I wish I knew back when that I could purchase straps to replace the existing one, I likely would've kept it because she was still so beautiful. I wear this with the adjustable monogram strap and the adjustable BANDOULIÈRE in monogram. Recently with my Alma DE, the adjustable strap did go undone on one of the side which was really weird and kind of alarming to me. It hasn't happened since and I'm thinking maybe I didn't put it on properly. But it has happened to me too! As for the lock, try attaching it to the clochette to avoid further hardware scratching! Great video! I’m definitely interested in adding it to my collection, I had the same issue with one of my straps coming off. I took it back to the boutique & my SA sent it off for repair. I’ve had no issues with it since! Try that! 🥰
Hi Rana! I actually have the Alma PM, and it's exactly the same problem. I can fit my VDS personal in there and some very slim things, but that still make the zipper do its wonky thing. I love the bag so much but I stopped using it as an everyday carry now that I need to bring my iPad 11" constantly. BTW I did ask the LV store to help me wax the zipper - it made it a little better with unzipping and zipping. Thanks for another great video!

Don’t know if I should get this or the speedy 25. Would probably use this more. Now I have to pay $240 more😖😖because of procrastinating. Quite senseless not to make the strap adjustable, given the price. I guess LV doesn’t support functionality.
Rana Plans actually, I prefer the coach Katy satchel with the duo colour combination. It’s way nicer & eye catching. I don’t t like the solid brown colour at the base of the bag. Coach is the BEST when it comes to quality & craftsmanship🙂

This one was the next bag on my list. But because your informative video I decided not to buy it. I want it for my everyday bag but I have two little kids and I always in a rush. I don’t think it will be a good choice even though I love this bag so much.
I think the Pochette Metis is more casual. Also, it is more comfortable as a crossbody. I prefer the Alma bb when I'm more dressed up. It really comes down to personal preference🥰

i have the original Alma…since the 70 ‘s. lost my key so can’t lock. i have the LV print, i use it quite a bit, but my fave is my bucket, also old❤️

The brass locks do tarnish, so just clean it. Toothpaste or baking soda paste works great.

Where is it coming off? On the s lock? It could happen I guess if you have lotion on your hands and then touching the lock. Or hand sanitizer?

If you carry a lot then the speedy b 25. It's a great bag for running errands and can be dressed up as well. Hope that helps🥰
