Approach wakes at either 45 degrees or 90 degrees with your helm straight before you hit the first wake and keep it straight until you get into the flat water behind the boat you are crossing behind (the bubbles) or continue riding through the second set of wakes after crossing the bubbles of the boat you are passing behind. Always bring your speed down a bit when crossing if #1: The wake is medium to large relative to the size of your vessel, and #2: If you are heavily loaded, or #3: Any combination of the previous two.
