A few months ago, I bought my 2015 Mercedes-Benz from a dealer that lied about its condition. Today, we are fixing all of this car's numerous cosmetic issues and giving it a full paint correction and makeover with some much-needed upgrades. It's not going to be cheap, but it's certainly going to be worth it...I hope.

Loved this video, so satisfying to get the car cleaned and fixed the way it should be done and when you drive it, just the best feeling.
I wish he'd drive his cars more. I was literally invested in both lambo builds and never got to see him drive them enjoying the finished cars. Would have been cool to see a mini montage of him driving with drone footage.
2nd this, I haven't seen the white lambo in like 2-3 years and that was so sick. If he took it out to the strip or the track or something that'd be really fun to watch

You can use magnets to hold those pockets together in the the back. Just get small rectangular ones, wrap them in white leather, and glue them on. Also get a cheap seat cover that you can remove when going fancy places, because not only will your seat get dirty, but you have a chance of ripping it from keys and tools.
I love this generation S65, the gauge cluster/infotainment screen an that mood lighting. Benz killed it.

What a massive improvement! He really knows his stuff. And what an interior. I do think those wheels need the diamond cut treatment though. Black cheapens the overall finish of the car IMO.

To fix them seat backs, very common. My Benz did the same thing! I got the ‘Mercedes back rest special tool’ looks like a T bar with a spade on the end of it. Removed the back cover cut the elastic out of the nylon strap heats a nail up with a blow torch and made a hole in the nylon strap on both sides and added a spring between the 2 straps strong enough to pull it shut but stretchy enough to let you pull the pocket out. I also added abit of carpet to behind the spring to strip rattles.
Completed this about 12 months ago and still strong as ever.
Find Rex a sponsor so he can get a respirator that will actually filter out the chemicals he is using. Unlike his underwear 😂

Aircraft paint thinner in rattle can from oriellys takes that spray paint off and won't hurt the chrome works awesome just rinse it off with water and it take all the paint off! Try a test spot on plastic if worried but I've done it alot on all kinds of materials

27:15 I think you have the same issue with Shmee's SLS Black Series, some back and forths were done by a steering wheel vendor and they cannot make that cruise control interface work.

That new front end was something that when my brother bought this car 2019 version refused to buy without that front end I forgot what trim comes without it or year but I told him to buy it from OEM instead of paying extra 11-12 k just for that certain car to have inly maybe 2 extra features. Great choice brother

I think you should wrap/ paint all the chrome in black/ carbon fiber. Would match the wheels/ mirrors, and would give it a really aggressive look while still looking classy.
Just finished the video, and I agree with you, the big chrome pieces should be black, and trimmed In chrome, that looks so sick.
