I found out about the wonders of self-heading Philos and never looked back! I looooove philos, but I can't be bothered with poles. Plus I find it amusing to say "I have a birkin" 🤣
Good to see someone else with the tropical-world-problems 😅and yes the plants thrive but it makes us humans sweat like a leaked pipe! Even just by sitting n not moving is enuf to make u sweat. Having said that… keeping up with the tropical rate growth IS crazy!!

Yes! God exists and God is real, he made everything out of nothing. Your philodendrons are just amazing! The Painted Lady is just wow! I had one and it wouldn't grow so I put it in water and it did nothing, then I chopped and it died. However, my Paraiso Verde is great. I propagated it and every stem thrived. Now I have 4 in one pot. Thank you for showing us your beautiful Philo. Not sure if you mentioned this, but what is your Philo wishlist? Adios! God bless
The Silver Sword is to many, very basic. But I agree with you, the leaf shape and color is very nice provided you keep them in the juvenile form. As with so many, as the plant gets larger and the leaves mature, they lose the shape and color (they become green and paddle shaped).
Oh that’s true about some of these plants loosing their leaf as they mature . I wonder why anyone would think the silver sword is basic , to me it’s so fantastic!
Have you ever thought about growing small fruit trees or gardening vegetables?. I just got my first dwarf lemon and orange trees and they make me so happy! Loving the indoor plant videos too
The way our Philodendron journey is so similar!!! Like I loved them, but now I’m good on them haha. I’m slowly reducing the number of philos in my house, like if I have one, you know I’m in love.

Oh self heading philos are great but they do take up space. My Birkin unfortunately passed away but it’s one Philodenron I don’t mind getting again
