Yo congrats!! I never thought of lv1 solo stuff until your deathguise vid, now this one! Definitely the 2 run killers, they both need at least 1 dark matter I see, cause tossing an ether will give them an extra turn to potentially wipe. Really cool!!

So a few questions and this time I'll use proper grammer the best I can so you don't miss interpret my comment into thinking I'm yelling at you because of these !!!!!
And I'll do my best to word these questions in a way where it doesn't seem like I'm trolling you or hating on your videos, that wasn't my intention.
When I first left a comment on your video telling you to do those challenges on the OG PSX version your immediate response was "it's the exact same do it yourself!" With FF9 being my favorite video game of all time and having played the PS4, Nintendo Switch, Moguri Mod, and OG PSX version I can tell you right now, each versions don't feel identically the same. But let's just say they are the same as you've claimed that's where my questions begin
If all the remasters are in fact identically the same as the OG PSX version, then how come when I speed run both versions and button mash through the scripted dialogs it feels quick and smooth on the PSX version, but feels like there's a button input delay on the remastered versions including Moguri Mod?
How come the super bosses feel easier to defeat on the remastered versions of the game? Even with boosters turned off they still feel easier.
How come obtaining King Of Jump Rope and Athletes Queen feels easier on the remasters over the PSX? Even impressing all 100 of 100 nobles on any of the remastered versions feel easier and more forgiving, then the OG PSX version which feels more difficult and unforgiving.
If they are in fact the exact same then wouldn't that imply to the entire game not just battle?
My final question for you is why did you delete your video humiliating Ozma while stealing all items?
If you can at least answer my questions on this comment, I'll subscribe to your channel, and when I decide to revisit FF9, which will be here pretty shortly since I've been a few of the other Final Fantasy games, then those challenges I told you to do on the PSX version, I'll do it myself on the PSX version, and I'll make it as a video response to your video to show the audience that it is in fact possible to do on the original version as well. After all you did tell me to do it myself, since you came up with the challenges it only feels right to make it as a video response too yours.

As you can understand, I get several comments every day and there is always some troll. When you wrote to me, as you said, I thought you were one of them, so I answered you rudely. I apologize for that.
At no time did I say that the entire game was identical, if I remember correctly we were talking about Ozma. Ozma has the same script in all versions, at least that is what Tirlititi told me. One difference that I have noticed is that when you complete the friendly monsters sidequest, in the PSX version when Ozma uses Doomsday, he receives damage that goes from 9000 to 9999 (almost always 9999) while in the PC version the damage goes from 5000 to 8500 more or less. In that aspect, it could be said that Ozma is easier in the PSX version because he does more damage to himself.
As for the input delay that the new versions of FF9 have, I agree with you, I never said otherwise.
I don't know if the bosses are easier in the new versions because it's been like 15 years since I played the PSX version. As for the minigames, I can't tell you if they're easier or harder either.
I deleted that video because I received a message from RUclips telling me that several people had reported the video and that I could receive a strike, also something related to copyright, as I didn't want that to affect my channel I decided to delete it. It was one of my favorite FF9 videos (in fact I think it had like 10,000 views), I had to repeat that fight many times because I wanted to steal all four of its items on the first try. I was also very lucky with Meteor's damage that didn't kill Zidane. The truth is that the video was really good and it really pissed me off to have to delete it.
You can subscribe if you want or not, I really don't care how many subscribers I have or how many views my videos get, this is just a hobby and I do it for fun, if people learn something from my videos all the better, I'm happy for them.
What challenges do you want to do on the PSX version exactly? It might be interesting.

Thanks for responding in a mature and civil manner now I have a better understanding. Hell I'd be pissed too, can't believe that video was reported.
Anyways the challenges I wanna do is humiliating Ozma under a minute. I believe it can be done on the original version, as for stealing all items from him I'd rather not since I know steals are based off RNG lol.
I am currently working on a different challenge "Defeating friendly yan without Auto Haste and Auto Life as support abilities or fixed 9999 damages" so far no luck. My last resort is to maximize everyone's speed in the hopes I'll get to act quicker. These are my character set ups
Zidane (obviously by default however im gonna have him throw echo screens on Dagger/Garnet)
Garnet for healing purposes(im choosing her instead of Eiko because I don't wanna be carried by phoenix)
Steiner for his Excalibur 2 combined with shock damage
Amarant for his flair abilities(also because I don't wanna be carried by Quina either)
Another challenge I had in mind was Dagger and Eiko being able to physically attack reaching at least 9000 hit points (9999 if I'm lucky) against Hades similar to your Dagger hitting like a truck video.
As for the other challenges I'll figure it out as I playthrough the game. Don't feel like typing it all out on here lol.

As a man I feel like I owe you an apology as well. I'm sorry for the way I worded my comments in the past before. I hope this can all be water under the bridge and we can put this behind us.
BTW props for the challenges you came up with and managed. I should've given you the props earlier. Believe it or not and and a few other youtubers re motivated me into speed running the game again. Even though it's not online, eventually once I get the right equipment for professional videos with good quality I'll segment the run. I can't do a full blown speed run since the requirements are harsh and in general I just don't have 10 hours spare time on my hands.

@@thevangsta9892 Yeah i think you can kill Ozma under a minute, even in less than 50 seconds. For that you would need Ozma to use Death (it is the attack of the 6 that he can start with that has the shortest animation) and for him not to use any counter.
It's going to be very difficult for you to keep up without using fixed damage attacks because he has a defense and a magic defense of 255. It may be possible to kill him but the fight will last for hours lol. You have to keep in mind that Friendly Yan has a speed of 50 and that he will counter any damaging attack you do plus he will get also his ATB turn, he will end up attacking you twice.
If you need help with Eiko/Dagger to deal 9999 damage, feel free to ask me, I can help you.
I accept your apologies. Don't worry.
Thanks, have fun and good luck!

The real question is how many attempts did it take?

    • @KFCPhantasm
      @KFCPhantasm  3 месяца назад

@@TheStrahl Around 50 (counting all attempts with the different setups). If i count the final setup that i used, which is the most consistent, around 20. But as you well know, it all depends on the RNG.
