Excellent build. I made 2 very similar racks last year for our bikes. I only added a small channel on the two hooks to prevent the weight from damaging the cable under the crossbar. Apart from that, I did it almost the same way as you have done here. Nice one.👍👍
Cool design! Just a thought, but a person replicating this could A. Probably be fine not doubling the plywood thickness as you did, and B. Could make a lap joint where the arms went around the top and bottom of the backing plate rather than a mortise and tenon. The advantage there would be the whole thing could be made on the table saw with a lot less effort and pretty similar strength. Thanks for sharing! Going to make two today.

Nice. The channel is a good idea!
Perfect! I love how these free up the floor space.
Keep it up!
Thank you
Very excellent job. And I got an idea for some garden hand rails while I was watching so thanks for that too! Cheers mate and stay healthy.
Thanks Mark I am really glad the project triggered a new idea.
Thanks for sharing those tips and the make!

Not sure if strength would be similar. I think it would be much more weak. Mi bicycle is pretty heavy. Perhaps it would work with light weight bikes.
Good one bit looking for something simpler that most diyer could do with common tools.
is it possible to use it as a rapair stand? and 33 cm is enough?
GooD)))))))
Thank you
What varnish did you use? Good job
Thank you. I used clear water based satin varnish.
@Scrap wood City thank you for answer
