I would like to see that same test with the cover off to see if the 4 small wires were getting hot inside the inverter as well where they connect to the thumb screw terminal. Nice job with the review.
I think that the problem is people don’t understand electrical power and how it works you need good connections and they should be checked every once in a while that they are tight and wire size is a problem it takes big cables to move dc voltage check your system and stay safe
@@OffGridBasement Check the dimensions of the binding post, might lead you to a manufacturer. If the connection is plated then it's possibly an issue. One could check with a milliohm meter (like for cells) the connection resistance and cable resistance.

If you look at the connections you see the insulator sticks out past the flat copper so the connection never even makes contact correctly. The solution is chipt all the way around both isolaters. I cchipped around my first inverter but to bussy to do it to my second inverter just knock on wood i get tired of working on stuff especially brand new stuff
Definitely do not like the alfaa based on this test. I will stick with the CNswipower one I got. 3200 watts at 12 volts and it is silent and comes with good connections for the battery cables. They also make them for higher dc voltage.
lol my 400watt black and decker inverter started action up so i took it apart to see whats wrong and i noticed one of the wires was loose so i fixed and it when i went to put it back in its old plastic case that looks metal lol well i ended up ripping off a capacitors so now it wont work at all so i have to fix that now and i just threw out all my old cpactiors lol i like fixing things so i collect all old parts out of old TV and radieos and exc. so yeah not happy atleast i still have my cheap 30 dollar 500watt inverter from EBAY and i got a 50% percent discount when i told the seller it shocked me lol
lol dont look my name up for walton or sidney new york lol im a 2 tme felon whoes been to jail over 10 times all before i was 25 years old lol now thats a record lol also i spent 2 years in prison as well short bid still prison was fun tho i wish i never left but yeah you dont have clue the people you talk to sometimes im a very nice person until i get pissed off
It serves as its own hot plate! A real money saver 😆
I like your optimism! Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for the suggestion and the comment.
This thing gets HOTTT!
Hotter than I expected! Thanks for the comment.
Thanks for a great video. I'll stick with my Cnswipower . Rock solid
Thanks for the comment.
Change out the thumb screws with nuts you can put a wrench on and redo the test. Then see if the temp there drops. Thanks for doing the video.
I'll do that. Thanks for the comment.

Yes. I check my entire setup every month with a thermal camera. Only takes a few seconds. Thanks for the comment.
What are the binding post connections for the 24V Inverter rated at.. ? Possibly only 100A if they are of top quality, and well terminated.
Not sure how to find that out. Inverters aren't designed to run at full capacity for very long anyway.

134 Amps!!! wow

Thumb knobs for DC input for 3000W inverter? really? $300?
I'm going to find a way to replace them.
Thumb knobs are the deal killer for me. Pathetic.
Yes. I plan to switch them with something else to see if it handles heat better.

sweet send me the 12v one then
