Best I've ever seen you look Helen. Seasalt is worth every penny, the quality is superb. Such a difference in the cut of those dresses and eg., M&S. These look ten times more expensive. Better quality fabric, just hangs better and makes you look slimmer. I find their linen is such good quality that it doesn't crease the way - again - M&S (and many other brands) do. I've had quite a bit of M&S linen and it's dreadful quality, screws up like an old rag in the wash and doesn't last more than one season. You get what you pay for and those "grown up dresses", make you look more expensive, more elegant and slimmer, Helen. Great choices too. BTW they have their own Ebay shop with great discounts.

You are getting a lovely tan. I loved the blue dress on you, but that is your color for sure. You proved today why your hauls are so helpful. The difficulty of getting a garment on and off, is a major deal especially for some of us that are not grown up, but aging. The dress you called typical British in the 40s and 50s reminded me of what my mother used to call a housedress here. We live in the US, but in that era my mom basically wore dresses exclusively and they were often styled like that.
95% of my wardrobe is Seasalt and I keep saying I don't need any more but the styles and patterns are so lovely I can't resist them. The three dresses looked lovely on you, particularly the Charlotte, which suited your hair colour and my favourite of the three.
I do like Sealsalt and the items looked great on you. I usually look out on Vinted or the charity shops. It's so lovely to pay a compliment as people's faces light up. It's been a bit of a week for me Helen. I'd had a mammogram and got recalled and ended up having a biopsy, in my heart I felt I was ok as really I think they were being ultra careful. Luckily I am cancer free. I got my results yesterday ( feel for others who may not have got a negative result) so that was a relief but sadly yesterday I had to put my beautiful cat Marmalade down. Me and hubby are sooooo sad but I guess that's the love. Hubby has mental health issues and Marm was such a good friend to him. We are all in this life together with it's ups and downs. Hope that's OK to share xxx

Hi Helen, I think the white tee & mustard skirt looked amazing on you. I was told that linen should be steamed as it relaxes the fibres & causes soft creases whereas ironing hardens fibres & creases are sharper. I wear a lot of linen in the summer here in Oz & always steam it & don’t worry too much about creasing . Xx

Helen, the denim jumpsuit looks like something women wore in a munitions factory during WWII. Loved the gold dress and the orange striped jumper. The longer I watch you I feel as though we could sit and have a good “ blether” as my Scottish mum would have said, We are coming back to the UK for the month of August to escape our hot Virginia heat and visit friends and family.

City Fibre laid cables in the pavements in my area about 18 mths ago, so had a neat, straightforward installation back in January. The colours of the dresses looked fab on you, such a beautiful green, kingfisher blue and mustard. Having a suntan made them pop 🌞
Something worth mentioning is Seasalt now do a short/petite length in a lot of styles. In the past I’ve always found their dresses and trousers too long so pleased to see shorter options. It’s great to see a brand offering such a good range of sizes.
I have always avoided this brand as the clothes always look dowdy. However I couldn't believe how lovely the dresses looked on you and now I'm eager to try them to see how they would look on me. X

Bowel screening every two years up until our 75th birthday. After these ages anyone can ask to have either test if they want to. Xx

I love Seasalt (not that I’m biased - I was born in Cornwall!). If I was to criticise I would say their styles are somewhat predictable - but the quality is always there. In fact I bought a really large flowery sun hat from them yesterday in their sale. Shame about the jumpsuit as it fitted really nicely around your bottom - living alone I would have found it impossible to get on! Great video. Thank you. X
Hello Helen! I liked the blue linen dress and the striped jumper, but they are a tad pricey and they didnt WOW me Haha. Nice quality white tee and I liked the sleeves. Glad you had a nice camping trip; oh... We just had high speed cable put in the entire neighborhood and what a pain!! They wanted in and out of our back yard, they pulled up parts of trees and caused a loud ruckus for 2 months!!! What a mess! Oh, I hear my grandbaby.....later😍
I have only ever purchased one Seasalt top. It was quite expensive for a top but was lovely. However, it shrunk quite a lot in a 30 degree machine wash which was as instructed… so I’m reluctant to buy again, although I love the style.

