thats is so bad ass man, i live in washington dc I am HUGE Lost boys fan, that is in one of my travels I plan on doing … i live minutes away from the iconic movie the exorcist
The lost boys is Peter Pan the dark 80s vampire version. Its amazing how much work on such a low budget was put into this film. An original masterpiece!
The Lost Boys was a BANGING soundtrack. From the 1st to the last song it was AWESOME. This movie was and still is a cult classic... (1987) The cast has aged GRACEFULLY. Edward Hermann, Benard Hughes, Brooke McCarter, Joel Schumacher, and Corey Haim are truly missed...Rest in Peace TALENTED gentlemen...🙌👏🙇♂️🙇♀️
which is what's kinda missing in today's movies. I remember back in the 80s the movie soundtrack would be just as successful (or important) as the movie. ie. top gun, breakfast club, purple rain, Less Than Zero etc.
@@webmasterd Well some shows and movies today have great soundtracks but the funny thing is there often about the 70's and 80's haha. Once upon a time in Hollywood and Stranger Things for example.
@@likilikiki right. a good example might be the Pulp Fiction soundtrack. That movie came out in 1995 so maybe doesn't really qualify as "movies today" but... it had a cool soundtrack. However, all the songs were based on songs of 50s, 60s, 70s. Unless its some Disney movie not many make songs strictly for a movie soundtrack anymore. Or if they do, its quite forgettable because I can't think of any song in the past decade where if I hear the song I think of the movie, and vice-versa. Maybe the last one was "Hero" by Nickelback from Spiderman.
I'm so glad this panel was able to exist with Joel still with us, thank you for the upload 💜 rest in peace Joel, Brooke and Corey 🙏 forever missed but never forgotten.
A few years after this movie I saw Billy wirth in Las Vegas at the circus circus walk by with a girl …. I made eye contact and he knew I knew …. And kept walking . It was like seeing a ghost he had that same walk from the movie and it was surreal
A remake will suck. Even if it's good, it won't have the magic because of joel schumacher's fashions, music, actors, sets etc... Some films can't be remade. This is one of them
The fact they are doing this reunion ON STAGE live, it will have a different vibe. The remake of Lost Boys didn't work when it was tried, Corey Feldman couldn't bring the magic on that remake.
If you had taken Tim out I wouldn't have watched over 200 times, Tim and his Sax had me at the start. The Entire Crew just friggin worked and everyone made that movie what it still is today. I finally got one of my bucket list checked off recently, I got to see Tim do the entire song on stage. I watched some of his work with Tina Turner. Oh man I hope I can see that Santa Cruz reunion of Tim. Jason (Micheal) was the second sexist heart throb of the film he is just beautiful and such a good actor. Keifer was awesome, Corey Hiam still makes me laugh even though I have watched that movie over 200 times, they were all awesome. Just love them all.
I also saw Tim perform the song on stage recently in New Orleans, and it was awesome!!!! He put on such a great show!!! 🖤❤️ Hope more people get the chance to see him, he is still going strong and looks great!! Love that he got all oiled up for the show and wore the iconic necklace/codpiece and everything too! 😍 He gives the people what they want!
I've been to Santa Cruz twice. When the sax guy talks about the place he's so right. I saw a little boy about 12 on a skateboard, long curly blonde hair and only wearing shorts. No shoes. Almost like the intro People are Strange kinda vibe.
This was dope to watch definitely a treat......we learn what really went into making the movie, what the actors were like and what went into getting/doing the roles.....all the magic behind it is why we love these panels and the movie...very grateful to have this done keep up the good work and God bless all the actors as well.
