I know people don't like ebike reviews, BUT this ebike opens the door for summertime camping trips.
My wife and I got e bikes last march dan, I have a heart condition and it has helped me get out and about in the country lanes around where we live, I have done1300 miles since march, I would like one that is good for off road so I could go on the bridle ways as well as roads, we got pannier bags and we put a tarp in in with our gas stove and cooking gear and go out for picnic, we keep thinking about trying a night out under the stars but it’s a lot to pay out if my health stops it. Back in the summer I was doing a minimum of 100 miles over the weekend with my wife, she loves her e bike, she has a basket on the front and buys eggs from beside the road lol
I actually njoy ur ebike review.. i am actually slowly setting up my spare ebike for camping.. should be fun.. Nakxus F1.. simiilar in desgn to this one you are reviewing.. thank you for yiur review..
You can limit speed on all ebikes ,and even if you dont limit it chances of it been seized are slim to none, just look at all the delivery driivers on ebikes,do you think theres are limited?no chance, just enjoy the bike mate👍
Just got this very bike, same colour as well. Love it. Ive done 60 miles in a week. Doesnt sound much but the weather has been so bad. Its powerful. I use it on tiny country roads but in Wales we have really steep hills and the 1000w motor gets me up all of them. Its illegal but ive never even seen the police where I cycle. The issue would be if you had a crash and there was an insurance claim against you. Youll find the battery lasts well on the flat but the bars on the battery go down when you use the assist more on hills.
Twist and go not legal here in the UK and power/speed possibly as well. All standard electric bikes are limited to a max of 15.5mph assisted speed, and 250W output.
agreed.. Singapore ebike standard and uk is the same.. think we followed UK style.. 25km/h.. 20kg.. only pedal assist.. less then 70cm wide (measured by handlbar)..
Think ebike camping and bushcraft is a giant step forward. Helps us recce a good pitch that would be hard in ordinary circumstances, using Shanks's pony. And youre right about the speed thing. 15mph is more than enough, even allows us to use a bike trailer too for our kit. The faster you go, the quicker the battery will burn out and the less miles youll clock up. Makes you wonder what treats we have in store in the future Dan, cheaper prices for some quality bikes, batteries getting more advanced....could be very interesting. Love the idea of a fold up ebike
Totally illegal in the UK. Doesn’t matter how you look at it.
Not compliant with UK law on several counts.
Dan I really enjoy yr videos but the bike dan don’t worry the power, the old bill won’t pull you as long as yr not hooning being a dck, honest dan because it has the power which it has I tried it,your a responsible guy with hillls if there to steep bang it to 5 and sail up it,enjoy it Dan when yr used to what it can do yr regret getting it neutered lol, sorry again mate I enjoy yr vids enjoy the bike
Good man making sure sage is secured whilst driving.. 👍👍
It looks kids bike, reminds me of a chopper, lol, 🚲very cool though for spring & summer. I can't wait for the warmer weather to get out on my bike 🚲 again. 🌞
Dan i don't think you should worry about canal towpaths they are mostly flat ish!! Probably do em on standard pedal cycle...next vid?? Obviously places like 5 rise locks Bingley and others are exceptions.
Great informative vid as usual...big up the buttershaw comp!!!
I think it was "Simon, a Bloke in the Woods" who got his e-bike altered.
2 tons it can take dowt it the welds will snap at 150kg and dont store it in your house as e powered stuff are nown for catching fire
Love the colours. Looks cool, does allow for a luggage rack.
I don't think we can add one
put a little trailor on back that you put on peddle bikes and you can take all the gear you like
you could even get that folding cot tent bed and rig it up to it
Yeh watch those pedals I had them on my folding bike and they soon snapped and was left with a little stump to try and pedal on I would definitely replace them if your going to keep it .
Don't worry about the power aswell as long as you ride sensibly and have a helmet on and not going crazy the police leave you alone it's when you start endangering yourself and others when they get involved.
Thank you for your comment
Hope u have a cbt
No 😅
Insurance wont make any difference when you fall off it with no helmet 🤷🏻♂️
If you are only using it on canal paths and off road i wouldn't worry about de restricting the power mate. I have done just over 2000 miles on my 5kw 50mph ebike and not had any trouble at all. As long as you slow down when riding close to other people and not riding like a lunatic you should be fine. Cant wait to see what adventures you are able to go on this thing.
