I saw this tour and was blown away at how good they were. Dave looked like a brother to John and Mick, and he brings back the old blues background they had been missing since 1975.
This is a good version. It's smooth, it grooves, it's in perfect time, everyone is doing what they are supposed to. It works. A moment captured in time.
Mason is one of the most underrated guitar players luv this w Bomnie Bramlett and Mc Vie Fleetwood rhythm section awesome thanks I need more Mason on vinyl!
So many versions of this song, I have used up over half the charge listening to all of them on my phone today. The 18 minute "and friends" version was a total trip.
Fortunately Stevie Nicks was so smart that she cemented a very prolific solo career aside FM so, in my opinion, she is the only Fleetwood Mac member that have a well deserved successful solo career. Good for her.
Mason was great in Fleetwood Mac. Not their best years for sure, and this is coming from a hardcore Green AND Nicks/Buckingham fan, but this album and tour is a favourite of mine.
I just read on Wikipedia that at the Tokyo stop of this tour, Jeremy Spencer came out and played with them...that sounds just awesome to me. does anyone have tape (audio or video) of this or at least know what songs were played? And in reference to some other posts, Fleetwood Mac were, are, and have been great with or without Buckingham/Nicks.
Maybe yes, maybe not. Buckingham Nicks were not as successful until they joined to Fleetwood Mac; or Say you Will album was #3 in Billboard while Christine solo album from 2004 didn't even chart.
So tell me something folks was this the period where Lindsay of course had gone and Christine were gone and they were in that law period before they reformed for the dance? Mick was still keeping the band going but without all the regular players I guess at the time is that how this worked out there in Switzerland I was just curious
Yes, they did one album, "Time". But then Bill Clinton asked the classic lineup to perform at his second Inauguration. That started the chain of events that led to "The Dance".
so which incarnation of FM is actually FM? For myself they all worked but as much as I love Stevie and Christine, FM was Mick, John, Peter Green and company.
Which of the 13 versions of Fleetwood Mac do you think is the real one? I loved it much more than the coked-out bad-hair and shoulder-pads band of the middle 80s. And the band without Peter Green and Chris just joined Danny and Jeremy - THAT was amazing, do you know that one?
I hate when people ask what “the” lineup of Fleetwood Mac is, as if they have no idea. Fleetwood Mac is Stevie, Lindsey, Christine, John, and Mick. You know... the ones that have some of the biggest selling records of all time? Yes. The Peter Green years were cool. Green Manalishi is a banger. But that’s not what 98% of people would call the classic lineup.
Acoustic guitar mix fail - not nearly loud enough in this version. Electronics malfunction? Or, was the acoustic guitar player trying to pull this off with a standard tuning? Dude, you need an E tuning for this song.
Never get tired of this great song. Dave Mason is a legend.
I saw this tour and was blown away at how good they were. Dave looked like a brother to John and Mick, and he brings back the old blues background they had been missing since 1975.
I agree - this is good - I am a Fleetwood mac fan from the early days. All the configurations are good.
I saw it too and was happy to see Dave and Ms Bramlett on stage with Fleetwood Mac. Incredible show!!!
This is a good version. It's smooth, it grooves, it's in perfect time, everyone is doing what they are supposed to. It works. A moment captured in time.

Damn Becca looks just like her beautiful mother. Bonnie is a wonderful person also.. very sweet person.
Bekka is monster vocalists like her mom - and dad.
So many versions of this song, I have used up over half the charge listening to all of them on my phone today. The 18 minute "and friends" version was a total trip.
It's Fleetwood Mac if Mick and John say it is. Bekka Bramlett rocks I'd like to hear the rest of this show.🙏😷🎵👍🎶❗👀
There's a complete show (although this song wasn't played) in my FMac playlist.
The apple 🍎 doesn't fall far from the tree. She sounds alot like mama Bonnie ❤
Of course I love this. The first album I ever got was Bonnie and Delaney Live.
Bekka sounds a lot like her sweet mama ...
30 years ago yeah - time flies.. saw them at a state fair . Didn’t get the credit deserved but folks only remember 1 version of the Mac.
Fortunately Stevie Nicks was so smart that she cemented a very prolific solo career aside FM so, in my opinion, she is the only Fleetwood Mac member that have a well deserved successful solo career. Good for her.
Stevie is a rock and roll giant. She is a big time star.. Some can't accept it but it's undeniable.
@@peteblowers3205this chick can sing circles around the raspy Stevie Nicks imo
Bekka you done your Pappa and Momma Proud! God bless you sweetheart! I was a huge D&B fan in late 60’s early ‘70’s! Time flies!🙏🏻🥰
Dave had only 2 hits but alot of artists covered those songs. Go dave
Beeka is her mothers voice, excellent
Mason was great in Fleetwood Mac. Not their best years for sure, and this is coming from a hardcore Green AND Nicks/Buckingham fan, but this album and tour is a favourite of mine.
What album you talkin' bout Silver Tongue?
Dave Mason leaves Buckingham for dead - and dave adds some of that original Blues influence.
I love the female singer!!! Has anyone seen his current tour??
Bekka reminds me so much of her mama. Bonnie.
I love this iteration of Mac. It is unfortunately not known.
Bonnie Bramlet's daughter?
Yes. Delaney & Bonnie's daughter. She also has a sister Michele.
Now we all know
Looks just like her Ma...
Interesting Mac lineup; Dave Mason a great artist
You can't say that it isn't Fleetwood Mac, when this name had have so much lineups under that name. Otherwise, Mick and John are Fleetwood Mac so...
And just like her mother, Bekka Bramlett sings her ass off!
Never knew of this iteration..with Dave Mason ? WTF ?
I wish they'd found Peter and Danny to join them. That would be something, but Dave is great and don't she look like her mom!
"Peter is not here, Jeremy is not here. And Danny is not here. It isn't Fleetwood Mac."
-OR-
"Where's Bob???"
-Some fan in 1975
Wait, wait, wait. The post-Peter band with Danny on lead was pretty damn good, chief. Have you not heard the Kiln House or Bare Trees albums??
Well played.
Maybe yes, maybe not. Buckingham Nicks were not as successful until they joined to Fleetwood Mac; or Say you Will album was #3 in Billboard while Christine solo album from 2004 didn't even chart.
No, but they own the band and all the rights over the name. They are like entrepreneurs and all they do is hire musicians for their company
I thought Christine was in this lineup.
Only in the studio, on the "Time" album. But she didn't want to tour.
So tell me something folks was this the period where Lindsay of course had gone and Christine were gone and they were in that law period before they reformed for the dance?
Mick was still keeping the band going but without all the regular players I guess at the time is that how this worked out there in Switzerland I was just curious
You would be wrong.
@@martyconroy3786 that's good to fucking know
That's why I goddamn asked

@@trfesok very neat good to know.
I just wondered how it came about with her.
Where is Christine?
Steve Thoma replacement her temporary.
Sounds like her mom
😮
you have this whole show available?
Ouch!!!!
I love Bekka Bramlett but this is NOT Fleetwood Mac!

Not the classic lineup, but it IS Mick FLEETWOOD and John M(A)C Vie...

Uh, no. Best rhythm section in rock n roll.
