I have a lot of respect for the doctor who offers up less expensive suggestions in addition to his own more expensive product. He didn’t have to do that. Respect with a capital R.
Either that or he's affiliated with them. Lots of lower end mid-level products to choose form. Not sayin I know, just saying maybe.

I started seriously taking care of my skin at 22 now I’m 52 and people can’t believe that I’m 52 so start young. It makes a big difference. Stay out of the sun, don’t drink and definitely no smoking.

That was my guess. I certainly didn’t think he was gonna push some over-hyped GARBAGE product like vitamin c serum. Ugh.
Moisturizer is a scam
He’s said before that chemical sunscreen isn’t good so I was gonna say lotion and face wash
his serum is actually cheaper per ounce than Vichy's. Vichy lists $83/ fluid ounce (the bottle has about 1/3 of an ounce), while his is $50-60 for the container which is 2 ounces

I was trying to buy off his sight but only sets display on my phone rather than just one thing. I’m also allergic to aloe and all his products I got to see have aloe. Does his retinol cream have aloe in it?

I bought this brand after watching another of his videos. Be been using it for perhaps 2 months…1/2 the tube. It absorbs quickly and I believe I’m seeing a difference in my skin. Not sure my dark spots have faded much, but then again a tiny bottle of Skinceuticals Discoloration Defense @ $98 did absolutely nothing!

Some people’s reaction to vitamin A is really bad. When I use it I get wrinkles, 3 days later they’re gone.

I will be 47 this month and I rarely used make up or creams,moisturizers and the like,but its never too late to start taking better care of myself,including my skin, right? Thank you Doc. God bless!
Same, I am 47 soon and NEVER cared for my skin, until the pandemic hit. I saw immediate results with just a simple spray toner. So now i have a little routine and it feels good to actually do something nice for myself.
On top of these tips, cutting down on sugar and flours does wonders, too ;)
I recall our family doctor telling me, "all you need is retinol and good moisturizer!" And I have to say, it's true, people can't believe I'm over 40y/o.

Actually, all you need is moderate exercise and a good diet. Retinol does more harm than good.

I’m glad that I have recently started to take care of my skin, I’m 15 and while I don’t obsess over my skin taking care of my skin and knowing that I will look good when I get older fills me with confidence

@@brandi3981 not really. He treats women's skin and therefore he should know what beauty products to recommend to women who are pregnant. Especially since a lot of beauty products contain hormone disruotors. As a doctor of skin he should be able to treat skin in all its forms from young, to aged, to pregnant

I really appreciate Dr. Youn and respect his opinion. I think its wonderful that he is sharing his knowledge and providing a range of product suggestions to fit every budget. I also think he looks great and is a testament to his suggestions.
I agree 100%! He also said within the video to apply sunscreen daily, so there are THREE must-haves. Vit A/retinoids make your skin more sensitive to the sun and you will burn easier. So, find a good mineral, not chemical, sunscreen to wear daily.
You may want to reconsider. Retin-A actually thins the skin. No one talks about it but it does. And vitamin C is only really effective if you have a dietary deficiency, which is much easier to treat by eating fruits and vegetables, or taking a multi-vitamin.
