Yeah, probably. There is one of those metal things for the sewer on the way and that might make it skid a tiny but. But technically it would need to be able to make up for that by steering. But still it's an impressive attempt. As I am still inside the parking bay at the end. Plus the ground in the parking lot is slightly tilted.
@@robertmuller-uri7370 it basically replays the motions you input in reverse so not a conscious thing. I have it on my 135 and I've used it a couple of times in a really tight driveway which worked every time. However the full auto park is the most impressive, I can't believe it does the full thing I including gears, brakes and steering. I wish it would work remotely too, now that would be awesome!!
@@bloodstockvip2176 yeah, I know how it works. I am just saying that it's already awesome but can also be improved a tiny bit. But yeah 95% of the times it's spot on!
@@robertmuller-uri7370 strange you mention this. I was already laughing at the fact that old people tend to reverse back exactly how they drove forward. It’s why the do a 20 point turn and still haven’t managed to turn around! I would like to assume this is not a function bmw where aiming for. Who really never wants to turn around? If you left your parking space sand drove past a bunch of other spaces before remembering your forgot milk or what ever, you’d just pull into another space. If the car park is that busy that the space you left is the only one, chances are it’s already been taken by someone else waiting for a space. Or your just going to p!ss every one else off by reversing round a car park! I just don’t get what this function is for. Are we now going to start seeing people driving to work forwards in the morning. And backwards going the wrong way down the wrong lane in the evening? It just seems like a 100% pointless function that has zero use!

Is it just me that fails to see the need or even the point in a function that can retrace your steps in reverse?
Well... Drivers Like you and me.. For us there is no Point. But Lets be honest, Look at the average old Lady trying to Reverse somewhere
