*I was expecting a lot of shortcuts to be taken at this price. I was wrong. Decent quality **Latest.Bike** raker . Easy on easy off.*
Just brilliantly simple design, thanks for sharing
Good job slow like a promenade king in his garden good ideas 😊
what a design. amazing
Clean and Smart build thanks for the idea good sir
Thanks for the watch and comment!!
Nice! I can do this to hold a cello or guitar.
Very neat idea! I recently found out (after hundreds of pocket-holes) that the pocket-hole drillbit works a bit neater on high rpm. It´s more of a milling operation than drilling. Try it out on a piece of scrap.
Thanks for the suggestion! This was my first attempt using one.
called a french cleat ... just a simple fyi
Good work
smart as ever
Clever design. Can you do a build video on that portable workbench you're using? It's probably perfect for people setting up a small apartment workshop. Thanks!
Haha, I just saw this - I wish I had time to be more active lately but if you're talking about the 4x4, that's super funny :) Thanks for watching!
Genius. Particularly like the way the holding triangle simply hangs off the "wall wood" mount.
Thanks! That's called a "french cleat"
Thank you for the additional information, always learning.
Math.....so cool 😎
A handyman your not painful to watch
Care to elaborate with constructive criticism? Or just going to stick with the criticism?
nice one, but safety reasons I would add a lock to tie the cycle and mount.
Could you explain the length of the one that goes on the wall and the length of the 2 that receive the bike please? Thanks
Very nice. Curious as to why you installed it so low, saved zero space and have a fixed gear on it so not a dirt on floor issue.
I was simply looking for a solution to hold it as the bike doesn't have a kickstand. Saving space wasn't a requirement.
@@TimNummy then lean it against the wall

dude, people like you are annoying.
Ayyy que simple
Hi all this Number!!!! Should work for the NASA good ideas simples to do and quick good I Wonder if this can hold a bike in space
Could you give all the pieces measurements so that the bike can stand 9 inches outside the wall?
Thanks
Okay, the materials cost you zero. But all those tools, man!
Very clever and exhibits your woodcraft skills. Am I an unskilled/bad environmentalist if I forgo the 3 hour project and go to Walmart, buy a wall rack for $10.99, screw it into a stud and use the rest of my 2.5 hours to ride?
That’s what I was thinking, and I’m a woodworker. 😂
It took longer to make the video than the holder and it was free. It's like only a 15-20 minute project... which is faster than I could get back and forth from the nearest Walmart anyway.
could you please post for me the dimensions for a 26x3 inch tire
I need help
Trig. class...lol 😊
That looks really good for the cable... and only works for certain bikes.
Nice low-key criticism.
You lost me on the white board bro. 👍🏻💪🏻✊🏻
Pythogoras' Theorem
Drywall?
You should be able to make that smaller
So many unnecessary steps watch without sound and its hilarious how many times he put one piece of wood over another lines it up then totally removes it and drills into the bottom piece! Or stacks all the lengths up aligns them then ignores that and cuts something else very odd
Literally one of the worst woodworking videos I’ve seen. It was painful to watch.
Yeah, could definitely be refined - I was designing it and building it in real time on camera. All the preliminary math was mostly movie magic 😉
D = a•1.414
D: diagonal
a: side
9• 1.414= 12.726 way faster 😜🤯
you can buy wall hocks for a buck apiece
Its like Einstein building a simple crap bike rack
You think I'm like Einstein???! 🤗
Now Everybady know ur tool, then teach how to use right way.
На глаз и все
Не чего сложного
Формулы то зачем
that is not simple its high level mathematics in the begining.
You could always build the sides a little long and then trim as needed. If you want waste less wood make a pattern using cardboard or something else cheap.
I'm not sure what you consider high level but this is from Google... "The Common Core math standards calls for students to be introduced to the Pythagorean Theorem in 8th grade, but this lesson is low-floor enough that it could be used earlier."
Its not for woman bike!
Over complicated crap
