Vinegar will also do a pretty good job in a jar. Just swirl the contents once in a while.

My ultra sonic cleaner has a basket in it to where the vibes get on the metal much better seems like your would be more isolated from the vibes with the non basket style container yours uses.?

That's possibly true... but my stainless container (pan) isolates the cleaning solution or acidic solution from the ultrasonic cleaner itself making things much easier to clean up afterwards. The ultrasonic vibrations do pass through the walls of the pan pretty well.

What concentration vinegar? Are you diluting it?

For this I believe I was using straight distilled white vinegar right out of the bottle.

    Really great result sir 🎉
Just one question, how long should I leave ultra sonic on ?

You just need to inspect it once in a while and see how the cleaning process is progressing. Total time will depend on how much material needs to be removed.

This is a Branson 2200 I have had for over 20 years. Don't use it that often but it has always worked. Thanks for watching! Ron

So theoretically can you use this with mimosa hostilis root bark to help break down the plant matter?

Sorry, I have no idea what mimosa hostilis root bark is (or could be) used for.

@Ronald Walters does an ultrasonic cleaner work to break down plant cells or would I need a homogenizer

    • @RonaldWalters2010

Ultrasonic cleaning is a process that uses ultrasound to agitate a fluid with a cleaning effect by creating tiny bubbles which impact the surface to be cleaned. Usually a liquid soap is required as a wetting agent. In my video I was using vinegar to dissolve mineral deposits (calcium, magnesium) and the ultrasonic cleaner helps the solvent or soap get into cracks and crevices which would be difficult to clean manually.
I doubt the ultrasonic cleaner would break down plants cells. It would be the job of the product you are using to do that (possibly the mimosa hostilis root bark, but I am not familiar with that). Similar to how soaking meat in beer or vinegar can tenderize it (in time). Manual stirring or agitation can redistribute the fluid and aid the process.
A homogenizer or blender is a mechanical method to break up cells.

Have you tried using a dishwasher? Add vinegar to dishwasher.
My ultrasonic cleaning arrives on Monday!
    Thank you !
Distilled water, the baby brand, adds back in the minerals. It is not true distilled free of minerals.
Walmart brand distilled is free of minerals.
    I enjoyed your video.

I have not tried a dishwasher. That probably would result in me being banned from the kitchen. :-)
And yes, you want the true distilled water.
