Yeah you missed it, that part starts at 11:30 If you still don’t get how he did it, you might want to do more digging on how to monetize Pinterest. I’ll give you three ways rn just to give you an idea. Affiliate links, blogging which will help you build an email list if you offer a free guide or if you sell a digital product. Pinterest is used as a traffic source. Just like you see how people are promoting digital products on TikTok? It’s like that but Pinterest and a different strategy since Pinterest is an SEO platform like Google.
Hey! Thanks - I'm confused at the end- seems like you made a url to post the pins to- who is the lady on the side- I guess that's where I"m getting confused, and how this makes you money...
I think you might need to build a blogging website in order for you to have an article url to attached on your pinterest pins. On the website you must have some kind of monetisation like add or products to sell for the commission. That's how you make money from my understanding.
Ok you convinced me. I'll join the forum. I make 3 pins a day and it's a struggle. I'm now at 250000 impressions/m and rising by 3000 every day. All the other stats are rising too. I need to scale, making pins is driving me potty.
I'll see you in there! When you join post in one of the Pinterest threads and tell us what you have going on - drop a chart w/ outbound clicks and let's do it.
Man It would be great if you can share how many affiliate link clicks or over sales these impressions are creating, asking to just have an idea how much time and activity it takes to make the first affiliate sale . It just been a month I started posting, 5 pins a day and my account is on 2k impressions but no other activities like link clicks, saves or repins. Thanks
The only thing I can say is build pins in your niche not based on what’s trending else it will be hard to monetize. But yea initially horizontalize content strategy and go broad.
@@Ghostjam1 Thanks for the info! Question: how many outbound links there are in those 40-50 pins ? I mean, do you point all pins at one or multiple URLs ? Thanks 🙏
I'm confused with your Pinterest strategy for Bonsai Mary. I see lots of pins. Most about decor which is not a category in the main menu of the website. The most recent pins also don't have a link. But the ones that do click through the website but I don't see any affiliate links (the beautiful images aren't hyperlinked) and I don't see ads on the site. So how are you making money from Pinterest?

Thanks for the video. You have a great way of giving instructions that make sense and don't leave things out or skip around. There are others who obviously know what they are doing, but are terrible teachers. Good job on being clear.
I'm new to Pinterest so I'm a little lost. I don't even know what a pin is yet. I have an Etsy shop, so I'm looking to use Pinterest for selling products. I'm definitely interested.
Etsy is perfect. If you can get people on Pinterest to look at your pins, then you can get people to click the link in your pins to redirect them anywhere (in your case Etsy) where we can assume a certain percentage of people may be interested in your product.
Awesome and bold. Thanks 🙏 Question: how many unique URLs go as outbound links into those 100 pins a day ? I mean, do you point all pins at single blog post/page or spread pins across multiple blog posts/pages ? Thank you 🙏
Great question and the answer is that it depends. Informational posts are hard to have multiple pins point to one URL whereas design pins are easy (as demonstrated in the video)
You all ask how to monetize traffic and do not understand the main thing - today the main problem is to find traffic, and how to monetize it has long been no such problems. The video shows a way to generate traffic.
Thanks Jess, I understand trying to get people to click and get to our website, but my problem is I have a website related to gardening and home decor but can’t find affiliate programs on this niche …any idea?
