebene, but definitely want the monogram print alma bb from the my world tour with the black leather, it’s so beautiful and you don’t have to worry about the vachetta.

I’ve actually had the Damier Ebene for 3 yrs and haven’t used it... I love it thought. Maybe this winter I’ll use it.. looks great with brown mink coat!

i have the DE alma bb .. i got that print cause its my favourite and its more practical for Vancouver it rains A LOT here. I have a speedy B 25 in DE print as well :) both amazing and classic

Even though LV changed the leather to matte do you feel like it still has a glossy look to it? It appears in the video like it does and I was just wondering your thoughts on that. I love the glossy look. Also as of now how would well would you say the handles and leather have held up? I know with the new matte leather it's supposed to stop the cracking issues that the older models ha d be much better quality.

Def getting the Ebene instead of Monogram after this video. The monogram is way too high maintenance and I feel like the Ebene will go with a lot of my outfits.
I got the alma bb in monogram because I got the speedy 25 in DE, and they're similar sizes.
I have the speedy 25 in DE, and I tried the Alma bb in monogram in the store today, omg...it’s so cute!!! I’m so afraid of water spot gets on it’s bottom...I hate to get both DE in such two similar bag. I think I might sell my speedy for my new Alma bb 😢

@@ChelsyLS I do like the slouchy look the speedy gives, but I also notice I haven’t use it in a long time. Not sure it’s because of covid, I like all crossbody bags. That’s why I like the Alma bb. Wish I’m more petite cuz the tiny bag looks so tiny on my medium/big frame.

How long is the belt..
I was always a Mono girl but I wanted a DE bag so I chose the Alma BB and I loved it so much that I got a lightly pre-loved mono one a few months later. Same bag but still different! Mono to me is more casual .DE is more dressy. Eventually I might sell my pre-loved mono one and get a new one . I tend to find a bag I love then get the different patterns . With the different patterns I feel like I always have something that suits my mood.. or the season/weather!

What are the necessities you need in your bag? Keep those in consideration as they are important factors.

If you’re leaning towards the Alma BB, I’d choose the DE print so that you won’t have to babysit your bag while trying to enjoy your trip. Also, keep in mind that the Alma BB can be worn as a crossbody but it’s not flat so it may not be the comfiest.

Hey girl hey! I absolutely adore both of them so much, it’s such a hard decision to make. Honestly, both bags will always remain in my collection. They both are bags that I would NEVER get rid of. So I think that you need to think about your personal needs in a bag and make your decision from there.

No, LV bags do not go on sale ever. In fact, they keep increasing their prices. There were 2 price increases in 2021.

I have Alma BB monogram, it is my second LV bag, first one is speedy B25 DE, so for variety's sake, I choose the monogram. I kinda 50% regret it because the stress of babying the bag is preventing me from reaching out to the bag. But it is so beautiful, I am wondering if I should sell it. I cannot make up my mind, if I give it up, whether will I regret of such classic bag? Also I am hoping to add Alma BB Epi Galet soon(epi is more durable and easy)
Don’t care what is more popular, just trust your heart ❤️ if it’s not jumping on the Mono bb, than sell it or change with someone who has the damier ebene. I have the ebene and I am glad about it! More durable! 😊

Same girl same. I love the red interior on the DE. But I also want ppl to know I got a Louis lol. Monogram everyone will know a mile away. DE kinda looks like a imitation and ppl wouldn’t know it’s Louis unless they read the lil checker box on the bag. I’ve been watching so many videos. I think ima do the speedy 25 in mono and the alba in DE. I’m going to go in store and see them in person. That should help big time.
