Too bad that the campaign is already broken - mission "kill 1800", I destroyed the workshops, blacksmiths and of course they keep producing top units and a lot of siege engines...
Hey there! I am Χριστόφορος. I am also known as 'BASEDTeuton', I believe we had a dialouge together on the forum a while back regarding your own campaign. Anyways, thanks for trying out the campaign! Below i'll just list a few usefull tips if you continue to play it: 1: Alexandros buffs all nearby militia-line units, including Pezhetairoi (the same as a regular centurion unit would do so) 2: In all of the scenarios, Alexandros will respawn after 4 minutes or if he is wounded (dies) 3: If you are finding the in-game volume or slides too quiet, I recommend turning the 'voice volume' in the settings higher. 4: The custom Macedonian civ can be found via a link on the mod page of this campaign.
@christos49 hey BasedTeuton! Ofcourse I remember you, you helped me when I was making my campaign, I had no idea it was you! That's a nice coincidence! 1/2- I will keep that in mind, I didn't notice 3- yeah, dialogs volume needed to be higher. 4- in next mission I will have it downloaded to get the full experience. Thanks for the awesome campaign and of course for the comment, you and ozzy did a great job, I did enjoyed the custom voice over too!
@@DemonAgeOfEmpires2-wf8lv Awesome! One last thing I will warn about is, since I know you are working on a Byzantine campaign, the graphical mods in this campaign will affect the Byzantines in the game (outside of the ALexander Campaign). To disable those graphical changes, simply unsubscribe from the mod.
@RobertLey60 unfortunately no. although I've seen spirit of the law mentioning it, and it's definitely one of my favorites. If there is no walk through on RUclips I might try to make one.
Hi Demon, glad to have found your channel! I am the same person as Age of Kings Heaven (AoKH) user John Mendl. I invite you to play the latest scenario I released in AOK Heaven Blacksmith (it uses Age of Empires 2: The Conquerors Expansion) It is named John Mendl 3. Into Swabia. (Not necesary to play John Mendl 1 and John Mendl 2 - they are available in Blacksmith since long ago if needed). There was a 13-year gap from the release of John Mendl 2, for the release of 'John Mendl 3. Into Swabia'. It has been designed with utmost quality of effort. It is a patiently planned, action-packed quest-filled adventure on a Large 8 Player Map. In AoKH, in Single Player Scenarios, you can see this scenario in the first page. There is a description is given on what this scenario is about and a link to screenshots. There is a README in AoKH on this scenario's page to guide with installation as it uses DAT Editing (instructions are clearly written). It also requires the UserPatch v1.4 (or higher) to be installed - link provided in its AoKH page itself.
@@rahulbalakrishnan8760 let me take a look, and I will come back to you. Thanks for the invitation, I really enjoy trying out mods, just give me some time to check it out🤝
@@DemonAgeOfEmpires2-wf8lv Thanks a lot for the response! Please note that mine is not using the Definitive Edition - rather uses our grand old Conquerors Expansion (with the harmless userpatch 1.4) and four DAT edited files - clearly mentioned in Readme so no confusion to install and easy to remove the edited Dat files back to old. All the very best!! John Mendl 3 is the real highlight - it is much much better than the old releases John Mendl 1 and John Mendl 2
@rahulbalakrishnan8760 yes I noticed it is in conquerors expansion, I used to play it a lot. As long as I am able to install the game, I will definitely take a look and hopefully make a review here on the channel🙂
@@DemonAgeOfEmpires2-wf8lv Features of this Scenario: *A quest-filled adventure that relies on strategic decision-making. Uses a Large (8 Player) map and will take a long time to complete. There is no build and destroy at all. *Multiple ways to play the game - Some of your decisions will significantly alter the course of the game. Map usage is extensive. *Introduces the Mendlon civilization and their unique unit - the Mellory. Mellories are swordsmen with powerful armor against both melee and archer attacks, but with less attack. *Witness the exquisite beauty of the countryside of Swabia as you travel around on your action-packed mission. *Filled with events that make you witness the story of John Mendl and his fight against Frederick III and what the Swabian populace is going through under Frederick's rule. *596 Triggers overall.
I hope you'll enjoy this scenario! Took us a long while to make it!
@ozzy-bj3ov I really enjoyed it so far, looking forward to the next mission :)
Great work guys!👏
@@DemonAgeOfEmpires2-wf8lv the next one is quite tough, and N3 isn't a joke either! But I'm sure you'll get through it easily!
@ozzy-bj3ov I will do my best although I am not that of a good player.. Let's see!
Nice work 👌

@christos49 I already encountered it and did exactly what you said, works fine!

What is the name of this scenario?
Alexander the great
Alexander the great campaign supposed to be belongs to AOE 1 not AOE 2
AoE2 is way better. I love the ancient scenarios for aoe2
@widodoakrom3938 this one is made for AoE2, you can try it
Cómo puedo descargar o jugar ese escenario?
Type "Alexander the Great" in mod section of AoE2
😮
Без самих разработчиков это бессмысленно. Боевые юниты не похожи на те что были тогда, крепости тоже
the accent is unbearable
Its completely legible, if you can learn to listen just a little bit.
