Equiped lime Her screaming seems pretty audible to me, I think you meant unintelligible? It’s funny how you mention lack of chords in their music yet call Ramones “real punk” despite them using the same 2-3 chords in all of their songs.
Also, yes I listen to those bands along with other 70s/80s punk bands on a regular basis since my early teens. If you did so you’d notice that there is no set “punk” sound. Even the Ramones and The Clash sound different from each other. The “punk rock” genre is very vast and colorful, and these two individuals seem to encompass the punk attitude and feel to me.

Honestly I’ve never been too keen on this type of music but I’m so glad I found these guys. The topics they sing about fit the the style perfectly and (esp. in this song) the screaming parts remind me of a kid having a tantrum and I genuinely think it’s the best way to summarise the whole ‘nice guy’ issue but it has a darker undertone to it that hints to the fact that it makes women uncomfortable and makes women feel unsafe
