Maybe it’s my age but I think the 80’s produced some of the most iconic movies. Watching these videos of those movies makes me feel old. How time flies.

This is still one of the best vampire movies ever made. Its got everything you could want in it.

After seeing the lyrics I always wondered if Star was David's sister.
I don't recall Lucy getting turned into a vampire, but looking at her, (Dianne Weist), then and now photos, I have to imagine that she is immortal.. She still looks INCREDIBLE!

OH NO HONEY, no remake desired, nor required here. This is one the best vampires movies ever filmed. Hot soundtrack, hot cast, everything was flawless. My God, the 80's nostalgia you get while watching this!! #TeamMarko😘

This movie does not need a remake. It was about as perfect as an 80s movie could get.
Leave this master piece alone! I haven't yet seen a remake that beats the original movie yet. The Lost Boy's was so well casted, written, shot and even the sound track was brilliant you will never be able to recreate the same feel of the movie.

I think it could be good. If it is done in the same spirit as the first one. Scary but funny at the same time. And updating it to include how we live our lives now, as opposed to the 80s. I think it could work.

Leave this movie alone. It's fine and doesn't need rebooted. It's one of my favorite movies and Jack Bauer is the reason I like vampires. And Billy is still one fine man.

A remake of "The Lost Boys" may be interesting, but NO REMAKE would be half as successful as this one. This is also a peice of nostalgia that WE want to hold onto. No remake.
You don't know that for sure. They could have David n Michael re show up n all as other people on the movie. Maybe still vampires.
@@michellelee4271 Given the fact that most of Hollywood is woke and care more about identity politics than they do in quality stories, the odds are a remake would suck ass. One of the main reasons Lost Boys is so good is because it's from another era that is so foreign today. Also, David died.

Jason Patric is also the grandson of the late Jackie Gleason, the comedian, the easy listening composer, the actor & sometimes the singer.
Diane Wiest looks phenomenal! She hasn’t aged at all. What a beauty!
She is just gorgeous and I have lived all the characters she has olayed.

One of my favorites. I never got bored of it. Watched it over and over again. I had an amazing crush on Corey Haim. I even wrote him a letter hoping that he would write back. Sadly he passed away.

Lost Boys was my first vampire movie from back when I was a kid. I still have a poster of them that came from a Teen Beat magazine.
I regret not having bought a poster when I had the chance. What a great movie.

The Lost boys, The Breakfast Club, The Goonies. Sixteen Candles, and many others was my favorites in and throughout the 80's. I'm 49 now. I was 10 years old and on in the 80's. 8 lived watching all these movies. One eyed Willie and the pirates in the Goonies. Got me into pirate movies. Mark Riley

Oh yeah, they'll remake it, since they have no new ideas in Hollywood. They remake everything hoping to make a quick buck on an already good idea. But.....as they always do with remakes, they'll completely RUIN it, and any good memories we have. LEAVE IT ALONE!

I saw Lost Boys at the cinema and have enjoyed introducing my kids to classics like this.
I don't believe any movie remake will make this one better, it is known as one of the best for its characters, soundtrack, setting and location as well as the make-up and props for the time, they did a great job by not over doing it. I would leave this one alone , it is still to this day one of the best ever made.

Kiefer has to be one of the top 5 best vampires....he just had that look.
There is absolutely NO NEED to remake it. Filmmakers nowadays are messing with original perfection as they already did way before starting with Psycho (1960) then from the 1970s and 80s to 1990. So don't destroy this one, The Lost Boys either.
