Thank you so much for the close up shots. I love how Steve hit a few snags and showed how to resolve the problems. The pads and rotors I ordered arrived today. I thought the rears were missing the slide clips until I found this video which displayed how the pads just slide back and forth on the bare metal. You just saved me a bunch of time from mistakenly calling Power Stop's tech support to request slide clips! I can't thank you enough. I do however think it would be easier to compress the soft side of the caliper pin boot versus the pliers method. We shall see which winds up with less effort. Thanks again because this was the first video I've found that has the same setup as my 2016 Expedition.

I need to change my rotors on my 2017 Fird Expedition XLT. What years are compatible? Our local pick-n-pull doesn't know.

You didn't replace the rotor! All I needed to see was the rotor replacement.

All that's left to take off is the caliper bracket, basically 2 large bolts near the caliper bolts that were taken off in this video

Why is this video labeled pad and rotar replacement when the rotors are never replaced?

Because we explain how to remove the rotor too

Just replaced my Motorcraft (made in Canada) rotors and pads after 57,000 miles of suburban and city driving. Good luck getting that kind of mileage out of the Chinese Amazon garbage. And don't you think those rubber caliper pin guides have earned their retirement? They're probably like rock by now.

Yes the OE replacement parts are more than likely going to be your best bet when replacing the brakes on your Ford Expedition.

And be careful to not get grease onto the rotor or pads.