It looks great. It's a pity. it's illegal in the uk .great review, mate 👍 god bless .😊.and happy camping 🏕 🙏 😀 😊. Lee
Happy new year!
I think there is laws against the option for it to be twist and go in the uk, it might need to be registered with the dvla and have insurance I think. A lad I know had his sized just because of the twist and go. Might be something to look into mate. All the best.
I'm looking into what I need to do mate. 100% insurance
You're ok at 4mph...that comes under walk assist, any faster, it starts to cross the line as an electric moped
as long as you don't ride like a tool that would pass at a glance as a 250w, I'd imagine it's 1000w peak, and maybe 500-750w normal, throttles are allowed for the first 5mph as far as I'm aware, to find a rough charge time divide the battery Ah by the chargers output
Thank you for watching
I wouldn’t worry about power etc you wouldn’t be different to every other delivery bike in these cities especially Cambridge. Some of them are not even pedal assist and just riding around on electric like a converted old scooter. No numberplate nothing just carry on mate don’t worry about it.
That's a keeper! 👍👍 Those pedals are easy swapped out for some nice wide Alum ones, but you will need a pedal-wrench.
Could it be as simple as putting a sticker over the power rating, with a LOWER power? once it get covered in muck the cops wont notice 💪💪👌
Can you put a rack on the back so can carry lets say your camping gear?
I don't think so, but there is another ebike where we can
as long as your using it on pedal assist mode its perfectly legal to use on public land / roads but in the twist and go mode that will fall under the moped laws and will need a licence and insurance :)
the site says it's hydraulic disc brake .. it's actually mechanical disc brake .. hydraulic is those motorcycle type .. mechanical uses grip caliper to grip the disc rotor to a stop ..
I will look into that ... thank you
Was just looking if I'd watched all your vids and this pops up. Meant to be. Thanks 👍
Sorry its not a camping video
@@englishwoodsman good video mate. Thank you
Yes mate👍🏽
Nice bike. You should have put cam on tripod and showed us how it accelerates.
Thinking of getting one of these any problems with bike
No, it's a good ebike. It's a fantastic size to fold up for the car
My son has a similar bike , older model. This looks much nicer. Only thing is cost of replacement tyres at about £60 each and £10 each for inner tubes. But really comparible with most tyre sizes.
2000kg max load 🤔 that seems very high 🤷🏻♂️
I would say it is closer to 150 kg max like most fat tyre ebikes
I got the gogo best gf 600 i think, looked at these but heard bad things about the frames
Looks amazing that does mate I wouldn't be bothered about the power gets you to the camp faster then yesssssiiii
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Happy New years dan have you got a camping video tomorrow
Will do mate thank you for watching
Seems a good bit of kit with some clever features.
Looking forward to taking this on the canal this summer
Hello good Review. Is this really good bike? Im looking for my first ebike but i dont wanna throw my money. Thank you
Does it need to be a folding one ?? If not I can highly recommend this one

@@englishwoodsman yes for me its best option to be folding. Im looking Fiido m1 pro also and i dont know what option Is better? Thank you mate
Is it heavy?
27kg
15pmh 1000watts would go faster , I bet it’s a Chinese copy of the Mi e-bike ,
But still looks a good bike .DJ audit has one a Mi e-bike the one you have is a copy of that
Them Chinese people copying all the time 🤣🤣🤣
I would love an ebike
There ok it's just more of a pain with storage
👍👍
Did you say max weight capacity of 2000 kilos!!!
Yes, mate, that's what the website says
@@englishwoodsman that's amazing.
It's 200KG. 2000KG is 2 tonnes, the weight of a 5 series BMW
Does have a way to charge the battery in your car?
Never thought about it. If it did it might take to long
Tis not a bad bit of kit that and looks funky too 🎉🎉🎉
It's going to be nice on the canals in the summer
@@englishwoodsman Bradford to Bingley five rise and that, over to skipton oooowa, cannot wait to get up home away from London...
Great video on the e-bike
Thank you
its only
200KG
Max Load
2000 would be nearly 2 tonne
Did I hear you say it holds 2000kg ?
Yes, that is what the website says
Must be a misprint. More likely 200kg max I'd say
Thanks Dan ,looks alright @@englishwoodsman
15ah battery .. unless its on speed number one which runs at around 12km/h .. no way it can go 130km .. really don't know who would use a 1000w motor to run at 25km/h .. 250w motor does the job smoothly .. I own 2 ebike cause I am a delivery rider .. and I know how to mod one as well ..