Hi Helen. Sea salt are a great brand, the colours are beautiful. Personally I loved the Charlotte dress. A recent film I watched with ‘Miranda’ where she played a housewife in the 50s. Anyway she wore a couple of these sort of dresses….as you say a classic. Loved the dress on you, a definate keeper. To be honest I like the jump suit too but if you cannot get it on and off sensibly then, a waste. Stripes are fab and the jumper is you. Thanks for sharing xx

Hi Helen. Gosh- the last part of your journey home sounded very frustrating with all the roadworks and the rubbish collectors! Still, it all worked out in the end. I did like that mirrored make up box from Lidl- very handy for travelling. The petrol blue is such a gorgeous colour on you and I love linen in the summer.The mustard colour dress is a gorgeous classic and timeless design and I really liked it on you. I thought the denim jumpsuit was the nicest I’ve seen you in but what a shame about the dysfunctional design. If you Google hayfever and infrared treatment you will see that it does help - not sure if appropriate for your little grandson but maybe worth a little research xxx

I love Seasalt most of the time. I bought a lovely sea green jacket. I would have bought the matching dress. But it was maxi (Chateau maxi dress) which I didn’t want and didn’t have pockets. And I told them that was the main reason I didn’t buy it! But I do like their clothes and they do suit you.

I love Seasalt (not that I’m biased - I was born in Cornwall!). If I was to criticise I would say their styles are somewhat predictable - but the quality is always there. In fact I bought a really large flowery sun hat from them yesterday in their sale. Shame about the jumpsuit as it fitted really nicely around your bottom - living alone I would have found it impossible to get on! Great video. Thank you. X

Hello Helen! I liked the blue linen dress and the striped jumper, but they are a tad pricey and they didnt WOW me Haha. Nice quality white tee and I liked the sleeves.

We just had high speed cable put in the entire neighborhood and what a pain!! They wanted in and out of our back yard, they pulled up parts of trees and caused a loud ruckus for 2 months!!! What a mess!

I have only ever purchased one Seasalt top. It was quite expensive for a top but was lovely. However, it shrunk quite a lot in a 30 degree machine wash which was as instructed… so I’m reluctant to buy again, although I love the style.

Hi Helen. Sea salt are a great brand, the colours are beautiful. Personally I loved the Charlotte dress. A recent film I watched with ‘Miranda’ where she played a housewife in the 50s. Anyway she wore a couple of these sort of dresses….as you say a classic. Loved the dress on you, a definate keeper. To be honest I like the jump suit too but if you cannot get it on and off sensibly then, a waste. Stripes are fab and the jumper is you. Thanks for sharing xx

Seasalt is a wonderful company and this year I have bought two new summer dresses. You have some lovely things in your haul, but I do agree about the jumpsuit - how on earth will you manage to use the bathroom and get it buttoned up again?

Seasalt is definitely quality and I love their patterns but I do find their clothes very grown up as you said lol….and I’m 60! I like their styling but don’t feel ready for it….YET! That said I love the jumpsuit but understand and avoid the difficulties at all costs lol

Hi Helen. Gosh- the last part of your journey home sounded very frustrating with all the roadworks and the rubbish collectors! Still, it all worked out in the end. I did like that mirrored make up box from Lidl- very handy for travelling. The petrol blue is such a gorgeous colour on you and I love linen in the summer.The mustard colour dress is a gorgeous classic and timeless design and I really liked it on you. I thought the denim jumpsuit was the nicest I’ve seen you in but what a shame about the dysfunctional design. Obviously this brand is quite pricey but you can tell the pieces are well made and of good quality.💖🌸

I am sitting here in a winter Seasalt jumper because it is bloomin’ freezing here in Cornwall. I have the same problem as you, 16 at the top & 18 on the hip. Difficult isn’t it? Love the blue dress on you 🙂💜

If you Google hayfever and infrared treatment you will see that it does help - not sure if appropriate for your little grandson but maybe worth a little research xxx

I love Seasalt most of the time. I bought a lovely sea green jacket. I would have bought the matching dress. But it was maxi (Chateau maxi dress) which I didn’t want and didn’t have pockets. And I told them that was the main reason I didn’t buy it! But I do like their clothes and they do suit you.