Thankyou for watching
Another great video Dan. Think i saw you round langsett new years day morning when i went for a walk with my family but got a bit starstruck and got in two minds whether it was you or not and whimped out of saying hello haha, sorry if it was you, happy new year mate, love all the videos.
If it was new year day I don't think it was me mate . But if you do see me just say hi
You've definitely got a twin somewhere then mate 😂
I'm a biggun, 6 foot 3. 320 pounds. How much? TAKE MAH MONAYYYYY!!!!
English wobbly bike woodsman lol
😂😂😂😂😂
Other e bike dan
👍👍⛺️⛺️👍👍
👍👍👍
Good informative video Dan thanks for sharing 👍
Looks great Dan. I wouldn't worry about the twist and go as others have said. You're not going to be racing around like a yob so the police aren't going to be bothering about you. Im a very keen cyclist and do a lot of road and off road miles each year so if you want some help in sorting some routes to ride let me know.
No hope this will give you 130km range. Be lucky to get half that
I say about 80km. Only Time will tell when I use it more
@@englishwoodsman it will really depend on how much you use the throttle. If you are in assist mode only on one of the lower speed settings, it will maybe get you to 60/70km but them 1000w motors love to eat the battery. Obviously also depends heavily on the terrain and weather but don’t be surprised to see less than 50km range when using only the throttle. Also make sure to charge it straight after every use. The batteries don’t like sitting around at low levels, especially in the colder months
I’d love an e-bike in my life. Attach a child trailer on the back for n the hot tent kit
I don’t think you need to restrict the power for UK as the speed is restricted to 16 mph
If not that would be great .
I'm quit impressed with this bike. 2000kg? Is this correct Dan?
200kg
200kg not 2000kg 😅
As an e-mountain biker these fat tyres are not as good as the standard thinner normal MTB tyres, they fatter they are the more you slip about.
That's a joke RUclips doing that , I would of entered I need a bike to get mobile again.
What do you mean please ?
@@englishwoodsman not allowing you to do a give away . Plenty of channels do and for what I've seen it's not for promoting their channel just passing on stuff they have reviewed on their channel . I was in a motorcycle accident last year and I've lost confidence on the road i used to do alot of cycling even did a charity ride to Cornwall from Gravesend ive not cycled for about 8 years as a car knocked me off on a round about. Thats why i got a motorcycle lol . I've been wanting to get an ebike but they are pricy to get something that will last .
ruclips.net/video/xIOD6vwowZs/видео.htmlsi=I2AHFKUaoylli14R this was my cycling accident that 1st knocked my confidence l@@englishwoodsman
2 ton? I will get rid of the van then. Poor review Dan mate
This video was always going to be bad but in the summer to bike will look better when I'm canal camping
Nice one mate hope its not flooded up there
It's bad in place mate
@englishwoodsman okay mate stay dry if you can great vids once again 👍
Put a helmet on you helmet lol
Dan it’ll carry 200kg not 2000 mate lol nice lookin bit a kit.
🙂👍
Hi bob
Put a helmet on
Why review something that's illegal in the UK but you can pay loads to get it de powered yes coz we've all got money to burn what a load of tosh this video is you have let the chanel down Mr woodsman is a load of crap
If you don't like this video, don't watch!! It's my channel. I will upload whatever I want. Like I said this ebike will be great for my summer plan. I HAVE NOT LET MY CHANNEL DOWN AT ALL . like I say just don't watch
Wow all those regulations you guys have how sad to live that way being restricted so much in your basic everyday life, USA USA 🇺🇸 USA 🇺🇸 USA 🇺🇸 freedom baby!
If that's what you call it
We have even more restrictions on firearms, thank god for it.........UK Baby yeah !!
Mate you worry too much lol, we ain't supposed to do more than 30mph in uk but let's face it we all do, what makes you think the police are actually going to pull you over and test the power on your bike 🤣🤣🤣 just ride the bloody thing
They just look awful though get a real bike stay fit
I don't enjoy normal bike . Its each to there own mate
Come on dan,put a helmet on bud,i had a low speed crash last year, helmet saved my life, you never know!
I really should get one
Don’t bother Dan. They are very overrated.
Didn't get a free one 🤣🤦🏻♂️
Born in the 70s don't need one😂
